Did the interment and confiscation of the property of all Japanese Americans break the US constitution, no it did not. Round them up and deport them, declare them domestic enemies of the United States and be done with them. What you don’t seem capable of understanding is, this is a life and death struggle for the United States.

If we are truly in a life and death struggle, then what you suggest could very well accelerate the process. You are not talking about a mere 200,000 people as was the case in WWII–and yes, the Constitution took a blow there. There are several million muslims in this country of various ethnic backgrounds which you cannot easily intern or deport. You would create a firestorm of litigation of people fighting deportation and civil unrest. You would have a religion/faith system outlawed in a modern country and driven underground. If the Soviets and the Chinese can’t stamp out docile Christianity in their realms, how on earth do you propose we enforce the ban on a far more militant and aggressive sect?

More importantly, this is exactly what they want us to do. Have you missed the part where they crave martyrdom? If we step up persecution from a series of perceived slights and insults (i.e.; The Breslin Bar daring to show its patrons drinking near a mosque) to actual bona fide state-sanctioned policy, can you imagine the effect? I do not know if you can see it, but you are reacting exactly how they want you to–you are being drawn into their game. They are Brear Rabbit wanting to be thrown into the briar patch. Don’t play it.

Again, I understand what you want and part of me agrees. I just do not see how it can be done either logistically or legally–not without destroying the thing that makes our country what it is. If we do that, they win. You do want you want and it will be you that turns this country in to something worse than the examples you cited.
