Totalitarian Progressives promote Serf Style Dependency

by Rodan ( 123 Comments › )
Filed under Economy, Liberal Fascism at August 12th, 2009 - 10:00 am

Feudalism, which was thought to be long gone has made a comeback. The Transnational Totalitarian Progressive Movement is promoting Neo-Feudalism, a system where Progressive elites will have the rest of us living a serf style dependency. An example of their attitude is a program giving out $200 per child to poor families in NY for School supplies. This program was funded with $140 million from the taxpayers and the other $35 million coming from George Soros.

A $200 back-to-school giveaway for needy kids sparked a mad rush for money on the streets of New York on Tuesday.

“It’s free money!” said Alecia Rumph, 26, who waited in a Morris Park, Bronx, line 300 people deep for the cash to buy uniforms and book bags for her two kids.

“Thank God for Obama. He’s looking out for us.”

Thousands of people lined up at banks and check-cashing shops to withdraw the cash that magically appeared on their electronic benefit cards.

Although this sounds nice, why do these people deserve $200 per child? Why not other families in other locations? The attitude displayed by these people shows how many Americans are already Serfs to the Progressive Lords. Also, why is Georg Soros involved in this? That was a stupid question. Soros is one of the Transnational masters of the Progressives.

The sick part is the person saying “Obama is looking out for us.” No he is not, he is turning these people into slaves. This just really bugs me, why do these people deserve 200 for their kids. How about other families that are struggling. This is BS.

This is just old-style vote buying as in the Chicago-way!

In other news -- more vote buying:

Hundreds of ads seeking ‘activists’ who will be paid to ‘support Obamacare’ and ‘fight for Obama!’ Apparently, craiglist has hundreds of these solicitations: “defend President Obama’s Health Care Plan over August Recess! $500+wk (Capitol Hill)” “jobs for Change fight with Obama for Health Care Reform! $1600-2400mo (Capitol Hill)” “Campaign to Save our Health Care -- Fight for Obamacare! $400-600wk (Capitol Hill” link: http://www.redstate.com/absentee/2009/08/09/lets-talk-astroturf/

A few years back I helped out at a ‘back to school’ event. It was for ‘poor’ kids. However, no money was given (which is probably used not for what it was intended) but school supplies themselves, which were donated.

That didn’t take long. I have been registered over at Nancy’s site since 2002. I haven’t posted much in the last three years as it started going down hill fast. Yesterday I returned and acquired a noteworthy record of down-dings, -7:

Great leadership, as demonstrated by that great Democratic Leader Arlen Spector. He was a mole for decades, and has now gone back home to his real party, but when will he lead?

“If a bill is proposed that I think is unwise, I will vote against it,” Specter said.

Weasel words. If his masters tell him to vote for it, he will vote for it. The “man” is a trained seal. He barks on command for the crowd, but he doesn’t even realize he is barking.

  14. 15 | August 12, 2009 12:03 pm

It isn’t free money. It is money taken from someone else.

These scumbags are celebrating that the federal government stole money from other people to give it to them.

I would imagine, if presented as such, it would be quickly written off as “Oh, they can afford it, they’re rich, they deserve to pay more.” (because being rich is a crime in which you should be fined, apparently)

But, here’s the thing. It isn’t coming from ‘the rich’ . . . it is coming from you and I. I don’t know about you, but I’m not rich. I barely break 30k a year and am losing money every month trying to keep afloat in the crap I’m already paying for (and I don’t even have a car payment or own a home, just school debt for college that I couldn’t finish).

The federal government is stealing from you and I to give to people who don’t wisely spend their time to earn money, or wisely use their money so as to have reserves for the hard times.

What incentive is there, really, to be responsible?

My whole life, my family has been too poor to pull ahead but not able to get help (except a short time that we were on food stamps as a kid, couldn’t have been more than a month or two)

That’s just how it is. I’ve always seen people with no work ethic profit from the same system that was keeping me and my family from being able to pull ahead.

The Federal Government (and liberal State Governments) really have done a good job of handicapping capitalism.

True, that. I wonder which way they will jump, though? Socialized medicine is a huge power grab for the Federal Government, but much less so for the individual congresscritter. And, of course, it is a huge power grab for the Democratic Party (think of all those union bureaucrats voting Democratic. It is enough to make your stomach churn heart warm). But on the other side are the voters, and in 1994 they showed that they can get mighty testy if congress pisses in their face hard enough.

Will they risk losing their cushy jobs? That is the question. I figure we will know by Christmas. My bet is they’ll go for it, and hope that the voters will only kick out a symbolic few rather than a 1994-style bloodbath. But that is just a guess.

Thanks BuddyG and Vapig. The comment threads here are always more interesting. Nancy’s demonstrated inability to have an intelligent debate is just sad. He just throws out his knee-jerk one-liners and expects adulation for what he, no doubt, considers chesnuts of wisdom. When he encounters someone who won’t be intimadated, and who is his intellectual superior, he sulks, down-dings and eventually bans.

