Obamacare is about Ideology

by Rodan ( 119 Comments › )
Filed under Barack Obama, Democratic Party, Economy, Elections 2010, Liberal Fascism, Progressives at March 18th, 2010 - 6:42 am

Good morning Blogmocracy Netizens!

It’s crunch time with the Eugenics based Obamacare. Instead of following regular procedures for a change of this magnitude, the Progressives are using tricks. They are using reconciliation, which is a budget process to implement their health care agenda. This is unprecedented for a change of this size. Even with the polls showing the American public not wanting this Totalitarian reform, they are going ahead anyway. Clearly for the Leftist Democrats, this is about Ideology not politics.

Congress’s latest final push in its ideological crusade called health reform is shaping up to be an act of historic arrogance and deception.

For months, the American people have been telling Congress to scrap the current bills. A recent CNN poll found that 7 in 10 Americans want Congress to start over on health care, or quit working on the issue altogether. Yet, the majority in Congress continues to march on in the face of overwhelming public opposition.

Read the rest: Op-Ed: Health bill is malpractice

Never has the Government gone against the will of the American people in this blatant way. This clearly confirms the Neo-Feudal attitude of the New Left. They will stop at nothing to implement Obamacare, it is the way to achieve their long cherish goal of Eugenics.

Update: Obamacare House Vote likely on Sunday.

The last time we had anything close to the Government going against the Will of the People this way the South fired on Ft. Sumpter over it. And that really hadn’t gone anywhere near this far. I suspect that opposition to emancipation (which Lincoln hadn’t even tried to do at the time) was not as universally opposed as ObamaCare. We’ve never been here before, in terms of the Legislature and the Executive Branch conspiring (yes, the term is appropriate here) to subvert the express will of the people. I honestly don’t know what will happen next, but it is going to be interesting.

    AP fact checking Obama? wow

FACT CHECK: Obama plan only slows premiums rise

“Your employer, it’s estimated, would see premiums fall by as much as 3,000 percent,” said the president, “which means they could give you a raise.”

Besides, that is serious money into the coffers of Big Abortion, and Big Abortion is a huge doner to the Democrat Party. You have to break some eggs, you know, to make an omlet.

[Obamacare] is a health insurance plan written by a committee whose Chairman has publicly stated that he doesn’t understand it, passed by a Congress that has literally not read it but yet has made damn certain to exempt themselves from it, to be signed by a president that also has not read it, with funding administered by a treasury secretary who cheated on his income taxes, all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country that is $14 Trillion in debt to begin with and adding $2 Trillion a year more in red ink per year BEFORE this bill adds even more red ink to it. And it will be delivered to you by a House of “Representatives” that won’t even actually vote on it, headed by a Speaker who is on record saying that they’ll have to, “pass it to see what’s in it.”

I didn’t write this, and it doesn’t include the extortion, bribes, and other dirty deals; but it’s still a good summary.

    Good Morning, All.

Congress’s latest final push in its ideological crusade called health reform is shaping up to be an act of historic arrogance and deception.

It’s also about wealth redistribution. Yesterday Glenn Beck put up an audio byte, from 2001 I think, where Obama was talking about “starting the redistributive process”. I’ll post it if I can find it. Also, Obama futures are down to -20 this morning. We’ll probably see new lows over the weekend.

    @ vagabond trader:

I was worried, really worried, in 1994. We voted a Revolution then, though the Republicans didn’t deliver up to expectations. Things were a bit scarier then, because there were serious people seriously talking Civil War. People are upset now, and the Federal overreach is greater, but there isn’t that edge to the undercurrent. I’m hearing a lot of “vote the bastards out”, but not much on “time to go to the barracades”. That could change, of course, and change quickly, should the Democrats decide, as Nancy Pelosie so eloquently put it, that “…once we kick through this door, there’ll be more legislation to follow.” They may have decided to go for broke, and there is no telling what may come down the pike next. I’d say keep your powder dry, and the tools of the trade well-oiled and handy…

Martial law is, in fact, a form of law, and it can be instituted in times of emergency.

What Slaughter and Pelosi are proposing is not law of any kind. It is the rule of brute power, enforced by guns.

If the Slaughter/Pelosi rule is adopted, then the Constitution is dead. The regime in Washington is illegitimate in every sense. And the US military is obligated to arrest and imprison member of the regime, including at the very least all persons in the House supporting the rule and very probably the President who has incited this usurpation and the co-conspirators in the Senate.

  30. 30 | March 18, 2010 07:43

    @ Iron Fist:

The real reason for abortions is that Progressives want to reduce the number of people who are members of the “inferior races”. Their Race based ideology is only a stone thrown away from that of another Race based Progressive Movement, 70 years ago.

  31. 31 | March 18, 2010 07:45

    @ The Osprey:

I don’t disagree in any particular. I don’t think it likely that the Military will step in, though, no matter how much people might welcome it (and I suspect that a majority of the people wouldn’t). The Courts are where we will have to go to for redress of grievance for this userpation of public power and betrayal of public trust. It is my understanding that there are already a number of lawsuits drawn up to be filed immediately if this abomination passes. I’m sure it won’t be too hard to find a Federal judge to slap an injunction on it, and then we’ll see what the Courts say.

All of that is subject to change, of course, if further events warrent such action. They really are playing with fire here.

I think a lot of people who voted for the commie are sick to their stomachs watching what he is doing.
He really is behaving like a Mugabe 3rd world dictator. They let their wishful thinking get in the way of their common sense. It’s like you married the slightly off beat, perfect stranger and after the ceremony, out comes the monster.

Dr. King’s dream of a world where his children would be judged ‘not by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character’ has disappeared. We’re judging people by their skin color at least as much as during the Jim Crow era, but it’s been turned on its head.

Is there a thread somewhere where those 2 can go battle it out? I’m a little too tired today.

I just won’t abide by people blithely throwing around baseless charges of anti-Semitism at Obama. There is real and vile anti-Semitism in plenty of places in 2010. Scurrilously labeling policy-driven disputes as a hatred of Jews does nothing but empower those who truly espouse disgusting racist viewpoints.

So predictable. The pro-israeli ‘Progressives” are now twisting themselves into knots over at LGF, trying to deny BHO’s anti- Semitism

Yeah, it seems that equality wasn’t what a lot of people had in mind. They wanted to hold the whip hand, rather than get rid of it. I don’t know where we go from here. The black community appears to be self-destructing.

My guess is that he’ll hang on to the Black vote.

I don’t doubt there is some anti-semitism involved with Obama. I mean after all anyone who sat in that “Church” for so many years has to be. But I think his complete and utter ignorance of the Middle East is also involved. Certainly a combustable combination.

Except that those ‘policy-driven disputes’ will only result in the death of Jews when the ‘Palestinians’ take over more of occupied Israel and start demanding yet another few square miles of land ‘Stolen’ from them by the eeeevil Joooos.

    Screw Palestine.

That just means he is operating out of ignorance but with a “gut” dislike of Jews. This is not quite as bad as full-bore neo-Nazi anti-Semitism, but when you combine it with his self-confessed predilection towards the Mohammedans I think you will find that the results are similar.
