    As a little child relies
    On a care beyond his own;
    Knows he’s neither strong nor wise,
    Fears to stir a step alone,—
    Let me thus with Thee abide
    As my Father, Guard, and Guide!

    Amen

    A girl at work yesterday whose name is Jasmine, was 5 months pregnant. Her water broke at work. The ambulance took her to Charity Hospital and the baby is “okay” for now.

    Not necessary to put her on the list, just for today is fine.

    What a wonderful verse to begin the thread.

    As humans, we always know what we want, but seldom do we know what we need; that’s God’s department. Often we are given what He knows we need and oft these things are challenges given us to make us better people, to teach us humility and to strengthen our charater. Often we believe that God has forsaken us, but we emerge with the knowledge that those challenges and misfortunes have changed us for the better and were blessings in disguise.

    So, let us all do our best to live as He has taught us. In the end though, let us not be too specific about that for which we pray. Let us pray for what we need, and leave the specifics in His hands.

    Still no movement on the adoption paperwork, but they’re letting Sean spend Easter/Spring Break with us. So that’s wonderful. Picked him up at the airport twelve hours ago.

    Oh, but Thanksgiving-wise speaking, my other son got a job with the Census, so yippy-skippy.

    BTW. Kneeling down and praying over every name on the list is a powerful experience.

    I think we should pray for those at LGF, too. May they have a nice Easter as well.
