Flying Pig Moment: I Was Wrong

by Rodan ( 455 Comments › )
Filed under Blogmocracy, Open thread at September 23rd, 2009 - 5:30 pm

flying_pigI just want to get some things cleared up. After analyzing my reaction to have my identity outed by the Radical Progressive Blogger Charles “Icarus” Johnson, I did wrong. I admit, I was wrong in outing the identity of several LGF bloggers. I am not apologizing, because these people are Totalitarian Progressives and have an evil agenda. They also have a Racist vendetta in going after me and not others who have taken them to task. That being said, two wrongs don’t make a right and I was wrong in revealing these people personal Information.

Many of the Blogmocracy Netizens will wonder, why I am am saying all this. Again just to be clear, I am not apologizing. I am just stating that I am better than this tit for tat personal war, I have been engaged in. It distracts from the mission of this Blog, which is to defend Individual Liberties and Human Rights against the Totalitarian Ideologies of Progressivism and Islamo-Fascism. This blog should focus on the cause of freedom and not personal vendettas. Starting today I will no longer out any person. Defenseman/Honorary Yooper can write all the posts he wants, I will ignore him. He is an agent of the Progressive and they want to silence me.

The blogmocracy is rising in the Blogosphere. We have been noticed by several bigger blogs and have received praise. I want to continue this momentum and reach beyond the LGF universe. I want this Blog to be Politics plus. I want us to be a fun community where we discuss politics and other topics. I want us to expose the Totalitarians and defend Freedom, Individualism and Human Rights.

I do want to apologize to Tee/Kilgore for my attacks on him the other night. I assumed it was Racist blogger Killgore Trout, trying to cause trouble. I said nasty thing and I really apologize. I did not know it was Tee and never would of done that. even if it was Killgore, I still should not have done that. I was wrong and Tee, I hope you accept my apology.

As a Catholic I should be better and rise above the pettiness, alas I have I have internal demons and from time to time I snap. For the sake of myself and this Blog, I will no longer jump the gun and attack any poster personally.

I admit, I have done wrong and feel better getting this off my chest.

This is an Open thread as well.

Update: Here is what I am having for Dinner, Yellow Rice with Red Beans and Spanish Pork. I bought this at the Cuban-Dominican eatery near my House!

Dinner

Lol. Much more grace here that in any of the Charles Johnson posts. I think I am fine with the tit for tat here if people stop this outing thing. Just consider that you added good karma to anyone who formed a stronger better opinion from your words.

Good for you Roden. They are falling on their own swords. Let them talk. However, while you stand down, I will continue to rip them a new one every chance I get because they are beneath contempt. Vile and graceless liars and hypocrites.

And I am not convinced of the racial angle since I think your words have been presented stronger then your race. I wouldn’t put it past Kilgore Trout though. But I think it is your strong opinions that bother them more.

Miguel in Mexico went at odds with LGF. He did attend some of the grief to the fact that his culture was misunderstood. That could just be ignorance on his critics part.

Sheesh, take off the hair shirt willya? I suppose if you feel ‘obliged’ by your own personal moral code to do this sort of thing, well have at it.

It’s not going to impress the D!ckheads over at Little Green Meltdown. It just exposes you to further ridicule and makes you (and by extension, US) look weak and afraid. (this is NOT my opinion, I’m just concerned that all this hand wringing is of little use and only satisfies some inner demon of your own.)

They’ve done and said plenty of things that are far worse and we’ve never heard one tiny iota of regret from the Maximum Dork to the Minimuta.

The very huge flaw of Charles is that he can not admit a mistake. And he has made plenty. Based on his actions and definitions he is wrong about racism, facism, and creationsim. but the horse has fled the barn.

  28. 28 | September 23, 2009 5:53 pm

This is a good thing. Stop letting selrahc control the debate and the climate, stop the climate of enmity he fosters over there, the encouraging posters to pick on one another, the calling anyone with an opposing opinion a troll.

Right now the hunting down of his own readers and the debasing of every person who raises their head above the curb is unique to his blog. Let it stay that way. It may have started in good fun, the troll hunting and the initiations rites for hatchlings, like the up/downdings it became toxic.

Make a clean break, continue to welcome the refugees into the light.

If that was the case, they would go after all the Admins. They only go after me and it clearly is racist. Bob, wrath and savage has ripped them a bigger one than I ever have.

