Totalitarian Progressive and Imperialist Leaders meet

by Rodan ( 103 Comments › )
Filed under Ahmadinejad, Barack Obama, Venezuela at November 25th, 2009 - 1:00 pm

The Reactionary Imperialist Leader of Occupied Iran meets with Latin collaborator, Hugo Chavez.  The two leaders are meeting in Progressive Occupied Venezuela to plot their anti-American schemes.  They have in their favor a friendly regime in Washington that sympathizes with their causes.

IRAN

CARACAS — Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad arrived in Caracas for a meeting with President Hugo Chavez, just hours after the Iranian leader stopped in La Paz for a meeting with the Bolivian leader.

Ahmadinejad and Chavez, two outspoken anti-American leaders from major oil producing countries, will meet Wednesday with the goal of increasing bilateral cooperation, officials said.

Venezuelan Foreign Minister Nicolas Maduro welcomed Ahmadinejad at the airport, an AFP photographer reported.

An advance gathering of Iranian businessmen representing 70 companies prepared the ground in Venezuela’s capital Caracas on Monday for trade discussions.

“We have a solid foundation, a solid base that we have created over this decade in our relationship, and it shows how false are the attacks of the world empire,” Maduro said Monday, referring to the United States in comments broadcast by state television network VTV.

Attacks of the World Empire? These thugs are projecting as to their aims. Both the Tranzi Totalitarian Progressives and their Arabic Supremacist Imperialist allies are attempting to create a World Empire. The Progressive-Imperialist alliance even currently occupies this nation in the guise of their puppet, Barack Hussein Obama. Allies like Israel and Colombia are being thrown under the bus to please these two friends of Obama. The opposition in Iran and Venezuela are ignored and get no support from us.

Hugo Chavez and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad are disgusting figures on the world stage. Seeing them together reminds me of the last time a Latin (Italian) and Aryan (German) Dictator had an alliance. We all know what resulted from that evil relationship.

I loved the response to the email saying, “I used that trick to hide the decline,” that went sneeringly defended that “to scientists”, the word trick can mean a neat method, not a lie.

No kidding? And what innocent scientifical meaning is there to “hide?”

If you find that you agree with almost every political statement and idea made by megalomaniacal dictators who are enslaving their own people and threatening genocide, time to rethink how loving and peaceful your ideas really are.

For some reason I can’t understand any of the correspondences. Who do those “scientists” work for? I would imagine there aren’t many self employed scientists in the climate field.

This picture of Chavez and Ahmadinejad should make the blood of any American patriot run cold. Other than their hate for America, what do they have to talk about? Chavez is aiming to be the new Castro and Ahmadinejad has nuclear ambitions that are on the brink of achievement.

At least during the Cold War, the nukes were controlled by people with sense and MAD kept things, for the most part, in check. The Russians were not about to unleash Armageddon without provocation and the most serious threat was a “micommunication” that could start an unstoppable chain-reaction.

Now, we have (or soon will have) nukes in the hands of an apocolyptic madman such as Ahmadinejad and an unpredictable hermit state like North Korea. The world is far more dangerous and unmanageable than it once was. The proliferation genie is out of the bottle and there is simply no way to go back.

This paragraph struck me as curious:

An advance gathering of Iranian businessmen representing 70 companies prepared the ground in Venezuela’s capital Caracas on Monday for trade discussions.

What, exactly, does Iran have to trade? Certainly they have oil, but Venezuela is up to their ears in the stuff. Iran, like most Middle Eastern countries (sans Israel), has no real manufacturing base and no real exports, save oil……and, perhaps, nuclear technology.

Would Chavez like to be the new Cuba? Welcome back to 1962.

As clarification of my statement about Iranian exports :)

From the Tehran Times, November 9, 2009:

    Boost in Iran’s exports
    Tehran Times Economic Desk

TEHRAN — Ardeshir Mohammadi director of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) stated that Iranian exports from March to October has increased 25 percent.

Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting quoted Mohammadi saying 29.5 million tons of goods with a value of $13. 2 billion have been exported.

He said the exported goods include gas condensates, industrial and agricultural products, minerals, carpets, handicrafts and petrochemicals, adding that these goods were sent to Iraq, China, United Arab Emirates, India and Afghanistan.

IRICA director said that during this period 26.6 million tons worth $27.8 billion were imported in the country which shows a 17.7 percent decline compared to last year.

Mohammadi has travelled to Bushehr Province to check the customs situation there

Geez, if only the climate change had fact checkers this tough! :) :) :)

Does Obama want to lead US, or the UN?

President Barack Obama is dealing with a fairly typical decline in approval ratings. Like former president Ronald Reagan and despite media acknowledgment, George W. Bush, Obama has likely realized the problems of running a sprawling republic are not simple. But certain actions by Obama warrant questions as to intent. Is our commander-in-chief acting more like the leader of the UN than of the U.S.?

For starters, conservative media has, marching in unison, branded the president as “dithering” over Afghanistan. Old branded media has been gentle about this matter, refraining from listing war deaths on a regular basis in sharp contrast to the practice during the administration of Bush ‘43, and when troop deaths are listed, the total is used rather than the total since Obama took office. Why would the president delay a decision on a matter many Americans are passionate about and a matter his chosen advisers have made requests about? Does anyone really believe tolerating the Taliban is a good idea?

Then there’s the matter of climate change, formerly global warming and before that, global cooling. This week has produced the greatest scandal in modern science, with the Hadley hacking disclosing scientists colluding and perhaps lying about statistics and the impact of man-produced carbon emissions. Yet Obama focused on a “green memorandum” with India’s Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. Despite allegations of fabrication on the part of scientists and possibly the IPCC, Obama appears to believe the CC/GW/GC issue is settled even though proposed legislation will benefit developing nations and sledgehammer Main Street, USA.

Communism was only about the enslavement & deaths of hundreds of millions of people. Not such a big deal. Global Warming is about Polar Bears and Mama Earth. It’s worth a few carbon credits (hypocrisy alert) to blabber on about that.

So far Fox news seems to be the only source for the story. It’s possibly possibly bogus or or a half truth. Either way, the military does have guidelines that need to be followed. If those soldiers were out of line they should be punished accordingly. If I had to venture a guess about this story I’d say that Fox discovered that the suspect complained. There was probably an investigation. Charges probably weren’t even filed.

Yeah, I’ve never seen anyone quite as tone deaf as this guy. Unemployment at more than 10%, the economy in tatters, and he holds a state dinner – so large that they were unable to use the usual dining room. I know that State Dinners are part of the Kubuki dance, but why on such a massive scale?

It say’s “Imperial Presidency” to me and it’s offensive.

    Close, but not quite.

The order to give these 3 SEALs Article 15s came down from MNF-I, after an Iraqi government minister went to them and filed an official complaint.

There aren’t a lot of “PC officers” in USSOCOM.

Yes, I agree that State Dinners are part of the job, but during these difficult times the White House should be cutting back, not doubling down.

Actually, I read where the dining room only held something like 160-170 people – there were some 300 at this dinner, including a lot of the Hollywood glitterati. It must have set a record for state dinners.

As you said, at least some semblance of moderation would seem to have been in order.

No shit. A ‘PC officer’ in MNF-I. Nobody in the team structure would do a thing like that. The minister wouldn’t have tried this unless he thought he was going to gain some influence some where. And a year ago he’d have been ignored.

I absolutely believe that Obama would leave me or my fellow Soldiders twisting in the wind in a heartbeat if he thought it would get him a vote or two on some bill he wanted passed, or give him a few points in the polls.
