    0 is anti-profit.

That’s why he’s trying to tax only banks that are making money.

GM will be essentially a non-profit by the time he’s done. Any profits they make will go towards opening a UAW staffed GM plant that will then offset the gain, but “create jobs.”

I just split an account into three small solvent non TARP bank’s MMs in two different states. BB&T and PNC lost my accounts as soon as they took the fed pill. I only recently broke it down further to give me greater access during any bank holidays that may insue. I will draw my max at the time and iimeadiately ramp up my longs on the three Bs. (Beans, Bandiads, and Bullets)

Our wage derived income only remains in the large regional TARP bank long enough to cover household expenses. We only use it because it facilitates checks clearing quicker from the income source, which is issued out of the same bank.

Then there are the bench mark trees and vectors on two properties leading to adhoc saftey deposit boxes for when they really get stupid.

Most of the Navy people I interact with have mixed feelings about being deployed. The Marines WANT to get out there and do what they were trained to do. And most of them, at least the enlisted, are my kids age. Very impressive.

    VDH nails it once again:

In short, we will have to experience a lot more upscale Awlakis until we admit that radical Islam is at war with us for who we are and what we represent rather than any oppression, poverty, or misery Americans purportedly inflict on the world — and are non-uniformed soldiers in an undeclared war rather than felons or “the other” with understandable grievances.

That man puts more intelligent thought into a blog post than most comentators put into a paid op-ed piece, or even a “well researched’ position paper. I don’t see how Charles’ decline escaped him, but LGF is really a small fish in the grand scheme of things.

According to the latest Public Policy poll, Republican state senator Scott Brown is up by five points, 51-46 percent. The poll notes that the lead is within the margin of error but reflects other recent polls showing Brown has a slim lead over Democratic state attorney general Martha Coakley

This was a telephone poll. Dem patronage workers will not tell a pollster that they are voting Republican. I would bet that the spread is greater.

I expect massive fraud, but I think that the margin might be to0 much to steal.
They will no doubt use every manuver to avoid seating Brown.
It will probably end up in the courts to force seating.

Yes, I was thinking something similar. If we are going to have a civil war, let’s get the damn thing going. Not yet, though, not really. I think we all are feeling something of this. We are going to lose an important, possibly critical, war because the Democrats are embarrassed by American power and want to see us taken down a peg, and there is nothing that we can do to stop it. It is very frustrating. We need to be saying, and saying loudly, how unacceptible it is.

Yes, if you want to lose a war, we question your patriotism. This needs to be said by our leaders. the Republicans need to get off their asses and really fight. That, too, is frustrating.
