Obama’s Divisive Presidency

by Rodan ( 473 Comments › )
Filed under Barack Obama, Liberal Fascism, Progressives at November 8th, 2009 - 4:53 pm

Our Radical Progressive Leader Barack Hussein Obama, ran on a campaign of Hope and Change. He emphasized Unity, but has in fact divided Americans. Obama blames everything on Bush and he demonizes Conservatives. The Progressive Network attacks anyone that opposes Obama. He is a nasty individual who does not have the temperament to be President.

After South Carolina Rep. Joe Wilson shouted, “You lie!” as President Obama pitched health care to a joint session of Congress, even Republicans ran from their rude colleague. Two months later, however, most Americans are reaching a similar conclusion about Obama, and not just on health care.

They now believe Obama was not honest about how he would govern. His campaign promises, they say, bear little resemblance to the president he is.

They believed him when he said he was a moderate who would lead from the center. But a clear majority, 54 percent, now says the president is “mostly liberal” and his policies tilt left.

Barack Obama pits Americans against each other without regards to consequences. He demonizes fellow Americans so he can achieve his Progressive Ideology. This man is a narcissist who does not care about this nation. His only concern is the Progressive World View and it’s goals.

I know this is off topic for this thread but apparently Hassan was your prototypical fundamentalism Muslim that attended the same radical mosque the 9/11 hijackers did. Be sure to read the whole thing. In fact this may deserve its own thread.

That can’t possibly have made any diffrence whatsoever; Barack Obama sopped up the Reverend Jeremiah Wright’s hate-America rantings for twenty years, and it never affected him.

    @ MightyConservative:

Not sure if you followed all the links from that Hot Air piece, but this one is interesting:

In interviews with the media, leaders of the Muslim Community Center have painted a portrait of Hasan as a quiet, unassuming Muslim more interested in finding a wife than debating world politics. They express shock at his killing spree and, appropriately, condemn it. But a closer look behind the doors of the mosque and inside the conversations between the engineer and the doctor reveal a more complex picture of a young first-generation American Muslim man living a life of dissonance between his identity as an American and his ideology as a Muslim who had accepted a literal, rigid interpretation of Islam, akin to the puritanical Wahhabi and Salafi interpretations of Islam that define the theology of militancy inside the Muslim world today, according to community members who knew Hasan.

“So many times I talked with him,” said Akhter, a community leader who is sort of like a mosque gadfly, challenging congregants to reject literal, rigid interpretations of Islam. “I was trying to modernize him. I tried my best. He used to hate America as a whole. He was more anti-American than American.”

Despite all the conversations, Akther said, “I couldn’t get through to him. He was a typical fundamentalist Muslim.”

Good thing nobody wanted to seem insensitive and report his behavior or anything…

From the article: “The mystery is why Obama adheres to a course both unpopular and unsuccessful.”

    No. There is no mystery.

Obama is an ideologue whose objective was to radically transform the United States. His objective is to accomplish that transformation, regardless of how “successful” it is in achieving the goals it claims (emphasize “claims”) to want to achieve, because the ideology does not care about the goals it claims to seek. The ideology seeks to ensconce itself irremovably in American politics and the American economy, for it is the establishment of the ideology that is the goal. The claimed goals are merely the selling points for the goal.

Let me clarify that last sentence: The claimed goals are merely the selling points for the unstated objective.

He is a devious upscale con artist and his goal is power and control. It is obvious that the commies in power must convince every American they are a victim of injustice or deprivation.Stir the pot and offer the solution. Only the solution is worse than the problem and the problem could have been fixed with scotch tape instead of a nuke.

    Power and control.

Speaking of someone who’s never had an original thought, from today’s NY Times:

“I mean does every soldier who shows discontent with the war and every soldier that has had a bad performance report — what are we going to do with those folks?” Sen. Graham said. “At the end of the day, maybe this is just about him. It’s certainly not about his religion, Islam.”

