Bill and Melinda Gates – Racists

This is even more disturbing than the money the Gates Foundation threw away on the Gaza greenhouses. This is a brief blurb from the National Policy Institute, a think tank in Augusta, GA., that, according to Wiki, describes itself as the right’s answer to the Southern Poverty Law Center.

Bill Gates has made his scholarship fund off limits to white teenagers. The Gates Millennium Scholarship fund is financed by a $1 Billion endowment Bill Gates made in 1999. The fund explicitly denies eligibility to white students.

“Students are eligible to be considered for a GMS scholarship if they: Are African American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian and Pacific Islander American, or Hispanic American;”

Yes, I know that there’s a such thing as the United Negro College Fund, and other such racially designated scholarships. But Mr. Gates made a point when he testified in front of congress that capitalism works because of meritocracy.

And let’s dispel one myth right now: Gates wasn’t just some middle class kid from Seattle. His father, from Harvard Law School, was a partner in Preston-Gates, one of the country’s largest and most prestigious law firms. His dad had a significant hand in growing Microsoft from a small business to a megacorporation through his contacts at IBM through Harvard. And he and Paul Allen went to a very upscale private high school where they had a minicomputer at a time when that was extremely rare. So I don’t take anything away from Mr. Gates for what he achieved, but it was hardly from a middle-class beginning.

Melinda Gates, of course, married into money. Tons of it. And she’s the moonbat of the two. This has her fingerprints all over it. Her famous accomplishments include the Microsoft Paperclip, and Microsoft Bob.

So both of these white people, living lifestyles that Roman Emperors would have killed for, want to make a scholarship available to Obama’s kids, but not Joe the plumber’s. That is racism, and the racism can’t be washed off of that. And in case it’s not completely obvious by inspection, let’s haul out the dictionary:

Main Entry: rac·ism

Pronunciation: \ˈrā-ˌsi-zəm also -ˌshi-\

Function: noun

1 : a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race

2 : racial prejudice or discrimination

This fits #2 squarely. Note also, FWIW, that criticism of the president doesn’t fit this. And it doesn’t fit a long list of other things routinely called racism, such as:

- Calling Michelle Obama a wookie.
- Calling loud, obnoxious people water buffalo.
- Criticizing criminals who are non-white.
- Criticizing politicians who want to go easy on criminals who are non-white.
- Criticizing a religion.

No, if it’s not #1, or #2, it’s not racism. And this move by the Gates Foundation is racism.

FWIW, SuSE Linux works wonderfully if you don’t need to run windows applications. And it’s free.

Hat Tip: Nevergiveup

Money is often wasted on the shockingly ignorant. This is racist without a doubt. It implies that one need only be white to have the door open for you, regardless of ability or economic status.

SO does this mean a German Argentine or Irish-Colombian can receive grants? They are Hispanic after all. My question is why is an Irish or German that is born in a Spanish country get grants but not a German or Irish in America?

    Can someone explain?

What I think happens with these guilt-ridden white people is they associate racial minorities with poverty, and they associate whiteness with themselves. They go to ritzy private schools, and on to ivy colleges, and never meet a white person who isn’t rich.

Well not quite. They see white janitors and white taxi drivers and white plumbers, but they just don’t register. They’re the real invisible people. If you’re rich and white, all whites are rich. They just see right through working-class whites like window glass. So when they try to structure something to benefit the poor, they see poor and minority as one and the same. Because Joe the plumber doesn’t exist. And neither do his kids. They’re just not there in Gates’ universe. The walking invisible.

I meant that collectively, but you’re point is dead-on. The Asians aren’t getting any “help” either, and in some cases, less qualified whites have been admitted ahead of more qualified Asians to make the numbers come out right.

What would be a disaster for the Jews now would be if they were set aside as a group rather than lumped in with “white”. If Jews could only be admitted in proportion to their percentage of the population, it would be worse than in the old days.

The irony is most Hispanics in the US I believe like 56% are biologically White! Spanish are very close to Italians Ethnically. In fact 15% of Latin Americans are Italian! So why does an Italian America can’t qualify, but their Spanish and Italian Latin American cousins can?

There is only one Answer, White Hispanics are inferior non Hispanic Whites!

This is proof of Progressive Racism towards what they perceive of as Non Whites. Hence the Nazis and New Left Progressives both agree in the concept of inferior and master races.

Hate to break the news to you, but this has been going on for a long time. When you fill out a form, you check a box. The clerk is frequently instructed to correct it if it’s been checked wrongly.

A Jewish friend of mine married a Black American. They had one son. The son was darkish-skinned, and looked North African (although many mistook him for Israeli, and some even mistook him for Dominican). The son married a Jew, and so their son, 1/4 black, and 3/4 Jewish is as white as his mother. From looking at him, there’s absolutely no sign of his having any African “blood” (other than the fact that they needed the extra-large tool at his bris). He may someday have to “prove” that he has a black grandfather.

There are “Israeli Silicon Valleys” both in Haifa and in Jerusalem, though the Haifa one is bigger. It’s not just Microsoft, it’s a lot of hardware companies, including Intel and AMD. Kind of around the corner from downtown and facing west.

It could have something to do with the fact that ebay’s founder is Iranian, but I thought he was pretty western.

The other thing is that maybe there’s a local alternative that drove them out. Israel’s a brutal market. Starbucks, for example, folded and left because they couldn’t compete with the locals.

Bill Gates is the person who claimed he needed to hire overseas because the workforce was not qualified enough in the US.

I had two white women friends in the military that both dated and married black guys. One did it and thought she was making an important political statement to everyone but herself. The other one because she was in love.

Bill Gates money has balloned his head into Michael Jackson looney land.

There are good high schools for at risk black kids in the US. His money is best spent emulating those. He could go build 4 dozens schools in haiti and staff them.

But excluding people who need help based on the color of their skin in this manner is liberal racism. And they approve of it.

His answer about the negatives only stated ebay will never again allow sellers to give negatives, and didn’t explain why. Really really bad policy change there because you really can’t determine who your selling to.

I don’t know what internal Chinese maps say about Israel, but I do remember that they claim the entire South China Sea down to the Malaysian provinces of Sarawak and Sabah, from the coast of Vietnam to the coast of the Philippines. Of course Taiwan falls within their territory as well. It’s jarring to see this map and realize that the Chi-Coms believe their territorial waters extend over 1000 miles to the south, while Malaysia’s extend only a few miles north.

Imagine if US maps showed our territory hugging the entire coast of the Yucatan; we’d be the imperialists of all time!