Notice they also go after Malkin, she is Filipino. Progressives like Charles are racist and in his mind, I’m a Spic who don’t know my place. That is what is behind this.

Our two resident deer just showed up to feed. I absolutely love seeing them. They are here every evening just before dark. We are pretty sure they are here every morning, but are rarely here to see them. They seem to have accepted the deer feeder (with corn) and are now leaving the bird feeder (with bird seed) alone, unless the deer feeder is empty, then they have no problem coming within 10’ or so of the back door to eat the bird seed.

We are going through a 40# bag of corn in about 4 days and with the bird migration going on about 20# of bird seed in about 7 days (if the deer don’t get to it).

Haven’t had to deal with that in a long time. There should be a Wordpad or Text edit app on your old computer. Open in Word and copy/paste into the text edit. (someone help me here – rtf? Format. You should then be able to open it in the other word processor. You may loose formatting, but you should be able to get it converted.

download OpenOffice (free program) and install to open your files, then save in the format you want to use (save as, then select from dropdown menu at bottom of dialog box). You shouldn’t lose any formatting at all, as long as you haven’t done anything wild and crazy.

    re: #46 by Delectable

I don’t mean to single YOU out, you just happen to be the latest to say something others have said.

Fine words and humble apologies are all well and good when in the company of those you respect. To often however we give our enemies the respect they don’t deserve or return and they use our reluctance to get ‘down and dirty’ to their advantage and sneer and mock our attempts to be honorable and righteous.

Leftist Liberalism is a threat. It is a threat to us, our parents, our children. Anyone who thinks they can compromise with them for the betterment of all is only fooling themselves.

Anyone who doesn’t think this, needs to step aside and let those of us who are prepared to DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO DEFEAT THE ENEMIES OF THIS COUNTRY WHETHER HERE OR ABROAD. This includes crossing some boundaries of good taste or decorum that the Leftists liberals hide behind whenever they find themselves exposed for the gutter trash that they are. They have begged for mercy or claimed ignorance and plead for forgiveness in the past and we have forgiven them but they then proceed to attempt to destroy all that is good in the world at the first chance they get. This pernicious mental disease know as Progressivism needs to be stamped out thoroughly and for all time by any means necessary.

I can’t agree with that. Honor and courtesy will always have a place in the good fight. You don’t need to be nasty to shine the bright lights into the corners. Pragmatism and ends justifying means are the weapons of the enemy; our weapons should be truth and clarity.

Rodan did the exact right thing, and it took a big man to do it. A REAL man.

Your welcome, selrahC. And thank you for finally deleting those genocidal comments that your blog once specialized in. But, fair warning, I’m gathering lots more where those came from. You WILL be held accountable for the exterminationist rhetoric that you encouraged for so long.

Today I was driving on a section of divided four lane approaching a construction zone.
We had just come off a red light, and there was a garbage truck ahead of me. I was about two vehicle lengths back as we approached the bottle neck, when a van aproached fast on my right attempting to cut in front of me. I decided to have none of it and gunned my vehicle ahead. The driver of the van flipped me off and shook his fist.
Abot three hundged yards into the construction zone we hit another light. After a few moments of consideration, I stepped out of mmy vehicle, and stood there pointing and laughing at him.
he was a lawyerly looking sort with a three piece suit and tie.
When I heard the air brakes of hte trash truck, I jumped back in my vehicle and departed leaving him sitting there beating his fist on th steering wheel and shaking his head in anger.

    Rodan’s post has healing.

I went through the same thing when I let ChenZhen talk me into a prank with the LGF dictionary. And it was only a prank and the Dictionary was to be fully restored once the not so fun fun for me ended. As it turned out the site was deleted and the thing was moved to 1.0 proper.

I still regret violating the trust of the other admins, zombie, Killgore, Mandy, WriterMom, DesertSage, lawhawk, that took me into confidence to make that site what it became and apologized for having let my guard down. I will never do anything like that ever again.

I was really busy myself but in a minute he ran over there to me, his hair all mesed up and said; ” Here hold my glasses! ” and tore into someone. Ok maybe not so funny. but maybe you might change your mind is what I mean.

I can’t get in over there to go back through the profile/comments -- IIRC it was around a year ago. I don’t know how the news of his stroke came -- perhaps an email to someone? I just don’t know.

