Just saying hello to you all. I just registered with this site. I still go to LGF once in a while but rarely post anymore. Charles can be right on sometimes but as a Christian I really don’t feel welcome there anymore. It seems to me that the awards should be named for someone or something that doesn’t require an attached explanation of who/what the name means. Sure, many or most here now are familiar with Fallaci and Neda (I wasn’t) but I don’t think they’ll get much traction beyond.
All that said, shouldn’t there be a runoff of the top two names and then candidates in each category? Otherwise a winner could have only …say 22% of the total votes.