He added: “To those members of the United States military who are Muslims, thank you for protecting our nation, thank you for standing up against the people who are trying to hijack your religion.”

When the cat’s away the mice kill each other

The reason for Obama’s peculiar mode of governance, though, may have less to do with his apparent narcissism than with his objectives. It is a credible hypothesis that this president holds views that he cannot easily share, even with his own staff. As he told the United Nations General Assembly on September 23, he truly wants a world without superpowers: “In an era when our destiny is shared, power is no longer a zero-sum game. No one nation can or should try to dominate another nation. No world order that elevates one nation or group of people over another will succeed.”

What does Obama mean by this? How strongly does he feel that America should not be elevated above any other nation? There is some basis for the conjecture that his innermost sentiment is hard-core, left-wing Third World antipathy to the United States. It now seems well established that his autobiography Dreams of My Father was ghost-written by the former Weatherman Bill Ayers, now a professor of education in Chicago. Long rumored, this allegation is confirmed by celebrity journalist Christopher Anderson in his new book, Barack and Michelle: Portrait of an American Marriage. Jack Cashill at the American Thinker has been on this trail for a year, comparing Ayers’ attributed writing to Dreams, and in my view made a strong case even before Anderson’s book appeared. Ayers never repudiated the bombs he planted in public buildings during the 1960s.

Obama’s upbringing was leftist (which in itself proves nothing – so was mine). He was abandoned by three parents – his biological father Barack Obama Sr, his Indonesian stepfather Lolo Soetero, and his mother Ann Dunham, who left him with her parents to pursue doctoral research in anthropology in Indonesia. Dunham’s communist sympathies from adolescence onward are widely reported; the African-American poet Frank Marshall Davis, a Communist Party member, was a friend of his maternal grandfather Stanley Dunham and, according to Dreams, something of a mentor to young Obama.

    Read the whole thing.

It’s far worse than you think.

    Observe:

    obama has:

    1. Put in place individuals of authority that have NOT been vetted by the Senate Committees nor approved by our elected Senators. They have effective control of most all of the Agencies. Bypassing the duly confirmed officers.

    2. Gained the cooperation and approval of the Media to the extent that they will provide cover for any suspect actions by him and his directors long enough for those actions to be effective.

    3. Through his willing puppets in the Senate and House He is on the threshold of enacting a seizure of the health, well-being and property of the citizens of the Nation.

    4. Through a willing and like minded bureaucracy there exists position papers for the State and Local authorities to use as cover/excuse to isolate and/or imprison those most likely to take direct action once it is revealed the extent of his dictatorial intent.

    5. He has shown he will declare any crisis an emergency if it suits his purpose of control and the shutdown of the means of his opponents to coordinate and communicate. (Look to demonstrations being curtailed through threat of exposure to H1N1 or the like and shutdowns of the Internet due to threat of Cyber Attacks.)

    6. He has shown himself to be unconcerned with attacks on the military and the death of innocents here or abroad by Believers in Allah and violent Jihad.
(At the least they are demoralizing. At most they achieve his goal of causing unrest and suspicion within the ranks.)

He is most likely a crypto-Jihadist.

It is my belief that there are plenty of clauses and paragraphs secreted in the ‘Health Care’ Reform bill that can/will be used to begin to isolate and seize those whose politics and patriotism are not focused on his targets or that are focused correctly on him.

It will begin in the center of the Nation and spread outward. Only certain key centers need be secured to disrupt any coordination and communication between organizations and bring organized dissent and attack to an end.

Obama has clearly declared war on Freedom and Liberty in this country. He is funded and advised by foreign and domestic powers who have the stated aim of the reduction of the United States to a state of reduced/eliminated power and influence over the World at Large.

We have seen the seeming inevitable slide toward the fruition of his plans. Even holding to our principles becomes a means to further them. (re: the Republicans voting for the Abortion Exclusion amendment made it MORE likely that the bill would be passed.)

