English Defence League First Hand Reports

Filed under British Islamic Jihadists, Geert Wilders, Guest Post, Islamic Invasion, UK at March 13th, 2010 - 12:30 pm

Saturday afternoon in the blogsphere…and an open thread with vids! There will be more to come from the EDL as the situation in UK develops.

Our EDL friends have sent us some videos from the London demonstration March 5th, so get a beverage of your choice , and enjoy some first hand looks at the March to support Geert Wilders:

EDL says: “Thanks for everything you have done for us mate we really have taken off like never before. Just thought id send you some of my favorites…..

http://qik.com/video/5292697

Am i an Nazi? You’re not singing any more!

http://qik.com/video/5292747

A lovely lady i met at the demo……

http://qik.com/video/5293436

Sit down shut up!…

V is for victory….

Nazi scum off our streets…..

http://qik.com/video/5292804

Communist UAF outside parliament…..

Again thanks to everyone.”

And Thank You, EDL…we are with you.

The March’s after actions report.

UPDATE, from EDL:

As many of you already know, the EDL has growing gay support comprised of people who are, like the rest of us, proud of our culture and heritage, but also especially concerned about the particularly virulent hatred that the Islamists reserve for gays. Islamic preachers have been filmed here in Britain calling for the execution of homosexuals, yet have faced little of the public outrage that is instead directed towards those who highlight the danger of this intolerance. We only expect our homosexual support to grow, based on the fact that the institutional left seems to be abandoning support for gay rights in the never-ending quest to appease their Islamist allies.

It has long been clear that the left has abandoned the Jews, whose rights they previously fought for, in order to secure support among Europe’s growing and increasingly-radicalised Muslim population, in which anti-Semitism is regrettably mainstream. This was driven home most strikingly when it was revealed that Jews who sought shelter in Sweden after the Second World War are now fleeing again, this time from Islamic attacks aided and abetted by the leftist government.

It now seems that, just like with the Jews, the left is unwilling to confront the fact that the main threat to the rights and freedoms of homosexual Britons comes from the Islamists and the blatantly and violently homophobic Sharia law that they promote. A gay EDL supporter and long-time member of the RMT transport union was threatened with expulsion from his union after writing his Regional Secretary to ask why the RMT played such a role in organising the pro-Islamisation and anti-free speech protests that greeted Geert Wilders’s visit to London and the EDL’s march in support. As the EDL member—who has now resigned in disgust from the RMT—put it:

“The EDL is an organisation opposed to the Islamification of Britain and further introduction of Sharia Law. As a gay man I feel very threatened by certain aspects of Sharia Law, and that’s why I fully support the efforts of the EDL.”

In the letter to the Regional Secretary, he also shared his bewilderment over how on earth he could be called a ‘Nazi’ and a “fascist,” as he was on Friday the 5th by people waving the RMT flag, for standing up with fellow Englishmen of all colours and from all walks of life against the far-right Sharia law that threatens his ability to live without fear as a gay man with equal rights.

As the left alienates more and more of their traditional support by making more and more concessions to the intolerance and hatred of the Islamists, they will find that when their Islamist allies eventually turn on them—as in the famous poem—no one will be left to speak up for them.

This is what the world needs. An open confrontation with Islam on the medieval nature of that religion. What’s missing is the pushback. The pushback needs to be instigated at every level of society so that people come to realize the unhealthy nature of islam.

Some of the vids here have repeated url’s. The one with the lady is the same in the link below it.

They have nothing as an alternative and what’s worse is they do not want one.

All nations in Europe are facing the same horrendous threat, their is a programme of eradication of homogenous national identities going on throughout Europe. All the countries of Europe are being destabilised in this way. This isn’t quite ethnic cleansing but it is national identity cleansing so we all end up sucking milk from the big fat corrupt cow of the EU !! The UK and England in particular are being targeted first and hardest as we are the population with the most obvious and vocal dislike of the EU.

I wouldn’t ask to strong for the motive of the EDL. And I wouldn’t ask to strong most of the EDL-protesters what the protest was all about ;-) They would marsch for everything if their president of the club would tell them to do so.

Its a mistake to automatically associate anti-Israel sentiment with anti-semitism. People can differentiate the race from the nation.

I have yet to find honest antiIsrael sentiment not steeped in anti Semiticism as soon as you scratch a bit deeper. Easy to spot, double standards applied only to Israel. Which does not mean you can’t criticize specific Israeli policies or activities, I do myself, but in general antiIsrael=antiSemitic.

I’ve played enough in the pigpen for one day.

Now back to our regularly scheduled program.

Hey Justin, the Catholic Church has done its utmost to destroy itself for a long time. It has nothing to say against Islam. The only Christians who are doing anything in this regard are the Evangelicals. Meantime, Christians all over the Muslim world are being butchered.

It is certainly good news that gays are becoming supporters of the EDL. With a broad-based coalition, the EDL is far less likely to be called fascists, or to really be fascists. We can have a lot of disagreements among ourselves, but we can all agree that Islam must be rolled back.

