Doctor to Obamacare supporters: Go elsewhere

Gotta love this doctor’s gumption! Of course, the lamestream Obama-loving media, being the lamestream Obama-loving media, found some pinhead professor of bioethics, law and medical professionalism who said: “Doctors cannot refuse patients on the basis of race, gender, religion, sexual orientation or disability, but political preference is not one of the legally protected categories specified in civil-rights law. Then the imbecile, right after saying that the doctor is not violating anyone’s rights whatsoever, added “But this is pushing the limit.”

Oh really, simpleton? This will happen all over the country if this Obamacare monstrosity isn’t found unconstitutional, as it should be, by the SCOTUS, or reversed or at least defunded when we retake the House and Senate from that commie Pelosi and the dimwitted libs. It won’t be based on who voted for who, but with doctors getting paid less, you can bet the mortgage they’ll cut their workload, which means they’ll see less patients.

A doctor who considers the national health-care overhaul to be bad medicine for the country posted a sign on his office door telling patients who voted for President Barack Obama to seek care “elsewhere.”

“I’m not turning anybody away — that would be unethical,” Dr. Jack Cassell, 56, a Mount Dora urologist and a registered Republican opposed to the health plan, told the Orlando Sentinel on Thursday. “But if they read the sign and turn the other way, so be it.”

The sign reads: “If you voted for Obama … seek urologic care elsewhere. Changes to your healthcare begin right now, not in four years.”

Estella Chatman, 67, of Eustis, whose daughter snapped a photo of the typewritten sign, sent the picture to U.S. Rep. Alan Grayson, the Orlando Democrat who riled Republicans last year when he characterized the GOP’s idea of health care as, “If you get sick, America … Die quickly.”

Chatman said she heard about the sign from a friend referred to Cassell after his physician recently died. She said her friend did not want to speak to a reporter but was dismayed by Cassell’s sign.

[...]

In his waiting room, Cassell also has provided his patients with photocopies of a health-care timeline produced by Republican leaders that outlines “major provisions” in the health-care package. The doctor put a sign above the stack of copies that reads: “This is what the morons in Washington have done to your health care. Take one, read it and vote out anyone who voted for it.”

[...]

First question a doctor should ask, “did you vote for the 0 (zero)”

Nothing illegal about it. Wonder how long before his place is vandalized or picketed by race pimps.

Reminds me of us during the election. We had to cut some hardwood trees and told the guys at hubbys work they could come and get free firewood so long as they didn’t support Hussein.. :-)

This is a tempest in a teapot. The real fun will begin when doctors start refusing government vouchers en masse.

I have been wanting to do a post about a German GP I know personally. He told me a few years ago, that if knew what he was getting into he would have stayed away from medicine. This is coming from an guy who had most of his university paid for by tax payers, spent 3 years in public hospitals doing his internship and finally “made it” just to find that the changes in laws over the years caps the amounts social medical insurance will reimburse you for patients seen. They make their money off those who have private insurance, thats why they get better service. Its a two tiered system here. If you are stuck in public hospital, you are nothing more than a flunky public servant who isn’t compenstated for the amount of effort you put into becoming a doctor (despite the “free tution”). No motivation to bust your ass when you know the guys at the DMV make more money than you.

and the McCain camp is so desparate, they are resorting to leftie polls to allege a near 20% lead and alleging that Hayworth failed to meet his fundraising goal of $1 million in march but he achieved that goal. I hate liars!

That video is disgusting on many levels. Cooper did correct the asshole congressman about a number of things, but he left stand the biggest lie of all -- that the Dr. is denying care to anyone! That is a LIE!

Secondly, notice the way the asshole congressman justifies a double standard. He says that it’s ok (hypothetically) for a donkey doctor to turn Republicans away, because they’re all white, and thus it’s not racism. But turning donkeys away means turning blacks away, and that’s racism.

People like that need to be on the receiving end of the death panels.

They were fired and sent back home. But Germany has a lot more problems with physicians from other countries like Russia. In Berlin the Charité employed psychiatrists from Russia but had also to send them home because of their different concept of ethics.

German physicians go to Britain or Sweden, the Netherlands, Denmark etc. as temporary staff. They work for some days, sometimes weeks and go back home then. Well educated physicians as day-laborers because they earn more money there than in German hospitals or as doctors in private practices.

    @ Buckeye Abroad:

That “two tiered” system is their goal with socialized medicine. One tier that gets “universal” and universally poor coverage (this would be for the untermenchen) and another tier for the elite based more on political connections that raw wealth, though the wealth will be part of it. There are a lot of the people who want a “public option” who want to make sure that is the only option in the end. They’ll put the private insurance companies out of business with their laws and regulations, and then where else do you go? All part of the plan. They want there to be only two classes: the ruling elite and the untermenchen who are ruled.

Keep in mind that its almost impossible to sue a doctor in Germany for malpractice. With the investigation, I believe the court would need two other doctors to agree a malpractice occurred-- usually take 2 years. I don’t know how the lawers guild, the biggest contributor to the democrat party, plans to keep their milk cow of fleecing doctors going AND still have socialized medicine. The taxpayers are going to get double pumped by these parasites.

    Re: Kandahar Afganistain.

Put your best long range shooters on the front and back doors.

    1. Use loud speaker at 4:00 A.M. , in clear language those inside can under stand, “come out unarmed no one gets hurt, your home will be searched for bombs, ect.” Tell them any one, men, women or children who attempt to run out the back door to escape armmed will be shot dead.

    2. Give them 10 min to get dressed and come out.

    3. The second the 10 min. is up have your rear door guys ready and ammo-ed up.

    4. Shoot heavy weapon at the door until door is gone. Do not knock the door in with battering ram ect. that is what they want you to do.

    5. Some will then fire out the back and send a auto shooter out the back door. Shoot him.

    6. Toss illumation and concussion into the front door or launch them into the front door/windows.

    7. More will rush out the back door behind women, do your best to get the guys. The front door will have IED and other bobbie traps as well at the stairs and roof hatch. Expect any and every thing inside the home to be wired.

    8. This is at 101 Central Ave.

    9. Move loud speaker so that 102 Central Ave. can hear better.

    10 Repeat as needed.

Liberal entitlement thinking. We can have it both ways. I think the amount of taxes and debt heading our way will reduce tax revenues to a point that, depiste confiscating all they can.. eg. IRAs/401ks, the US govt. will still need to cut heads and shed weight despite what unions or dems believe. Arrogance and ignorance combined are a dangerous thing.

ding, ding, ding… we have a winner.

But even then, I put the blame squarely on the Americans who vote on the basis of their own greed or ignorance. Those who really believe they will get something for nothing or socialism will be an approvement for everybody in the end.

One solution would be to advance civics, economic and history classes in all schools, competecy tests for teachers every several years and the negation of public unions. Even then it would take a generation to pull the country back to sanity.

Another would be to go Galt and continue to watch society crumble.

For my 2 cents, if the sign is on the outside door, the patient gets to chose and the doctor has the right to free speech. Once they come in seeking treatment, voting record should have no impact on treatment and the doctors oath takes over.
