Nazi Rally in LA; Media Ignores

by snork ( 84 Comments › )
Filed under Democratic Party, Media, Politics, Progressives, Racism at April 19th, 2010 - 9:00 pm

Did you hear about the white supremacist/neo-Nazi rally in LA on Saturday? Me neither, until I came across this.

For two years, opponents of Obama’s agenda have been painted by the mainstream media, left-wing blogs and Democratic leadership as racist and extremist white supremacists.

The charges are malicious and false, as documented here dozens of times.

So what happens when there is a real white supremacist, neo-nazi rally? Almost no one notices.

Hmm. Much of the media and blogosphere hyperventilates about the racists and Nazis imagined to be at the Tea Parties, and the real thing is ignored by all but the local press.

A rally of about 40 white supremacists Saturday on the lawn of Los Angeles City Hall drew hundreds of counter-protesters, sparked brawls in which two people were severely beaten and ended with crowds of demonstrators hurling rocks and bottles at police and departing supremacists.

They’re everywhere! Forty (count them)!

There is a lesson here. The attacks on the Tea Parties have nothing to do with stamping out white supremacy and everything to do with shaping the political dialogue to stamp out legitimate opposition to Obama administration policies.

Yup. Hey, isn’t this in some blogger’s back yard? Shouldn’t a local LA blogger be covering this?

    He can’t handle the truth!

1.0 owner and posters are deluded, overly so. If they weren’t afraid of the truth they would post here.

The media has a jones to paint tea parties as nazi parties. Or violent protests when they are actually peaceful and all the non kook violence is leftist generated.

Heaven forbid-if they covered it and asked the Nazis if they were tea party members and the Nazis said, “No”…well, you can imagine the damage to the message it would cause.

But then, why bother when he can see them from 6000 miles away./

The media is tooooooooo buzy to watch the “racist” tea partys and to write ignorant articles about them:

The Tea Party: Populism of the privileged

The Tea Party is nothing new. It represents a relatively small minority of Americans on the right end of politics, and it will not determine the outcome of the 2010 elections.

    Snip

    The Misinformed Tea Party Movement

For an antitax group, they don’t know much about taxes.

    OT: From Drudge Report

The human right’s chief of the EU claims that a vacation is a human right, and will begin taxpayer subsidies for those too poor to afford to travel.

So since abortion is a human right here in the US, and since that right is so inviolate that taxpayers MUST provide subsidies, since we hear complaints of violation of the 1st Amendment when an artists work isn’t funded by taxpayers, and since we have Supreme Court justices who listen to court cases out of Europe, just how long will it be before we see the same kind of garbage happening here?

Taking to the next (il)logical step: Since a right must be supported by the taxpayer if we can’t exercise a right, will the government provide me with a radio station so I can exercise my free speech rights? When do I get a church building, provided at taxpayer expense so there’s no infringement of my freedom of religion? And hey, I really want a nice .44 or .45 at taxpayer expense so my 2nd Amendment rights aren’t violated. Ammo, too.

Costumed freaks playing dress-up. The real NS streetfighters back in the day would’ve laughed in mockery at these hobbyists. Sure, it takes some physical bravery to stand alone surrounded by a vastly larger nonwhite mob of “antifa” thugs, but they do it more out of narcissistic masochism than anything else. Yes, we know whites are the real minority in L.A. but NSM doesn’t have the answers.

Donald Douglas at American Power blogged on this.

Apparently the Neo Nazis were quite peacefully, with a permit, lawfully expressing their reprehensible opinion, when a bunch of communists crashed the gathering and violence ensued. The commies attacked the NeoNazis as they tried to run from the violence, and when the NeoNazis were gone the commies started attacking the police.

Most obnoxious about the Nazi rally in LA (it was on Saturday thus I couldn’t be there) is their use of the U.S. flag. The Nazis were not a Pro-White U.S. Movement as they like to claim, but actually a declared enemy of the United States. When you walk around the U.S. flying the swastika you walk around the U.S. promoting an American enemy; and are thus very, very Anti-American.