Religion and Guns are feared by the left not because of the Media’s propaganda (that’s just confirmation).

It’s because they fear those who are righteous and God loving and who believe in a Republic of free and equal people. The left sees people as blobs to be commanded and exploited by capitalism and wants that control for themselves. (never met a leftist that didn’t think THEY were going to be in charge come the revolution. DUMBASSES. Or as Lenin would say ‘Useful idiots’.)

The guns are feared because they know where political power comes from and they think Government (theirs) should have a monopoly.

Homeland chief warns against anti-Muslim backlash

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates — The U.S. Homeland Security secretary says she is working to prevent a possible wave of anti-Muslim sentiment after the shootings at Fort Hood in Texas.

Janet Napolitano says her agency is working with groups across the United States to try to deflect any backlash against American Muslims following Thursday’s rampage by Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, a Muslim who reportedly expressed growing dismay over the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The shootings left 13 people dead and 29 wounded.

Napolitano was in the United Arab Emirates on Sunday for talks with security officials and a meeting with women university students in Abu Dhabi.

Gawd, this stuff gets annoying! After 9/11 there was no “Anti-Muslim Backlash”, so why should there be now?

Perhaps she should be taking these Middle-Easterners to task for the “Anti-American” backlash that has killed thousands of Americans.

The fact that Napolitano goes to Abu Dhabi and says that “she is working to prevent a possible wave of anti-Muslim sentiment after the shootings at Fort Hood in Texas” is insulting and demeaning to Americans – something that Obama or a member of his administration seem to never miss a chance to do.

We do not need an administration that constantly goes to the Middle-East and apologizes for Americans, we need one that goes to the Middle-East and demands apologies TO Americans.

    As in:
they really didn’t pour gasoline over Nazis/wives and ignite with hand grenades either. Go ahead… defend your white Christian soldiers.

It was in a movie – I assumed everyone had scene ‘The Dirty Dozen’ – a classic and all time fav. of mine. As far as I know the US Military has never been accused of dosing Nazis in gasoline and igniting them with grenades.I bet there are some moonbats though that have added it to their list of tortures and atrocities forgetting it was only in a movie they’d seen. ‘No, but I played one on TV’. I think it was Rush who pointed out that Slick Willy once claimed he knew about war because he grew up watching ‘Wayne’ movies or some such.

    Then:
    Racists !

Simply lampooning the pony tailed one. It was the reason I was ‘banned’, I’m a f*ckin’ ‘racist’ don’t ya know ? Yeah right, thats me ! F*ck him and feed ‘em beans. What does it say about me though that I came thisclose to being banned on both 1.0 and 2.0 ? A distinction I was NOT looking for BTW LOL !!

    And last but not least:
Oh – simple “I must do what I was taught in Sunday School- the Golden Rule, the Golden Rule !! “…what ? NO ? Gee, then I can’t imagine what it could be…wait, don’t tell me….tip of my tongue…

Was meant to be along the lines of ‘Let me guess, it was a METHODIST …etc. Ya know, the MSM playing dumb in the 1st minutes after a bombing/shooting when questioning the ‘affiliation/motivation’ of the bomber/shooter. As if a Christian has ever been heard to scream “Do onto others…” etc while shooting up a mall or triggering a suicide vest etc. Old ‘joke’ I thought so I didn’t do the ‘sarc tag’ thingy.

Again, sorry for getting so many of you upset.Until a short while ago I had only read the one or two neg responses to my post. As I was searching for my back posts I discovered even more reactions- I had no idea until now.Obviously if so many took the comments literally then its my own damn fault – a matter of ‘I know me but you don’t’ I guess – combined with a dash of ‘not as funny as I thought I was – I just crack myself up’.I hope this clears things up. Shoulda posted that ‘introductory’ note to begin with…lesson learned.
ps – ya did notice my posts in which I offered advice to help others with browser/PC issues ? I only mention this as further evidence that ‘I ain’t no ‘troll’. I really do mean well ! Thanks for your time.