I wasn’t reading every comment/every thread, of course, but to the best of my knowledge nothing more was heard from or about Miguel. I don’t know if ChsJ could, or if he did try to find out. Is it possible that no one in Miguel’s family or circle of friends spoke or wrote English? Perhaps no one even realized there would be people in the etherworld concerned about him?

It’s really sad to not know.

#7 orangecrush mentioned Miguel being at odds with LGF. Everyone on the overnight thread sure seemed to consider him an A-1 person, but again -- I sure wasn’t there every night. In light of what orangecrush has mentioned, I can’t help but wonder if he was way ahead of the rest of us in perceptiveness: just didn’t want to return? Blocked? I can’t remember if he had his nic blue. If not, and if he didn’t have LGF correspondence other than the threads, the only one who could know/inquire would have been that blog owner, and what would be the odds there?

Ugh. It is “give charles a tongue bath” night at LGF.

    Sample quote from iceweasel:
“Hey folks-- I posted this at the bottom of a dead thread, but hope you will forgive the repost.

I think those of us who read the Atlantic need to be nominating LGF and Charles for the Yglesias Award this year:

The Yglesias Award is for writers, politicians, columnists or pundits who actually criticize their own side, make enemies among political allies, and generally risk something for the sake of saying what they believe.
Not as an endorsement of the Atlantic, but because it’s the only place I know of that has such an award-- and it would bring LGF a lot of traffic.

    [Link: andrewsullivan.theatlantic.com...]

Sully already told people to check out LGF and said it was an Yglesias Award in motion. I honestly can’t think of anyone on the scene who is more deserving of it than CJ.”

You know…when this blog first started, he rarely if ever mentioned it or took notice of it. NOW, he mentions it constantly which shows it’s REALLY affecting him. Couple that with his constant sales tactics on the few people that are still there demonstrates that his numbers are dwindling dramatically(in terms of members and page hits) and he’s in trouble. I wonder if he realizes how DESPERATE he looks. I mean, how can he constantly criticize Glenn Beck, yet allow him to advertise on his website that he so readily bans people from for the smallest of criticisms? He did the same thing with Ann Coulter. He has no principles which pretty much sums up his ever-changing “relative” political views etc. They only serve him in the “now”. Typical f-n lib.

WordPro, that’s right! I actually remember when Lotus was incorporating Ami (thinking they bought it from someone? too long). WordPro is a much better package than old Ami was — the biggest problem with Ami was that it was wonderful for the user who just wanted an easy to use word processor, but terrible for the person who had to push the edges, like me, because it gave up a lot of high-level-function flexibility for the sake of that simplicity.

He lost the income from Pajamas Media’s blog network and has only been able to replace it with pay-per-click stuff from Google and Amazon, which pays peanuts. It was very predictable that he’d run into trouble when the Pajamas network stopped subsidizing its roster of bloggers.

None the less, LGF has a lot of brand recognition. It’s still on first base, but needs a base hit or two, while his hopes for a home run seem to be fading.

Hi all, just signed up here. Used to read LGF but stopped last year after they started devoting every second thread to bashing Christians over Intelligent Design. Not saying I necessarily agree with the concept of ID, but certainly felt that a site that launches so many attacks on Christians probably doesn’t reflect my world views too well. Been amusing to watch it implode over the last year or so.
Anyways, looking forward to conversing with some more open minded people here. BTW, I am Australian, so might be able to provide a bit of outside perspective on a few issues from time to time. I’ve noticed that many posters here are American, or am I wrong?

But, in retrospect, It’s was what got me out of a really bad employment situation. Boss’ were threatened by me. Left McAllen, TX (Mexican boarder and move to Houston).

Heh, I got a useless degree in English, and was so grateful I knew how to type! Worked temp for years, taking every we-can’t-find-anyone-to-do-this-job-how-bout-you position they came up with, and learned tons. My favorite: probably working on the Humana-Tricare proposal, eighty hours a week using Pagemaker and Word. We were calling Microsoft every week to figure out bugs, and getting, as an answer, “Um, yeah, we get that problem too.” What fun!

Do you know when he stopped posting in relation to his stroke? I mean, did he post only near-term after his stroke, or did he post for some while afterward? Or -- did he even post at all after the stroke? You’d think that if he were close enough to others to have emailed with several, that someone would have gotten some kind of response (assuming he was recovering).

It just doesn’t seem likely he would have just cut off from everyone he emailed with. It’s looking like whatever it is we don’t know…isn’t good.

