Sorry, Husky Blogger

At Spitfire Murphy, LoppyD has some great links about the neurobiology professor (Amy Bishop) that went on a shooting rampage at the University of Alabama.

Sorry, Husky Blogger. The Nutty Professor Is A Far-Left Extremist

What’s this? A left-leaning, Harvard-educated professor lost her sh*t (for at least the second time) and went on a shooting rampage? But the Husky Blogger told me it’s always tea-bagging, racist, homophobic, right-wing extremists who commit such acts.

A family source said Bishop, a mother of four children – the youngest a third-grade boy – was a far-left political extremist who was “obsessed” with President Obama to the point of being off-putting.

I know the type.

There is an abundance. But I’m sure the husky blogger™ will be on the job exposing this BAD CRAZINESS!

Many thanks to Patricius for the image from this very fitting post.

Today he can only find fault with the right, he has assumed a tyrannical role on his site (with he and his acolytes fervently engaged in rooting out “bad craziness” in his threads and on other blogs), he’s viciously gone after his former allies, and he has garnered praise from many of the quarters he once condemned.

Yeah that about sums it all up.

I see on loppy’s blog that Evan Bayh is not running for re-election. Another pickup for the party that was supposed to be dying (as the pundits all claimed back in Nov. 2008).

  7. 7 | February 15, 2010 8:36 am

I don’t visit the BVoAF at home. Don’t want anything from there messing up my home machine. He just did one post about the Alabama shooting by the professor and that’s it. No follow ups, no relevations about her past, nothing. Of course if it was a tea party crazy there would be endless updates about that.

A caricature of the prophet as sus scrofa was published in Norway with the usual clamoring for attention.
I have seen the crucifix submerged in urine, and a number of Christs depicted as a chorus line on a characters nightstand in A Clockwork Orange, along with numerous other critical depictions of Christ and Christianity in general.
Pat Oliphant has depicted Israel as a dog pissing on Uncle Sam’s leg, and the muslim world’s propoganda cartoons depicting Jews and Israel would do Goebbels proud.

No thanks. But it will be funny when Johnson allows Walter to post heretofore disallowed information, disallowed I believe because it was hacked, and we all know that its not data, but how it is acquired that is important, like the Pentagon Papers, but I digress, to support his argument. Johnson will quickly shoot it down by linking to an old episode of South Park, or simply delete it. Maybe he will ban Walter, who knows. He is getting quite prickly with Walter.

If I was the head of Israel I would blanket Lebanon (if Hezbo starts a war) wth so much fire power from the Air and ground (Israel fought with one hand behind its back) that the Hezbos will be calling for a ceasefire in a day. Israel has so much firepower that it does not use. Hit them so hard with rockets, bombs, guided missiles, artillery shells that they blanket the entire country so that they are afraid to show their heads above ground.

Do you remember the debate on “hate crimes” during the 2000 election? Specifically they brought up the lynching of James Byrd. Bush pointed out that two of the three involved got the death penalty. The “hate crimes” people felt that wasn’t enough, but they were still aginst the death penalty. The Left make no sense on any issue.

Really hate using wiki but we’re pretty stingy in our use of the death penalty the last couple years.

There were 37 executions in 2008.[2] That is the lowest number since 1994[3] (largely due to lethal injection litigation).[4][5] There were 52 executions in the United States in 2009, 51 by lethal injection and 1 by electric chair (Virginia). Texas executed the largest number, 24, followed by Alabama with 6; Ohio 5; Virginia, Oklahoma, and Georgia 3; Florida, South Carolina and Tennessee 2; and Missouri and Indiana 1

Walter had, in my recollection, absolutely no problem with people who believe in G-d. He was not one of the evangelical atheists who were increasingly catered to by King Yertle—and, indeed, he displayed quite a bit of intelligent theological knowledge on more than one occasion.

It’s one thing to slag King Yertle and the people with whom he has decided to cast his lot. It’s another thing to slag those few who, for whatever reasons of their own, have spent some effort to call attention to his more egregious howlers, and have had the skill and the fortitude to continue doing so while evading Yertle’s bouts of banning madness.

That many people here got sick of trying to provide a countervailing voice is no reason to slag those few brave souls who still do. It may be pointless on their part, but that’s their choice—and isn’t “conservatism” about respecting other people’s choices if they are not harmful to the world at large?

And, in that mode, I confess that I occasionally joined the chorus of insults directed here.

Those who are still there, for whatever reason, may find it politic to do the same in the larger interest of being able to remain there as contrarians; by appeasing Yertle on this score, they avoid his wrath for disagreeing with him.

I wouldn’t presume to know; frankly, I don’t care. I’m saying that I enjoyed conversing with Walter, with Mandy, and with a few others who were still there when I left and may yet be—and that as people, I would enjoy conversing with them still were they here, or anywhere else I might post. Actually, while they do believe that, it’s really not that important. They simply believe that they’re entitled to rule, by virtue of class. Whether they’re smarter or not is just details.

Does anyone else find the aristocratic pretensions of these people as annoying as I do? Especially when you consider that like the rest of us — they are the grandchildren or great grandchildren of farmers, coal miners, pushcart peddlers, blacksmiths, sandhogs, itinerant oddjobsmen and the like. In most cases, their “superiority” comes from the good luck of having a parent who made enough bucks to send them to an expensive university.

While I like Mandy Manners. A lot of her “friends” have left 1.0. I felt bad when people I liked were mistreated badly and left.

