Obama’s cowardly America

by Rodan ( 125 Comments › )
Filed under Barack Obama, Leftist-Islamic Alliance, Progressives, Tranzis at November 18th, 2009 - 11:30 am

Barack Hussein Obama is beloved around the world.  The reason for this is his apology tours and his submission to the Islamo-Imperialists. He views himself as a Transnationalist and a Post-American President. He even refuses to call an Imperialist attack on Ft. Hood for what it is and is demanding Congress not investigate. He is trying Kalid Sheik Mohammed with the same rights as Americans citizens to please Globalist opinions. In reality, all these acts are viewed as weakness and America is laughed at by our enemies as wimps.

Obama Anti-America

The liberal writ was that a strutting “bring ’em on” George W. Bush for eight years did what he pleased on the international scene. His “unilateral” America supposedly did not consult with either allies or international organizations, as he rammed through democracy in Iraq and Afghanistan. President Bush’s “my way or the highway” personal credo resulted in an America alone.

Obama, of course, was hailed as the multifaceted antidote to all that. The new nontraditional America would reach out to the world. We would now listen rather than lecture. This was a welcome reflection of Barack Obama’s own cool and tolerant approach to politics, learned as a seasoned community organizer in Chicago.

But things have not quite worked out as planned. Barack Obama to all appearances is certainly more relaxed than Bush. And he resonates abroad as a nontraditional American. Indeed, Obama is now the paradigm of America’s ongoing metamorphosis into something more like the rest of the planet.

This is was another gem by Victor Hanson Davis! He totally nails Obama for doing everything to please our enemies and global opinion. In the meantime he sells out allies and our interests. Obama is a Post-American President who seeks to turn us into a subservient nation of the Global Community. He is doing everything to weaken us and our enemies know this. That is why they love this man. As Hugo Chavez said, Obama is one of them and he is right.

Barack Hussein Obama does not care about America that is plain for all to see.

As an American, I deeply resent having our President apologize for what he feels the nation has done wrong in the past. What other nation has ever felt the need to atone for their ‘sins’ throughout history?

Liberals are filled with an irrational guilt, and harbor a deep seated hatred for our lifestyle. Screw them all.

The picture (up there) of Obama is appalling. Merciful heavens, what is it going to take to make the people of this country wake up and realize what they’ve done? Is it any more obvious that this man hates America? I hope the GOP will use it effectively when 2012 rolls around.

I think it was pretty telling when Michelle 0bama said that for the first time in her adult life, she was proud of this country. I think that the exact opposite is true for many people. After 0bama got elected, I would wager that there are many more Americans who are now for the first time, not proud of their country.

0bama’s America is indeed a cowardly one. America now portrays extreme weakness on the international stage. 0bama is jetting around the world, bending and bowing to all sorts of foreign leaders on his global apology tour. His administration is soft on terrorists, they are ruining the economy, and they’re basically doing their best to turn the USA into a third world shithole.

Not halting, but the President did ask for things to ‘slow down’, especially since red tape is, once again, being found to be a culprit. Group A knew X, but didn’t share X with Group B, who knew Y, but didn’t share Y with Group C……. meanwhile unarmed soldiers and civilians were killed by a muslim terrorist who we’re not allowed to call a muslim terrorist.

    Water boarding is not torture?

OK, it was a war crime during the second world war. It was considered torture, byt the U.S. at the tokyo trials.

    snip

First, Ludwig, those US-soldiers were treated against the Geneva Convention. Terrorists are not under the umbrella of the convention.

Second, Ludwig, the cases of the Tokyo trials were different:

Regarding Those Claims About WWII Waterboarding

There were 5 cases where Japanese citizens (one was a Japanese civilian) were prosecuted for torture that INCLUDED as part of the torture charges “water torture.” The first problem is they were also charged with much worse things along with “water torture.” The second is that the “water torture” that took place then is not the same as CIA “waterboarding.”

    snip

The second problem with Kennedy’s statement is that the “water torture” wasn’t the same as CIA waterboarding…. Here are the actual charges….

Specification 1: That in or about July or August, 1943, the accused Yukio Asano, did willfully and unlawfully, brutally mistreat and torture Morris O. Killough, an American Prisoner of War, by beating and kicking him; by fastening him on a stretcher and pouring water up his nostrils.

Specification 2: That on or about 15 May, 1944, at Fukoka Prisoner of War Branch Camp Number 3, Kyushu, Japan, the accused Yukio Asano, did, willfully and unlawfully, brutally mistreat and torture Thomas B. Armitage, William O Cash and Munroe Dave Woodall, American Prisoners of War by beating and kicking them, by forcing water into their mouths and noses; and by pressing lighted cigarettes against their bodies.

He was pouring water DIRECTLY into their nose and mouth… When the CIA waterboards people, a rag is placed over the face to PREVENT water from entering the nose and mouth. This is a much harser and dangerous act. — In some of the other Japanese cases, the “water torture” included strapping people to ladders and dunking them face down into swimming pools until they passed out. This is not the same as waterboarding.

Daniel Pearl’s dad is sickened by Obama’s 9/11 trial decision

The father of slain Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl slammed the Obama administration’s decision to hold a public trial for admitted 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheik Mohammed — who boasted of killing his son in Pakistan.

Judea Pearl said he was “sick to the stomach” when he heard that the Justice Department decided to prosecute Mohammed in Manhattan federal court.

Makes a certain amount of sense. If you are only looking forward for progress, you might miss how all those ideas your building on top of are actually causing the problems you are trying to address.

    @ Speranza:

This is especially funny when maybe as much as 5/6 of the World are creationists of one stripe or another. I don’t recall the Buddhists of having much in the way of a creation “myth”, but all the other major religions are officially “Creationist” insofar as they teach the creation of the world by God, a god, or the gods/goddesses. Atheism is more of a Western thing. And even there is relatively recent in nature.

Progressives think the world is a static place (and are completely ignorant of history- they think their Ipod’s and cars and stuff spring out of the ground magically) and without their aggressive pushing nothing would ever improve. Conservatives think that the world progresses on it’s own as the human race evolves (metaphorically) to a higher knowledge level and that good ideas come into their own in their own time from the efforts on the inside, from the producers, that society finds it’s own balance, not one artificially imposed on it from the outside.

Liberals want to take a constant volume and mold it into the shape they want with no leakage but get all kinds of unwanted side-effects. Con’s let the river flow it’s natural course.

I said—a long time ago, in a blog far, far away—that most of the Presidents of the United States were probably “creationists.” And, further, that it doesn’t make a damn bit of difference if the President is today, as long as there is funding for federal science programs and the President knows how to stand tall in domestic and foreign policy.

    @ WrathofG-d:

    From the linked article:

A 20-year-old woman divorcee accused of committing adultery in Somalia has been stoned to death by Islamists in front of a crowd of about 200 people.

A judge working for the militant group al-Shabab said she had had an affair with an unmarried 29-year-old man.

Under al-Shabab’s interpretation of Sharia law, anyone who has ever been married – even a divorcee – who has an affair is liable to be found guilty of adultery, punishable by stoning to death.

An unmarried person who has sex before marriage is liable to be given 100 lashes.

She was stoned to death instead of receiving 100 lashes because she was divorced.

    Interesting system they’ve got there…