On the one hand it wouldn’t serve any purpose and is counter to our sense of fairness and justice in this country.
On the other hand I kinda wonder WHY HASN’T some nutball decided to use Muslims as a convenient target for their craziness. Is it possible that these acts ARE occurring but not being reported for fear of it spreading or a further backlash against a supposed backlash?

Someone somewhere posted a recent FBI chart showing religious “hate” crimes since 9/11.
There were actually more such crimes against Christians in the US than Muslims. (They kinda camouflaged that by dividing Christians into Catholics, Protestants, and Other, BTW.)
The hands-down winners in the victim category were the Jews. IIRC, there were 3 or 4 times the “hate” crimes against them as against Muslims.
But we don’t talk about that. Oh no. Nothing to see there.

Sadly, the Army Chief of Staff pretty much said the same thing on the talk shows this morning:

General George Casey Jr., the Army chief of staff, said on Sunday that he was concerned that speculation about the religious beliefs of Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, accused of killing 12 fellow soldiers and one civilian and wounding dozens of others in a shooting rampage at Fort Hood, could “cause a backlash against some of our Muslim soldiers.”

“I’ve asked our Army leaders to be on the lookout for that,” General Casey said in an interview on CNN’s “State of the Union. “It would be a shame — as great a tragedy as this was — it would be a shame if our diversity became a casualty as well.”

Lest anyone forget, it was Casey who presided over Iraq’s descent into civil war a few years ago, after which he was made Chief of Staff. Petraeus then came in and cleaned up after him.

    @ lobo91:

You know what, why didn’t the Army take care of the Major Hasan problem before the blood bath? IMO all the talk about a backlash against Muslims is a ruse to avoid the true discussion of how this was allowed to happen.
There is a lot of cya going on.

    @ jakee308, #27:

Many have noted the startling difference between Barack’s prepared-speech smoothness and his halting manner when speaking off-the-cuff. Wretcherd brought up the concept of 2nd-channel communication, and I think he’s onto something. IMO, Barack is trying to communicate on two or three channels at the same time.

    He’s trying to:
    1) lull the moderates to sleep
    2) marginalize the Civilizationists (conservatives)
    3) give the reassuring wink-an-nod to leftists
    4) and let his masters backers know that it’ll all be OK in the end.

Not easy when you don’t have time to edit…

Yeah, Christians are castigated if they say ‘Merry Christmas’ but everyone’s on tiptoes when a Muslim expresses his desire to see physical harm come to Infidels.

BTW: for all the annoying things Christians (and I am one) do, You don’t hear too many YELLING out about INFIDELS and JUSTIFYING MURDER and DECAPITATION. (don’t equate Muslims now doing what Christians did 200 years ago. The christian religion has matured, the world is a more civil place now {thanks to many of those Christians} and the religion is more one of struggling for the souls of others and the forgiveness of our own sins than it used to be)

I don’t believe it’s happening; the media would be trumpeting it from the highest montain if it were. They’ve never shown any signs of responsibilty before, why would they now.

As for why it isn’t, I think we’re a lot more decent that a lot of people (including our President and his facilitators) give us credit for. I also think that law enforcement is keeping tabs on a lot of crazies and terrorists, both foreign and domestic, as they should be.

Sure, some of them slip through due to incompetence, like Husan, but they seem to be the exception.

Alas, If we continue to permeate the military and law enforcement with this PC opiate, we may let someone slip through with something far more detructive that a gun, or three airliners; that’s my fear.

Ok, thanks for the support. I do have to say I did worry about just jumping in without so much as a simple intro. post. That would have helped. I think i started posting the day of the Ft Hood murders and that was a very emotional 24 hours. I really wasn’t expressing any opinions (that I can think of off hand) and was trying to be numerous because I was so tense – my way of coping. Had I expressed my personal opinions and received those reactions then yes, I’d be pissed.I try to be easy goin’ but I don’t take any sh*t either (another reason I was banned over at 1.0). Also,, I’m not sure who I’m responding to here yet – ‘whos who’ as far as Admins. etc. I was guessing I was being called out by those in charge but after reading above I realize I’m still in the dark.

