Its half time, the Colts are in the lead by 4. The saints had a great second quarter. The second half should be good.
The Who did a brilliant halftime show.

We're not easily offended and don't want people to think they have to walk on eggshells around here (like at another place that shall remain nameless) but of course, there is a limit to everything.
Play nice!

While I like the old stuff by The Who, I’ve been listening to those tunes for 40 years. Wish they would come up with something new.

The Who are really old, their voices are hoarse, and they couldn’t sing — just yelled and screached. They’re a sad reflection of what they used to be.
However, I gots to admit the electrics, lasers, and fireworks were brilliant.

High efficiency traffic lights are being blamed for layer of ice and snow that completely covered stoplights across our area.
According to the West Bend Department of Public Works, ice built up over new high-efficiency LED fixtures installed in traffic lights. The LED traffic lights use substantially less electricity but do not give off enough heat to melt ice or snow.
That is a contrast to traditional traffic light bulbs that typically generated enough heat to melt ice and snow.

The Saints won! I watched a little of the game, but I’m not much of a football fan.
I did watch the Animal Planet “Puppy Bowl VI” special though. Very cute; came with a kitty half time show, hamsters in a blimp and bunny rabbit cheerleaders. They’ve been repeating this same episode all day and it’s on right now.

I rooted for Manning and the Colts but it ok…God had other plans for Peyton – maybe humility – who knows? It is a good story for N.O. a lot of good people gave to that city and what a blessing it is to have something to celebrate. It is easy to ascrive political ideology to a game of this magnitude. But at the end of the day, such attributions are kinda silly.
For my part I enjoyed the WHO – They gave what they had to give …and the Tebow ad, while refreshing was much ado about mothing – the census just made me ill. That is my money being squandered for Alinskyism – ugh!

I never thought that Hawaii would or could have a drought. All kidding aside, I do believe that reasonable water conservation needs to be a part of urban and rural development. However, I fear the government’s control over that resource as I think that it can and will be used as a political weapon. We have 2 houses in Texas and 1 in New Mexico and water is increasingly an issue in both states. I’m pretty sure that rainwater collection systems will be in any new upgrade budget.
