Jazz Guitarist’s latest theory disproven by Al-Qaeda

In not a shocking move, Al-Qaeda has claimed responsibility for the latest attempt of Imperial aggression. The faction of this Radical Organization doing this is Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula which is based in Yemen. Major Hassan via his contacts with Anwar Awlaki was affiliated with this organization. It is obvious Yemen is now the center of Al-Qaeda’s operations.

Al-Qaeda claimed the failed December 25 bombing of a US-bound aircraft in a statement picked up by US monitors Monday as the jihadists threatened attacks on Western targets and Yemen vowed no let-up in its campaign against them.

Al-Qaeda’s Arabian peninsula franchise acknowledged in the posting on the Internet that a “technical fault” had caused the failure of the plot against Friday’s Northwest Airlines flight from Amsterdam to Detroit, SITE Intelligence said.

It was obvious from beginiing this was a Jihadi plot, however one man alone didn’t believe it. Former Jazz Artist and Radical Maoist supporting blogger Charles “Icarus” Johnson on Saturday claimed he doubted Al-Qaeda was involved.

The more I read about this incident, the less I believe that it was really an Al Qaeda attack. It seems too poorly planned. And this wasn’t even a bomb — it was an incendiary device, which would have much less chance of actually destroying the plane.

I think this guy is BSing when he says he was sent by Al Qaeda.

As the fact have poured in and now Al-Qaeda taking claim, Icarus has been proven wrong again. He has not retracted his statement, instead he is now defending Janet Napolitano claims that the system worked. One problem, today she went on TV and admitted the system didn’t work.

From her own words, the system failed. Well Charles “Icarus” Johnson, your propaganda fails yet again. Just give it Icarus, your wings have melted yet again! Just do us all a favor, go back to playing Jazz Guitars!

Update: Here’s Hugo Chavez singing about a Turkey

Charles “Icarus” Johnson should play guitar for Hugo Chavez!

Update II: Here is a Chart showing the failure of Icarus’s new business plan.

Charles’s trouble is that he doesn’t really have any loyalties or ideals. He doesn’t believe in anything. And I say this as someone who once felt like that. I can recognize a fellow traveller who has no allegiance or loyalties. The fact that I missed it in my years of reading and commenting at 1.0 irks me but I figure it was due to CJs infrequent comments which deceived me of his true intentions and/or inner thoughts.

As far as not doing much damage, I saw a controlled explosion of what was supposed to have happened (and didn’t). It also pointed out that the terrorist was sitting in a seat located directly above one of the fuel tanks. Obviously, just the spot if you are going to start a fire.

I also read something earlier that caused me to go “Hmmm….”

They were sitting about 20 rows behind Abdulmutallab, in a center aisle with her husband and daughter a row ahead of her and their two new adopted children, a six-year-old girl and an eight-year-old boy.
Her daughter said that ahead of them was a man who videotaped the entire flight, including the attempted detonation.
“He sat up and videotaped the entire thing, very calmly,” said Patricia. “We do know that the FBI is looking for him intensely. Since then, we’ve heard nothing about it.”

We have an AMEDD officer in my unit who’s had his professional license pulled by the state for misconduct, and he was just promoted to LTC–after having been passed over 3 times previously.

Despite the fact Mr. Johnson’s politics were always left of center, he was always able to see the obvious when it came to the GWOT. He knew who the enemy was and made his name on being ahead of the curve on pointing it out to those who were less sure about the facts of radical Islam.
The last two major terrorist attacks against our country, the Ft. Hood attack and the failed Christmas day bombing, were dismissed by Mr. Johnson as something other than jihad against America.

Most of them do not believe, simply cannot believe, the AGW shills are really doing this. The one or two that have grasped what is going on are horrified. They were good liberals. They believed the AGW doctrine. But in baby-boomer speak, this has blown their minds.

    @ shadowman:

I got this from a comment at Atlas Shrugs.

“Funny that when Hotair posted a youtube video showing the power of these devices, he accused them of instructing their right wing lunatic readers about BOMB making. The video showed how an amount equal to the tip of a match can cause a watermelon to vaporize.
Charles accused Malkin and Breitbart of teaching bomb making.

Now he says it wasn’t a bomb.

So let me get this. CJ is an Al Queda expert.
Without even looking at the new evidence here s what we got:

A man from country A (Nigeria) with ties to country B (Yemen where his mother is from) living in country C (UK) boards a plane in country D (NL) to bomb that plane over country E(USA).

But this wasn’t a planned attack?

Then we have the investigation in the UK showing him tied to the East London mosque and the Yemeni Imam.

CJ is now so immersed in his defense of Islam and the Left that even Neapolitano gets his defense.
    http://littlegreenfootballs.com/article/35463_Outrageous_Outrage_of_the_Day-_Napolitano_Says_The_System_Worked

The only news he is aware of is what is posted on other sites, which he then dissects, critiques, distorts, mocks and posts under his own scornful ignorant mind.

    “Today Hotair posted this”

    Today SPencer said that

    Today Geller did this

    And what about LGF?

He spends days monitoring Hotair and Atlas to find nasty posts which he then makes his news of the day.

He is worse than Huffpost or KOS as at least they report the news and do not waste time stalking other sites.
CJ doesn’t follow the news anymore.
He is just obsessing on who dared criticize Gore and his global warming scam, who dared say G^d created the world and who was against gay marriage.