Just assume that all criticizm of Obama, or his administration, is racist. The only reason one would be blind to his genius and greatness is because of racism.

Even criticizm of white people in the administration is racist, because they were appointed by Obama. Questioning his eminent judgement on thee matters is racist.

Noticing that Obama is black is racist.

Ignoring the fact that Obama is black is racist.

If one is not in favor of giving Obama at least a full eight years to get the hang of being President, it’s racist.

The lack of “decorum” is characteristic of this Whitehouse. What happened the protocol people? I always imagined a separate office staffed with various grades of Miss Manners, pouring over volumes of Dos and Donts. Something like that exists in most countries and even some organizations. The European Bank has a protocal officer devoted to international niceties.

As he told the United Nations General Assembly on September 23, he truly wants a world without superpowers: “In an era when our destiny is shared, power is no longer a zero-sum game. No one nation can or should try to dominate another nation. No world order that elevates one nation or group of people over another will succeed.”

Obama didn’t apply this philosophy to Israel, though.

He went to the Middle East to assure all the Arab countries that he was there to listen to them rather than to give them orders. He didn’t visit Israel on this trip. He made a point of refusing to listen to Israel AND of giving Israel orders during his speech to the Arab world.

Obama didn’t ask Israel if it would be possible to strangle the growth and lives of 500,000 Jews during the next phase of a peace process that has gone absolutely nowhere in the last 16 years.

Obama simply ordered and demanded that Israel dry up peaceful communities where 500,000 mostly civilian Jewish men, women and children live. Obama wanted this done as a way to make sure that these half a million Jews would be driven from their homes (the ones they are paying off with mortgages) as a move for “peace.”

The PA’s Mahmoud Abbas is having a nervous breakdown after all this. He now sends out a new threat nearly every single day about either refusing to run for Chairman again or quitting his job or dismantling the Palestinian Authority or declaring a state unilaterally on land that would include 500,000 Jews in it.

There’s no way to have a peace deal with the “Palestinians” and the majority of Israel’s voters know this now. Obama has destabilized one of the most peaceful times in decades (which had occurred because Israel stopped the suicide bombers and other terrorists almost down to zero).

Obama is making a mess of things. Even some “Palestinians” are arguing that the only answer right now is to keep the status quo rather than trying to do anything drastic such as fail (again) to get a final peace deal. Mahmoud Abbas is doing everything he can to push Obama to push Israel into committing national suicide “for peace.”

The end of the suicide bombers has lifted the “Palestinians” economy in Judea and Samaria. They’re doing better right now than they have in a long time.

Obama ordered Israel around after saying that no country should do such a thing. He will also wreck as many other countries’ economies as he can before he’s finished.

Interesting observation where a little research is needed to see if quotes from B. Hussiens speeches validate this.

    However…

It’s part of the what Rodan refers to as the Tranzis movement. They consider themselves globalists and from that perch they look at those they govern as a group they refer to as ‘the American people’, as though we are not of them.

Yep, insurance companies and the “federal option” will be required to insure even with pre-existing conditions. Under those circumstances, if the 2.5% fine is cheaper than insurance, you’d be a fool to pay for insurance until you need some treatment and even then, you could weigh the costs of the treatment vs. insurance. Of course, ifn’ it was me, I’d be choosing the public option insurance so as not to disadvantage a private insurance company. Just sayin’

    @ wolfie:

They do, but not as much. Cattle, sheep, goats, all are cellulose consumers. That causes methane.

BUT – if they don’t eat the cellulose, something else will. Termites put out a lot more methane than all the cattle in the world. And these bonehead greens are the ones insisting that windfallen timber should stay in the forest and rot, so the termites can turn it all into methane.

