The Who are really old, their voices are hoarse, and they couldn’t sing — just yelled and screached. They’re a sad reflection of what they used to be.

Heh! Oops! The law of unintended consequences strikes again.

    snip-
High efficiency traffic lights are being blamed for layer of ice and snow that completely covered stoplights across our area.

According to the West Bend Department of Public Works, ice built up over new high-efficiency LED fixtures installed in traffic lights. The LED traffic lights use substantially less electricity but do not give off enough heat to melt ice or snow.

That is a contrast to traditional traffic light bulbs that typically generated enough heat to melt ice and snow.

It is a good story for N.O. a lot of good people gave to that city and what a blessing it is to have something to celebrate. It is easy to ascrive political ideology to a game of this magnitude. But at the end of the day, such attributions are kinda silly.

We have 2 houses in Texas and 1 in New Mexico and water is increasingly an issue in both states. I’m pretty sure that rainwater collection systems will be in any new upgrade budget.

Green Police: Who are they? Here is a quick primer.

Every day consumers around the globe are faced with a myriad of decisions in their quest to become more environmentally responsible citizens. Paper or plastic? Bottled water or tap water? Gas or electric? Compost Bucket or Recycling Bin? So many questions; yet so many conflicting answers. It can be overwhelming.
Now consumers have help, from the Green Police.

As part of the lead up to their third consecutive Super Bowl ad, Audi has created a fictional Green Police unit that are caricatures of today’s “green movement”. The Green Police are a humorous group of individuals that have joined forces in an effort to collectively help guide consumers to make the right decision when it comes to the environment. They’re not here to judge, merely to guide these decisions.

    its a joke?

    @ coldwarrior:

Right – the gov’t is tring to fly low under the radar by generating interst in this “activity” – they do not dare call it what is. All these agendas hidden in the persons doing the counting. It is a huge game of manipulation of numbers that will no doubt favor any person who is not legally here, is unemployed, has little hope to carry on one more day in the forsaken land if only, if only the US Census would redeem their existence and life by finding a usueful place for them in this new world of hope and change…Time to come out of the shadows lawbreakers, your Gov’t had a plan for you – perpetual emplyment continent upon your unending oath to vote for democrats. Sound fair? It is like the song Mother by Pink Floyd.

All in all a good weekend, the tea-party convention while not a complete thing of beuty did hit many high notes..Sara is very good in front of a big mike, just not the little microphones so much. To the extent that this movemenot grows organically and stays to pure to the values and foundatons of this nation, I believe there is hope – not hype, hope!

The fight continues, Everyday with BHO there is they say :some new fresh hell” – but Truth is on our side. November is far away. Bur these days matter. Never let a liar continue to lie. Obama will lie with impunity. I hope folks are not getting tired. There is much to be done. Not saying Sara is the candidate but we know the Crists and Foirinas are not (and Coates ? yuck) …Here is to bring hopeful and optimisitc :)

I think the heavenly endeavors we are called to strive towards for face us every day – if we are nor careful, gentle souls fall from our harnds before we a chance to tell them how grear God loves themamd wats them with him – loke I said: how much He loves us.

I had the game pretty much backwards! Congratz Saints fans. I was hoping they would win.

I seriously cheered against Indy for several games after they went 6-0. I watched many games where they came back and won… so I had to do a little reverse psychology on myself. It worked! Yay.

PS. The Colts owner is a jagoff. Rush Limbaugh was right (he picked N.O.). Yes!

u did have it backward, but you were the only one who made a prediction like that.
