America and the EU really must be either ignorant of Islamic Imperialism or something worse. This article is typical of the western mindset. The writer: Edward P. Joseph, is an Islamist sympathizer. He goes on to call for Kosovo to be recognized by the world, and that the Islamo-Fascist state of Bosnia must gain control over the liberated part of Bosnia: Republika Srpska and that Serbia must join NATO.
Something is terribly wrong with Joe Biden visiting the Balkans next week. It isn’t his expertise that is at issue. Few Americans understand the region better than Biden, who had the temerity to call Slobodan Milosevic, the late Serbian dictator, a “war criminal,” to his face. The problem is that a visit from the vice president of the United States is even needed nine years after Milosevic lost power, a decade after NATO intervened in Kosovo, and 14 years after determined U.S. diplomacy ended the war in Bosnia.
The US should never have gotten involved in this region. We should of allowed a Serb victory over the Islamo-Fascist forces there. Our involvement in neutering Serbia gave Muslims confidence and hence 9/11.
The second and better option is to finally fix the core problem in Bosnia: the unresolved relationship between Republika Srpska (RS), the Serb entity that emerged from the war, and the central state that Serbs see as “Muslim dominated.” This means opening up the constitution to fundamental change, something the Serbs are reluctant to do. They understand that any move to strengthen the central government will necessarily weaken Republika Srpska. Getting the Serbs and their Bosniak and Croat counterparts to negotiate seriously on the constitution will require a game-changer, something that will reward cooperation and penalize intransigence.
In other words the Serbs must submit to Muslim domination. Why does the US always side with Muslims against Christians? Please can someone explain this insane Bi Partisan policy of helping Islam?

We fought in Iraq to get rid of someone who supported terrorism (remember the offer of payment of up to 25 or so thousand dollars (american) to the family of any suicide bomber, and the torture in his country of any who opposed him?).

I agree on the current state of Iraq. I don’t think we should go back, unless we start with massive bombing to break the desire to make us submit.
There may be that possibility, but it is still not the job of the President to silence the media. Resorting to corruption is not an ideal that Conseratives should resort to. We have a free media for a reason, and a president silencing them via strongarm tactics is exactly why our Constitution guarentees a free press.

I think Bush’s foreign policy in the region was on the auto pilot (course set by Clinton) because he had more important problems. It is very hard to completely change a course in foreign policy without risking a lot, that should be done gradually. Very good chance was to force Kosovo Albanians to negotiate with Serbian government and make a compromise, but everybody knew they are Muslims and they will riot and kill if their demands are not fulfilled. The Republika Srpska is NOT Christian. It was nationalist-socialist and established as a cats paw to delay inevitably communist-defeating elections in Serbia for a decade. (To that end, it worked. For a decade.)
The Republika Srpska is kinda like a Mafia with territory and a flag. They committed a major war crime at Srebrenica which was so hideous it almost mandated international intervention to destroy the RS utterly. We let it live because it was politically expedient to do so, and ONLY because it was politically expedient.
The Republika Srpska is far less legitimate a candidate for international recognition as a nation than is even Palestine. The Palestinians only TALK about wanting to commit genocide. The Army of Republika Srpska V Corps at Srebrenica, July 11-17 1995, actually did so (killing 1% of the male population of Muslim Bosnia in less than a week).
This is not deniable and has been admitted by the Republika Srpska government itself.

Going into Bosnia and stopping the war there was the *only* thing the Clinton Administration did that was worthy of any admiration.

The dead at the 1993 Kravica “massacre” (read: humiliating tactical military defeat) were all (but two) military aged males, buried in uniform, with bullet and grenade wounds clearly showing death in combat. The two exceptions, a girl and an old man, were apparently hit by stray bullets.
IOW, combat deaths during a combat operation no less legitimate than any other normal combat operation at the time. It was just on this occasion, the Bosniacs caught the Serbs with their pants down and with their alcohol levels a bit too high. Bad stuff happens to the unprepared soldier.
Source? The British pathologists who dug up the graves and autopsied the dead as part of the ICTY investigation. My office coordinated the guards when they exhumed the combat graves in question. No question: the Kravica dead were all (but two) combat troops killed in normal combat.