It’s not about the climate, never was, and never will be.

Sort of OT, It is twenty years today since we thought that progressivism was finally and absolutely defeated. It is the anniversary of the breaching of the Berlin Wall. His dependence on the teleprompter hurts his speech-making in the long run. He has this rhythm that drives you crazy after a while. A certain number of words…slight pause…a certain number of words…slight pause…a cetain number of words…etc etc etc. as he changes his gaze from one prompter to the other. The punctuation is off, and it’s like watching tennis with your ears.

“Islamists in southern Somalia have stoned a man to death for adultery but spared his pregnant girlfriend until she gives birth.

Abas Hussein Abdirahman, 33, was killed in front of a crowd of some 300 people in the port town of Merka.

An official from the al-Shabab group said the woman would be killed after she has had her baby. ”

The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said to her, “Go away until you give birth.” When she had given birth, she came to him. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said to her, “Go away until you have suckled and weaned the baby.” When she had weaned the baby, she came to him. He said, “Go and entrust the baby to someone.” She entrusted the baby to someone and then came to him. He gave the order and she was stoned.

Of course Islam had nothing to do with the Fort Hood shootings, just as it had nothing to do with the USS Cole, the Nairobi and Dar es Salaam bombings, 9/11, 7/7 in London, Bombay, etc. It was all about “root causes”, which are responsible, and so one must blame Bush and/or Israel which are ultimately responsible for all “root causes”. In this case they brought about the “secondary trauma” that is the “root cause” in this case. Islam had nothing to do with it, and it is not Islam’s fault that only Muslims are afflicted by “root causes”.

To my mind, one of the worst excesses of Islamofacism happened short after Khomeini seized power in Iran. It is an incident that is almost forgotten when compared to hosatge crisis and the horrors but when several women of the Baha’i faith were executed. What crimes had they committed that caused them to forfeit their rights to life? Had they committed murder, or child rape or anything like that? Nope, they had done none of those things, they were members of the Baha’i faith.

Sorry, I cant buy it, to be a Muslim is to embrace Jihad, there are those who actively engage in Jihad and those that passively support Jihad, but all Muslims embrace Jihad, it’s a requirement of Islam, kind of like accepting that Jesus Christ is the son of God in Christianity.

Considering that Islam is as much a political belief system as much as it is a religious one, my first inclination would be “yes”.

Islam has proven itself tim and time again to be like a virus that can be carried for years, as in the case of Hasan, and manifest itself in acts of extreme violence.

It has nothing to do with education, poverty or social class. In fact, most of those who exhibit “Sudden Jihadi Syndrome” are educated, well-off Muslims.

Alas, the most pious and devout Muslims are the most dangerous. Shouldn’t that tell us something about the “religion” itself?

If you ask me, the concepts of “Politically Correct” and “Diversity” are strategies created by Marxist infiltrators in our society designed to destroy our ability as a nation to work together towards our own self defense.

    Without a doubt!

    @ RIX:

Yep. It’d be “profiling” to do anything about them. God knows profiling is worse than more terrorism…

I put my faith above Country AND Family. However the Constitution of these United States (except for a couple of amendments) does not contravene my faith.

    2. My Family
    3. My Friends
    4. My Country

Same here, just not going to happen with this pc jihadi loving admins. Savage is right, another 9/11 is being plotted as we speak and the same attitudes prevail in authority as were in place pre 9/11.

I do think that the RoP is planning another spectacular attack on American Soil.
We have probably already welcomed them here,& given them financial & educational assistance.
After they strike , we will once again be treated to the idea of a “teachable” moment.

If the reports coming out re: his affiliation with the radical mosque pre 9/11 are true my guess is they knew of him much earlier than that.

Yeah, that Mosque had a murderous Jihad screaming Imam. We let it go on & he is now in Yemen.

So maybe it wasn’t boogers after all.