If you say Global warming is not man made, he calls u a denier and posts some article about some melted glacier. As if that was the argument. It wasn’t. It was about what caused it to melt not whether it melted or not.

Then he parades the Canadian Green Party who supports Hezbollah and who s members praised 911 and blamed Jews.
Then he posts that the Green leader denied supporting Hezbollah and “subject closed”.

    He has lost it.

He is like an obsessed stalker stalking Pamela and Michelle and even Sarah Palin with equal fervor than Andrew Sullivan.
He defends Maoists and 911 troothers. He posts articles attacking Rifqa Bary written by a child molester.

He has gone mad and is so high on his narcissism that he no longer sees his own madness.

He is now part of the radical left except that they actually have decently designed websites and discuss the news from their point of view. He is just a stalker now. No more no less. A pathetic baffoon in need of meds.

“Funny that when Hotair posted a youtube video showing the power of these devices, he accused them of instructing their right wing lunatic readers about BOMB making.”

Having seen the video in question, there is no mention at any time of which chemicals to use in the process, therefore the video does not indicate how the bomb is made.

Whereas johnson has actually posted useful real time information for islamists. It was to with video transfers, islamists did something in a certain way and that was how they got caught, put on trial and convicted before they could kill anyone.

Thanks to johnson any islamists reading the post he made, now know how to get around it and not to make the same mistake again.

Don’t feel bad. He fooled a lot of people including me. The fact that he provided a much needed forum for patriots, that he played a role (maybe not as significant as we originally thought in the Rathergate and fauxtography scandals) and his infrequent comments (which were patriotic and focused on the real threat to us) on his own blog, led us all to believe that he was something that he was not. We did not see the cynicism and opportunism (and yes mercenary ambition) that he had. He is ow everything that he used to loath from Sep. 2001 Nov. 2008. I pity the minions that he has now, they are following a loon!
Just look at the way he enables Sharmuta to throw her life away – that tells you right off the bat that he is not a good man.

I think the term “despicable” is the operative one to describe Chaz

Yesterday he had his spandex all in a bunch because people were claiming thet Obama called the Underwear Bomber a “Lone Extremist.”
Never mind that Obama actually said that. In CJ’s mind because he later said that “We will not rest until we find all involved….”
that somehow means that he didn’t actually say what he first said.

There will be thunder snow in Big Bend National Park today.

Hope Al Gore hears it clear this time.

Look at the way that he used Irish Rose, a clearly emotonally disturbed woman. He would at they very least give tacit approval to her ranting on other sites for him & then she would later have an emotional meltdown.
I agree with you, not a good guy.

    @ MrPaulRevere:
Thanos and his mea culpa reminds me of the show trials in Stalin’s USSR and in the Stalinist satellites after WWII in which the defendants were expected to confess, denounce themselves, and then ask to be put to death.

    @ RIX:
His pathetic cheerleading, apologizing, and spinning for OBama (who
he knows in his haert of hearts is a dud) is similar to the communist apologists we used to have here from the 1930’s – until the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989.

So many others of his following we can say the same thing about too – Killgore is another one with zero life who lives on the Internet scouring information to be used against conservatives from obscure websites. Don’t tell me that Killgore did not let Chaz know about his plans to drop racist “N” word bombs on Hot Air. If Charles really cared about people and his own integrity he would have ripped Killgore another ass and denounced what he did on the pages of his own blog – but he instead tried to spin and parse what the fool from Ory-gon did. Charles is a user and an increasingly disturbed man.
Also what Irish Rose did to this blog -getting it shut down for an hour showed fascist tendencies which he approved of.

When CJ went left he went all in, to the left of kos.
His problem is that he has no critical thinking skills or just refuses to actually sift through data.
His reactions are knee jerk with a generous portion of nuttiness.

    Mornin’ ya’all

The only tech that will make airlines safe is over 200 years old, handguns for passengers, works every time.

Oh, and since we have a NIC for a constitutionally protected activity, “to keep and bear arms” how ’bout a NIC for flying.

He obviously approved of what Kilgored did. CJ sees himself as a Che type leader in a cyber war.
He spends his days slopping down Cheetos, surfing the web trying to find “Outrages & Nontroversies” & taking thoroughy crappy photos.
To relax, by his own admission he plays video games.

Or the gruesome trials of Saddam Hussein. Ever watch the one where they are all sitting around a hall, listening to his screeds, sweating and weeping with relief when they were not called out?

Yes I’ve seen that many times. He is smoking a big fat stogie and faking tears. I saw Tarik Aziz sitting in the audience looking as if he was going to have an “accident”.

The only thing he has not done yet is throw Isral under his bus (because everyone has been predicting he will). You are right though – it seems as if he is doing all he can to win Moulitsis’s approval.

    @ Speranza:

He’ll never get it. Kos may be a jerkwad, but he’s a consistent and blogosphere savvy jerkwad – he has absolutely no use for Chaz, his posters, or his blog. I can’t figure out if Chaz thought if he pulled a 180 he’d be the “new big guy on the block” or not, but he’s being roundly ignored by the lefty blogosphere or openly mocked. Meanwhile, all the sites that WERE sending traffic to him – Powerline, Pajamas Media, Hot Air, Atlas, et al., have completely delinked him. Unless you already know LGF existed, you’d never be able to find it.

Which is just fucking FINE with me.
