The New Left Progressives: A summary

by Rodan ( 95 Comments › )
Filed under Barack Obama, Democratic Party, Liberal Fascism, Progressives at March 7th, 2010 - 7:00 pm

The Progressive Movement of the early 2000′s did not spring out of nowhere. It is the culmination of a series of events that began with the French Revolution. Then Marxism appeared and spawned the Totalitarian Ideologies of Communism, Maoism, Nazism and the New Left. Who is the New Left you may ask. Well, I will try to be short and brief.

The Origins of the New Left are cloudy but clearly they come out of Marxism. At first considered a few radicals, they quickly emerged to become a disruptive force on college campuses. Their main arm during this time period was the Students for a Democratic Society. This radical group which was confounded by Tom Hayden and Alan Haber was against the Cold War and began to organize against our growing involvement in Vietnam. As the war escalated so did their protests. They went on to create the counter culture which rejected the traditional Judeo-Christian values and lead to a breakdown in our society. They used the tactics of Saul Alinsky to smear and demonize their opponents.

The New Left also openly supported the NVA/VC during the Vietnam War. This was due to the New Left’s support of the 3rd World Liberation Movement. The Progressives fell in love with this movement after the Cuban Revolution. Che Guevara and Castro became icons to them and links were made with Cuba during this time period. The Progressives fell in love with thugs like Idid Amin and Mugabe. They also began to  support the PLO and this is where the modern Leftist Islamic alliance was formed. The effects of this alliance are felt to this day as Islam has become the one Religion that is not allowed to be insulted. Palestine has become a cool, hip cause for these people.

Terrorism was the hallmark of the New Left. In imitation of Che Guevara and Mao Zedong, the Weather Underground was formed. This group, which had a Maoist Ideology, began a terror campaign that would have made Che proud. One of the leading figures in this movement was Bill Ayers. Ayers, as we later learned, helped launch Obama’s career. It’s no coincidence that Obama has many in his administration who admire Mao. They also allied with the Black Panthers in hope of formenting a broader revolution. Around the early 80′s they decided to infiltrate institutions. As we shall see, they succeeded.

The Administration of Barack Hussein Obama is the culmination of the New Left movement. His election was made possible through a sustained forty year attack on our culture, education system and government. Obama is implementing the Progressive agenda that the SDS envisioned. His appeasement of Islamo-Imperialism and support for 3rd World Dictators are clearly New Left.

There will be more posts on the New Left, this is just a summary for our discussions.

    OT:

John Patrick Bedell, Pentagon shooter, is the latest nutcase the MSM (and Charles Johnson) is trying brand as one of ‘those tea-party radicals’. The MSM doesn’t want people to know that Bedell was a registered Democrat… and maybe the MSM is hiding something else about Bedell.

The MSM originally reported that he “uttered something before opening fire” — but reports now simply states he did not say a word. Why the change? Could the MSM be covering up the fact that Bedell might have said “Allahu Akbar“:

A Twitter post revealed that John Patrick Bedell had an account on SourceForge containing “Jihad code.” Looking at the account of jpbedell – he used the Arabic term “inshallah” or “God willing,” using Arabic font – “إن شاء الله” – on more than one page. Here are screenshots from the website and project named “openinsurgent.”

I remember the Trolly Square shooter in Salt Lake City. The media also covered up the fact that he screamed “Allahu Akbar”. There was an Egpytian Air crash earlier in which the pilot also said “Allahu Akbar”, preserved on the flight recorder — and the media covered it up too. The Fort Hood murderer also shouted it, but that was not covered up (maybe too many witnesses?).

While CJ and this other left wing nutjob are talking to each other, they seem to have NO AWARENESS WHATSOEVER about Zero’s political troubles.

Zero has been crashing and burning all year and yet all these guys see is the right wing supposedly dying before their eyes.

Do they read any news that isn’t hateful toward the right?

Don’t they know what’s been happening to the Dems this year?

Do they know that Teddy Kennedy’s old office in the Senate has an anti-health care Republican sitting in it (with all its plushness)?

They see this as the right wing dying?

Do they puke when they’re alone from the pressure of trying to hide their fear while they stand up spewing lies about how liberalism is supposedly growing in the polls?

Usually they figure it out though around 30ish. The majority doesn’t vote until then because by that time they’re vested and uncle Sam is starting to dig into their pockets.

Young voters are also very unreliable when it comes to showing up at the polls unless something really grabs their interest. They may or may not notice that Zero and the Dems are aiming to hurt them more than almost anyone when it comes to trying to bill healthy young people for the Dems’ trillion dollar health care plan, but they don’t tend to show up to vote all that much while they’re young anyway.

The voters that everyone needs are the independents and these voters have been falling away from Zero and the Dems ALL YEAR LONG.

CJ and his fellow left wing nutjobs are ignoring what’s going on and laughing as if liberalism is a huge growing success. Exactly the opposite is actually happening.

Also, when CJ talks about his former “readers” being mostly Christian creationists, he’s ignoring the HUGE Jewish population that he had on his little green blog.

We Jews were tripping over each other all over the green blog. We had Jewish posters writing from Israel, too. Sometimes in Hebrew! They were on the night shift quite a bit (daytime for them and night for us in America).

As you pointed out recently, Rodan, the majority of writers on the Blogmocracy are Jewish.

Conservative Jews are a huge, huge presence in the conservative blogosphere (especially considering that we’re a tiny people within the human population of the planet).

CJ is pretending we never existed.

He acts like he never heard of us although a huge portion of his own posts (once upon a time) were about Israel.

Bad weirdness going on in that guy’s head.

    @ Eliana:

He turned off a lot of atheists with the Christian bashing, too. ;)

He was being unreasonable to most of his “readers.”

He was hunting down local stories that that were nowhere near being national news and acting like the world was ending because of school board meetings in little towns.

It’s only recently that people have turned away from going to church – to pretend that people of faith had nothing to do with science, great advancements (including going to the moon), nothing to do with all of the amazing and wonderful things that mankind has accomplished – it’s mind boggling – and it was the reason for some of the heated discussion on his blog. He didn’t want to hear it, but it was those “repressed” hated evil rotten stinking “Chrissssstians” that brought us much of what he enjoys and takes for granted today.

And many of them were also the people who studied archeology, promoted the theory of evolution, deepened our understanding of it, revised the info as they learned more – and still kept their faiths. there is nothing to fault – and yet to watch those two heap scorn on good people – it is revolting. Calling them elitist pricks isn’t good enough. Wretched, sad souls. That’s all.

“Live and let live” is exactly what we do believe in – and what the “regressives” try to squash at every turn.

As I put it some time ago, it is as though he is following instructions written in day-glo orange on the inside of his forehead. He is really, really whacked.