Abuse Scandal in Germany Edges Closer to Pope

I can count on one hand the number of stories I’ve read about priests molesting young girls, which is the usual pattern for pedophiles. It’s almost always early teen boys.

Child Abuse Scandal Reaches Catholic Church, Pope

It often starts as a voice in the wilderness, but can swell into an entire nation’s demand for truth. From Ireland to Germany, Europe’s many victims of child abuse in the Roman Catholic church are finally breaking social taboos and confronting the clergy to face its demons.

Ireland was the first in Europe to confront the church’s worldwide custom of shielding pedophile priests from the law and public scandal. Now that legacy of suppressed childhood horror is being confronted in other parts of the Continent — nowhere more poignantly than in Germany, the homeland of Pope Benedict XVI.

The recent spread of claims into the Netherlands, Austria and Italy has analysts and churchmen wondering how deep the scandal runs, which nation will be touched next, and whether a tide of lawsuits will force European dioceses to declare bankruptcy like join their American cousins.

Just like the Army, the Catholic Church is a hierarchical and highly bureaucratized organization. This makes it easy to solve personnel problems by transferring people.

Just as there’s a shortage of psychiatrists in the Army, there’s a shortage of priests worldwide. In both cases, the organization is reluctant to get rid of people it sees as valuable resources in short supply, so it overlooks their behavior.

Don’t get me wrong, I have a strong affinity for the UK, Ireland, England and Europe in general (France has always been a bit problematic for me, but I’m working on it). They are definitely being Islamicized from within and, as Wonderdog alluded a while back, the vaunted EU is more of a help than a hinderance to that unfortunate process.

What concerns me is that the more the Islamicization progresses, the more radical the counter-process will have to be. I applaud the EDL in their attempt to preserve mother England.

Alas, I think that Mark Steyn may well be correct that plummeting birth rates among Europeans, combined with skyrcketing birth rates among the Mohammadens may well seal their fate.

As an aside, what I have never understood is why any American would want to emulate any part of the European political system, social system, health care system, welfare system or any other system that they have, particularly their taxation system. It seems to me that many of these systems have made them particularly ripe for the picking and have been major contributors to their current woes.

Instead of emulating them, maybe we should see their predicament as a cautionary tale.

Are there pedophiles in the Catholic Preisthood? I think there have been too many absolute admissions to deny that. I do not think that it is as widespread as some would lead us to believe. Yes, the Church has handled these cases badly; they should have been investigated and the perps turned over to the authorities.

My point was that the term pedophile has a specific meaning in the minds of the average American. You know that as well as I do (and as well as the editors at most of our media outlets do).

The victims of classic pedophiles are girls under the age of about 10. That’s the mental picture people get when they hear that word.

They don’t think of men having sex with 14 year old boys, which is closer to the reality of most of these cases.

    Yeah, that’s my thought too.

As to the worry that any given pro-English group in England is going to descend into racism, antiSemitism and general obnoxitude, I share it. I opposed the BNP for similar reasons. As I recall what we were all hoping for, in the UK, was a group which was serious about opposing Islam but without the opportunists, Jew-haters and fascists. Obviously the BNP is not that group.

The EDL might not be that group either, but it is a step in that direction.

The EDL probably DO have a few NF and BNP sympathisers in their ranks (although I suspect it’ll be easier to find Hamas sympathisers in a Liberal Democratic Party caucus). The good news is, if the BNP louts are having to march alongside Sikhs, Hindus, Jews and gays then there’s a chance that they’ll wise up. Either that or the organisers of the EDL will eject the louts, and a good deal faster than the LDP will eject Islamists.

The EDL is young yet, and we’ll see what happens. But I will repeat this much: if not the EDL, then what sort of pro-English group would you support?

    @ jimash:

It seems to be a more general human trait than just a homosexual one. The urge to seek out younger mates increases the likelihood of a man producing more offspring. If they’re gay, that tendency to seek out youth will be transferred onto the object of their sexual desire. The problem is when the urge misfires and they see prepubescent children or immature teens as desirable mates.

His brother is also involved.

Davy Cooling: A 26-year-old known Luton football hooligan who now lives in Daventry, Cooling originates from Northern Ireland. He is a BNP member and registered his interest in attending the BNP’s Red, White and Blue festival in August. Cooling administers the Luton EDL Facebook page.

Jeff Marsh: A 44-year-old convicted football hooligan from Barry, South Wales, Marsh is a Cardiff supporter and has been jailed three times for violence, including a two-year sentence for stabbing two Manchester United fans. He claims to have a degree in criminal justice and has written a book on Welsh hooliganism. He set up the English and Welsh Defence League but appears to be less influential in the current EDL. That’s a specific thing. “Twinkies”- young boys- still pedophelia. But I would have to see some kind of study proving it’s more than in the heterosexual population before I would believe it.

    Actually- in the general population:

Roughly 33% of girls and 14% of boys are molested before the age of 18

So heterosexual pedophelia is more prevelant.

Maybe because the men have more access to boys than the girls in the church is why statistically there have been more cases of the young boy thing in this particular instance. I dunno.