Yeah, that is what I am afraid of. the truth is there is nothing the Republicans can do to stop it. If they were a little brighter (and more confrontational), they’d say that. Publicly disavow all of it, vow to vote against it, and wash their hands of the result. They don’t have the balls to do that, though.

    re: #31 by Rodan

That, too. Most of them, especially the Democrats, were bought long ago, and now it is time for them to pay up. As I’ve said before, I expect this to pass. I hope I’m wrong, because I believe that it will, in the end, be disasterous for our nation.

It should be relatively easy in the modern information age to grassroots the idea that congress people should be declared a special class when it comes to perks and healthcare or they should assume the same humility everyone else deals with in life.

Someone should push forth a bill that designates a congress person as a protected class and see who votes for it and against it.

Let’s just hope that if it IS 1994 all over again that this time the republicans KEEP the spine they always remember to find while a minority party and start moving to the RIGHT.

I fear, however, that with the constant leftward movement of the Republican Party (and the growing movement to boot out anyone who doesn’t compromise every conservative principle for the sake of the win) that a Republican Congress will be no different than a Democrat Congress, save only for which areas the federal government grows.

It isn’t really a win if the federal government grows in causes that we like it to if we are going to call ourselves Conservatives and be for smaller government.

    re: #35 by Iron Fist

They don’t want to set an expectation of opposition to big government. I really think that is why the Republicans are only focusing on cost and ability to keep private plans rather than looking at the clearly unconstitutional nature of the federal government involving itself in healthcare.

The RNC wants to soak up some of the mush-brain vote, so it seems to have turned to pandering to people’s basic desires rather than fighting for what matters.

And it worked SO well for them in 2006 and 2008.

I really hope that they turn around and put up people worth voting for in 2010. I fear, instead, that it will be yet another election where conservatives are bullied into voting Republican as though it is their duty to support a leftward moving party.

Thankfully, I live in Oklahoma, with two GREAT Senators that I gladly support.

That’s a tough one. If I was young and passionate, I think I’d be more open to roughing it -- Grizzly Adams style. Now, everything I have was earned by me and is paid for. I’d really resent someone trying to take it from me.

We took in alot of katrina ‘refugees’ from new orleans.

Actually, despite the good conservative federal senators, the republicans only recently gained majority in oklahoma in both houses of state congress for the first time, like, ever.

we have a dem governor yet though.

  82. 83 | August 12, 2009 3:07 pm

I think that anybody who runs around expecting somebody to hand them free money is a scumbag. If you won’t work, then you shouldn’t eat (and notice I said “won’t” -- which is a mindset -- so I’m not talking about people who’ve legitimately lost their jobs.)

She was banned once ….and begged back in and is a attention whore. No one pays attention to her…and she takes her ball home.
Not to mention she mentioned how the tone was ugly…and yet when she posts she isn’t exactly any better than the ugly ones. She gets up on her high horse and dictates…she isn’t any better than the ugly posters to be blunt.

Nothing but socialist nanny staters here. Dodd, Courtney, Lieberman, the locals, fuggedaboutit. We do have an R governor, leaning toward rinoism, though she has tried unsuccessfully to rein in spending.

It’s ok, we’ll end up in prison for being conservative anyway, turned in by our neighbors.

Gotta love socialism. Really encourages freedom by forcing everyone to be miserable together, oppressed and poor, for the benefit of the few leaders.

Lives with her dad? That is odd. I got an email not long ago, from a mutual friend, asking if I would help Sharmutant financially because she had lost her job and her power had been shut off.

I didn’t donate, because she’s a twat. I’m glad I didn’t, because if the above is true, I’m wondering if it was all a scam.

You would not believe me if I told you, but it is most likely the most pathetic thing I have ever heard.

I still have an account over there, though I have not posted in some time due to the turn for the worst the place has taken, and I still have some friends there -- and I am not sure what has been said to whom about this. I’d worry that it could be traced back to one of them.

But it is pathetic -- and funny. I almost pity the drunken bitch. Almost.

    123 | August 13, 2009 7:43 am

Awesomest thread ever. I’m enjoying the sweet schadenfreude -- I’m not real fond of that Irish Rose chick, and Sharmuta…

I was stealth banned there for probably the dumbest reason ever -- posting a slightly modified version of Churchill’s “Hedgerows” speech in response to IceWeasel’s “Bring it!” post… Then Sharmuta pulls her crap. Of course, she rode my ass the entire time I was there…

Anyway, at least I didn’t get the treatement MarineVet got -- to be accused of being a fucking racist, when you ‘ve been banned and can’t defend yourself. What a crock of shit.

It’s like the friggin’ Manson Family over there -- Charlie and his girls…

Anyway, this thread has been very informative LOL