So Mandy is either Sharmuta infatuated with Charles and loves the controlling aspect he projects onto the blog. Or she doesn’t really care for online friends and the innuendo is more important to her then the person. It’s also hard for people with a high post count or a lot of dings to depart. they eventually do though and realize it was not something to be valued.

I respect her a lot for going to church and raising the kid. LGF1.0 is definitely not what it once was. The gestalt that was there has left.

Actually, not doing it JIT is even worse. KIA has been renting every square foot of parking space in the Port of Tacoma, and there are thousands of cars there. At some point, they won’t be able to rent any more parking space, and then they will have to slow the factory down. JIT would have saved then the train wreck they’re going to face when that day of reckoning finally comes.

I’m merely pointing out that a lot of folks here were wondering aloud—sometimes profanely—why I was still hangin’ at Yertle’s after they themselves had left or been given the heave. Well, I had my reasons; one of which was that it took a hell of a long time to transcribe what I wanted to save (fortunate, in that Yertle nuked my posts when I left), another of which was that frankly there was, for a while, a certain pleasure in mixing it up with the rockheaded ideologues he was importing. In the end, that game was no longer worth the candle, but there was a certain King Canute-like pleasure, for a time, in fighting the tide.

I would not presume to dump on someone whose tolerance in that regard exceeds mine, for I understand the impulse, which is not only that of the matador reveling in his skill at sidestepping the horns of charging bullshit, but also the hope that one may, just perhaps, cause someone to see things in a new and saner light.

One of the last arguments I had over there was about Shawna Forde, the psycho hooker and her meth fried child killer friend who had started a Minuteman group after getting booted from another. Somehow they couldn’t be just murderous dogs. They had to be right wing militiamen who loved their guns and opposed immigration and just got back from the war. Robbing drug dealers and killing kids to fund their political cause. Turned out she’s a hooker and he a druggy with no ties to anything military. Their political cause was themselves.

Olympic contortions are to be expected, but they ignoring that said moonbat has the typical the world owes me mentality.

This is the same genius who was sure that the underwear bomber had absolutely no connection to Islam or al qaeda

He has a track record of being consistently wrong and in being very confident that he is correct.

    You should.

Texas purchases its textbooks statewide, as does California. These two huge markets cause most textbook publishers to slant their textbooks towards the preferences of these schoolboards, so if Texas were to decide to teach, say, that white people were produced as an experiment by the mad scientist Yacub (as the Nation of Islam believes) there is a good chance that most of the textbooks available throughout the country would carry this as part of the text.

And yet, we suck a lot less than California, except they have better surf than we do.

Oh, and we don’t have Charlie effin Johnson in our state, so that makes up for the lack of surf.

If Charles Johnson croaked tomorrow, another would take his place, and yet, I would still feel a sense of pride that that little seatless bicycle rider would stand in front of the Pearly Gates, watching incredulously as St. Peter laughs his ass off.

…and for the record…since the dancing clown doesn’t live in Texas (thank God), maybe he shouldn’t worry so much about what we do. Maybe he should worry about what Ah-nuld and the Dems are doing to his state.

I doubt seriously that he would. He loves him some Chas Johnson.

He’ll fold. He’d rather be part of the Johnson crowd than be accurate.

Hi guys and gals, I have been laying low here, fighting moonbats
in close quarters and generally getting my head handed to me and banned for life from yet another site.
Just so you know what I’ve been up to.
I was also trying to sharpen my writing skils but only really sharpened my tongue-like-a-knife.
So that episode is over and I am just about ready to be more attentive here, and thanks for the opportunity.
Anyhow to stray close to a topic, I took look at the some-other-blog, and I see that Walter chap twisting in the wind.
Whatever he was going to do, has been preceeded by a barrage of lizardoid warmistprop, and he
seems to be less sure than he was about making his magnum opus anti-AGW possible flounce.
And hi m love the Dimple.

joined here and then got banned at SelrahC’s place.

yes indeed. and those bastages got off with no charges last i heard!

so, what would you do if you showed up at your polling location and there were black panthers with billy clubs there? this question is open to anyone. i’m curious what would be the best course of action.

I’d introduce them to Mr. Mossberg. And I’m not talking about the bearded guy who writes the tech column for the WSJ.

I don’t think you are going to be banned Walter, but some others think so little of LGF that they feel you will, total Charles derangement syndrome.

Who? I asked above, which blog.

No matter what I do or say to Charles or other Lizards here, I consider this blog to be my home, whether these other people out in blog-o-land like it or not.

One of the most entertaining things about this item will be to watch Johnson try to ignore the various truths that will out.

But a much more entertaining show will be to watch him have to, on a daily basis, shovel his bullshit against the incoming tide of Climategate melt-down. For that I’m taking out the lawn chair, microwaving the popcorn, and cracking a cold one.

(Humm, I think I’ll make that an sidebar item.)

Well, let me reconsider. On a day that Evan Bayh has decided to not run and that AGW has been proven to be a hoax and I was waiting for Walter to publish his long awaited treatise, do I care about what the Texas School Board does? Theoretically if textbook publishers decide to publish bullshit so schools will buy the books in Texas therefore having books in my state that are full of shit, then sure I care. Realistically, though, I’ve thought about it and I don’t really give a shit what they do in Texas.

  406. 408 | February 15, 2010 4:51 pm

Interesting. Notice that the whole front page of LGF is lacking in a precious bad photograph by Charles? Was it something I said? Seems about time for him to quietly tip-toe away from posting those embarrassing images.

[Psst... now Charles, don't go posting one just to prove I was wrong. We're onto you down here.]