If you know anyone who knows his name -- they could check at familysearch.org. That’s the Mormon Church site, and an entered name can be search-selected for ‘worldwide’. Depending on how common -- or uncommon -- the name, it’s a site that can help to resolve the unknown.

Well I do like him, but there’s a site in Russia that has all his rare LP’s that weren’t reissued on CD or not until very recently … I listened to a bunch of it and most of it doesn’t deserve to be reissued. His problem was being a VP at RCA and feeling it was his job to churn the stuff out. Christmas albums, albums with choral groups, hits of the day, etc. Really banal recordings. His best work was pre-1955, for the most part.

Our biggest problem at the moment is the impending introduction of a Global Warming Tax, ooops, I mean the Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme. Coming in November, regardless of what the rest of the world does. The ironic thing is that it will mostly cause job losses in our heavily unionized mining sector, the very unions that campaigned to get Rudd elected our leader. What do they call that? Well, he reads this blog, so maybe he’ll repost it and reiterate his position. I think he is an OPPORTUNIST, plain and simple, hence the 180. Oh yeah…and he’s also a thin-skinned meglomaniac control freak, but who’s counting?

Bad Craziness Watch: Queegson hyperventalates about a mythical frog that the eviiiiiiil Glenn Beck boiled:

I can’t help it. Maybe it proves I’m just a liberal commie.

But there’s a big difference between preparing an animal to eat (such as a lobster), and staging the killing of an animal on live television to make a political point.

This is bad craziness. In spades”

Watching the clip it’s obvious no frog(s) were killed/injured in the course of Beck’s usual dramatics.

Someone called Chuckles on his lie and his response doesn’t disappoint:

‘Right after the skit with the “frog”, Glenn fishes out the fellow with a paper cup and hands the cup to John Bolton, former UN Ambassador. Glenn asks John to verify that IT WAS A RUBBER FROG. John says, ‘yep’.
Why does it seem that no one watched that part?’

You mean people actually watch Glenn Beck’s show?”

Throwing a rubber frog into a pan of boiling water to make a point = “bad craziness.”

    Good job, Nanc.

It just keeps getting better and better over there:

Chuck has now promoted John Bolton to Secretary of State. He is clearly rattled. But, Beck is still “insane” for murdering a rubber frog while the children might still be in the room.

You’re doing wrong by apologizing to these psychopaths. These people are not like you. They don’t feel shame for any of their actions. When they see you groveling over what you did they see that as a sign of weakness in you, and they will use that as a weapon against you.
To them, kindness in others is a weakness that they can and will exploit.
When you’re doing battle with these creeps, never let them see you blink. They don’t respect that in an opponent. When you battle them, hit them hard and often. Make them fear you, and never apologize.

Chairman Max Baucus introduced the “America’s Health Future Act.”
“Today, the Senate took an important step forward as Congress moves to send responsible health
care reform legislation to the President’s desk. The draft released by Chairman Baucus addresses
two central goals of the Blue Dog Coalition and the Administration: It is deficit neutral, and it
takes real steps to bring down the cost of health care over the long term. Meeting these standards,
also set forth by the President, is critical to reining in deficits and protecting our economy for
future generations of Americans. I applaud Chairman Baucus and his colleagues in the Senate for
their progress today and look forward to working together as we move to make health care reform
    a reality.”

The fiscally conservative Democratic Blue Dog Coalition was formed in 1995 with the goal of
representing the center of the House of Representatives and appealing to the mainstream values
of the American public. The Blue Dogs are dedicated to a core set of beliefs that transcend
partisan politics, including a deep commitment to the financial stability and national security of
the United States. Currently there are 52 members of the Blue Dog Coalition. For more
information, visit the Blue Dog Website at

Wow. I was just perusing Kirly’s book of the banned just now, and I was absolutely delighted to see NY Nana’s name among the banned. To me, this is nearly as delicious as seeing Sharmuta herself banned.

There are few people I had less respect for than NY Nana. She would down-ding links to news stories if someone she didn’t like posted them, but would upding the same news story if posted by a fellow sycophant. When Charles would pull out the banning stick, she would sharpen her teeth, hoping for some cast-off fresh meat. And nobody updinged a useless open thread on the front page (or any Charles comment) faster than NY Nana.

Okay, I don’t know if there’s supposed to be some kind of solidarity I’m now supposed to share with her, being that we’re all banned now, but frankly, I’m just still too giddy with schadenfreude in the knowledge that NY Nana is locked out of the asylum.