I just think it’s too broad of a brush to say gays are the reason for that scandal. Gay pedophiles, yes. Just regular gay men – I personally don’t believe it.

Lancaster Unity: Nazi Protestors are definitely EDL

The EDL Welsh division – the Welsh Defence League – was founded by convicted knife criminal and Cardiff City hooligan Jeff Marsh (who was jailed for stabbing 2 Manchester United fans and recently banned from football grounds for 5 years). Jeff Marsh helps organise EDL protests through a hooligan group called Casuals United. When the EDL and WDL marched together in Swansea on 17 Oct 2009, they chanted “BNP BNP BNP”, gave Nazi salutes and burned an Anti-Nazi flag. So, realising the EDL’s credibility as an allegedly non-racist group was totally blown, the EDL pretended their Swansea march had been “hijacked” by infiltrators from the Nazi group Combat 18. However (in an act of awesome political stupidity) on 7 March 2010 Casuals United published a photo on their own blog of the WDL which proves that the Nazis who’d protested in Swansea definitely were members of the WDL (see video)… talk about an own flippin’ goal! Since then Jeff Marsh published a video of the EDL chanting “BNP BNP BNP” in Stoke (1) and EDL co-founder Paul Ray admitted that BNP activist Chris Renton is now (quote) “de-facto Commander of the EDL” (2)

Or the were intelligent enough not to give them attention since this is exactly what the EDL wants ?
Do you see the EDL as your personal proxy to fight with Muslims

or, and more likely, the muzz were yet again all talk and no action when confronted.

not a proxy, just an extension and continuation of past actions.

    @ m:

More opportunity. Most molestation is by an immediate family member or close relative rather than by a stranger. With a family member the distorted trust relationship between the molester and his victim usually makes it very hard for the victim to come escape or prevent the attack occuring, and makes it hard for others to realise anything is wrong, whereas when a stranger makes an attack it’s usually noticed very quickly, leading to the attacker being dealt with before he can do too much damage.

With priests you have a confluence of circumstances that create a trust relationship even more powerful than that found in a family. One thing that this has raised is the issue of celibacy in the roman church, which I believe leads to many of the problems. Not only that but by my understanding it isn’t even scripturally sound to enforce this sort of celibacy.

You dismiss my people as mere hooligans and thugs, you criticise any attempt we make to stand up for ourselves. If I were a betting man I’d lay pretty good odds that you simply don’t like us.

I’ve read on some of the Catholic blogs that if they’re forced to perform abortions, they will close. That’s 600+ hospitals. Under canon law, the Church can’t resell the hospitals to someone else because that would be material cooperation with evil. These hospitals deal alot with the poor.

    Child Molestation Statistics
    Girls 3-4 out of 10
    Boys 1/6

    Or this one:

1 in 4 girls is sexually abused before the age of 18. (96)
1 in 6 boys is sexually abused before the age of 18. (96)
1 in 5 children are solicited sexually while on the internet. (30, 87)

I think the EDL means well but I think we should be careful and make sure that no one in the EDL holds racist views. I’m sure most don’t but they should make sure to expel anyone who does. BTW, I’ve heard they do accept people of differing races. I hope that they can get rid of sharia law in Britain.

    Anti-Semitic legislation started 1937.

‘Mussolini: I’ll build an island and put all the Jews there’

Italian dictator Benito Mussolini was a rabid anti-Semite who called Adolf Hitler “a big romantic” and despised the pope, a new book of his mistress Claretta Petacci’s diaries revealed, AFP reported on Monday.

The Corriere della Sera daily reportedly published extracts of the book “Secret Mussolini,” taken from diaries written between 1932 and 1938, on Monday two days before it hits Italian book shops.

While on a boating trip on August 4, 1938, Mussolini talked about the German dictator’s new anti-Semitic laws with his mistress, saying “I’ve been racist since 1921,” according to AFP.

“I don’t know how they can think that I’m imitating Hitler, he wasn’t born yet…” he was quoted as saying. “We must give Italians a feeling of race so that they don’t create half-castes, so that they don’t spoil what is beautiful about us.”

Two months later, on October 11, Mussolini is again at sea with Petacci, when he was quoted as saying: “Those bloody Jews, they should be destroyed … I’ll build an island and put them all there… They don’t even have any gratitude, recognition, not even a letter of thanks… They say we need them, their money, their help.”

Your first link has this quote with no source:

The statistics say that one out of every three to four girls has been sexually assaulted by the age of 18. One boy out of every six will be abused by the age of 18.

The second link lists 96 references, many referring to duplicate authors, and without direct links to any legitimate source for the statistics.
Your third link quotes the studies of others, and implies that the statistics were gleaned from world wide surveys as the word “pandemic” is prominent.

I’m not butting heads with you on this, and I abhor those who promote and perpetrate pedophilia, as some in the middle east and third world countries do.

I dispute the percentages posted without backup. Do not forget that there are many instances of false accusation as well. I know of several, but I also know no one who claims to have been molested as a child.