The people have spoken loud and clear, via public opinion polls, hundreds of thousands marching on Washington on September 12th, and at the town hall meetings in August.

And Obama and the Dems say the people be damned.

Blanche Lincoln, a supposed moderate from Arkansas, has announced she is cool with ObamaCare. She may lose in next year’s election, but Obama will reward her somehow, I’m sure. After a year she can begin work as a lobbyist.

Some House dems will lose their seats. Not the leadership from safely leftard districts. Pelosi will never be turned out by the street fair urine drinkers and sausage smokers of the Castro. Rangel is safe if we never get a Republican run DoJ that would indict him. Waxman is safe.

Worst case scenario for Pelotox is she becomes minority leader, and doesn’t get an extra fancy Air Force jet to fly back to SF in every weekend. If the GOP can pick up the almost 50 seats they need.

I remember seeing a Glenn Beck video on LGF last year with the fake Obama national anthem that was done to the tune of the Soviet national anthem. Imagine trying to play something like that on LGF today.

Several years ago, I used to hang out in a Jewish chat room that had voice over IP (so people could use their microphones to talk and play music). It was fun and usually hilarious!!

Sometimes Arabs would show up to yell at us, though. We had a resident guy who was raised in a Jewish community in Syria whose native language was Arabic. We would give this guy the mic and he would swear to the Arab visitors in Arabic. It scared the hell out of them. Everyone else would laugh so hard we’d be crying. It was a funny situation.

Chat rooms do go by fast, though. If you’re into it and type fast, they can be fun. The Jewish chat room was the most hilarious chat room I’ve ever seen.

Lots of inside humor and Jewish stuff all over the place (complete with people who could rattle off in Hebrew at 90 mph, too, which others translated for those who don’t speak Hebrew). It was really fun.

Hopefully somebody sane-minded will alert PETA to this ongoing tragedy and inhumane genocide of rubber frogs. Their levels are apparently at an all time record low and they will surely become extinct soon if immediate action is not taken pronto. Is there some way that these rubber frogs can be placed on the endangered species list? This whole frog issue is apparently a hot topic for certain blogs.

Parents need not worry too much about what their kids are exposed to on daytime television, because what some of them are exposed to in school is far worse than anything found on any television channel.

Here are public school teachers just recently indoctrinating innocent, young school children and forcing them to recite propaganda and sing about “Barack Hussein Obama”. Liberals always claimed that using his middle name was racist, so something should be done about these racist school teachers
polluting the minds of their students with dangerous and false propaganda.

The loozards are falling all over themselves suggesting that a corpse that was discovered in Kentucky, was a Tea Party/Glenn Beck related killing. Knuckleheads, you are incapable of reading. The body was discovered on the the 12th. It had been there a few days and was decomposing. So, probably not a dangerous right wing plot to take down the government.

Incapable of reading simple english…and yet seem to believe they are relevant…idiots.

The body of Bill Sparkman, a 51-year-old part-time Census field worker and occasional teacher, was found Sept. 12 in a remote patch of the Daniel Boone National Forest in rural southeast Kentucky. The Census has suspended door-to-door interviews in rural Clay County, where the body was found, pending the outcome of the investigation.

    And excerpt (quoting Charles):

“There’s a reason why I highlight the hate sermons that flow every Friday from the mosques of the Arab world, even though it may seem repetitious. It is repetitious, and that’s the whole point. This noxious bigotry, Jew-hatred, and glorification of murder and violence continues unabated, week after week, regardless of whether we get bored and stop paying attention. The religious brainwashing of captive audiences never stops, and we will never make progress against the Arab terrorist jihad until our government and our people awaken to this reality. The religion espoused by these Arab mullahs and imams is not a religion of peace.

Is there anyone out there in BLOGSPHERE who wants 3 tonne of prime steak?

2 tonne of EYE FILLET steak at US 7.50 / lb FOB

    and

1 tonne of SCOTCH FILLET steak at US$6.50 / lb FOB

It is export grade quality with full documentation and is ready for shipment out of the port of Auckland New Zealand. I am unsure of the status or beef shipments into the US but this is available for worldwide sale including the Middle East as the abattoir is registered as Halal a killing chain. Alas the meat is not Kosher so an Israeli buyer won’t be in the market.

Anyone interested in some VERY high quality export grade steak at about 1/3 retail?
