Show Me Your War Face

That’s Maori Priest Irrarangi Tiakiawa, keeper of secret Maori martial arts techniques, including death strokes:

“I think this (death point striking) art should die. It is too evil for today’s society. I once witnessed my grandfather having an argument with another man and the other man was in the wrong, so my grandfather just got up and struck him with one finger to one point and the man died… “

The interview is interesting, and includes what to do if confronted by a Maori showing his war face:

1.  Stand still. If you run you’re gonna get hurt.
2.  The warrior will likely throw something down in front of you. If you don’t pick it up and hand it back to him you’re gonna get hurt.
3.  Don’t fight. If you do you’re gonna get killed.

Fortunately, you’re unlikely to encounter a Maori warrior unless you’re in New Zealand, but now you know how to react and you can live to enjoy another Overnight Open Thread.

Comedy Central: No to Muhammad — but Yes! to Jesus

Muhammad can’t show his face around Comedy Central. But Jesus Christ is, as it were, a whole different story.
In announcing nearly two-dozen new projects in the pipeline, Comedy Central says it has an animated show “in development” that is titled “JC.” As in, Jesus Christ. As in, a cartoon show about Christ trying to get out from the shadow of his “powerful but apathetic father” so He can lead a typical ol’ New York life.

I wish we’d set up a armed wall on the border, with automated weapons or remote controlled weapons.
give plenty of warnings in some sort of neutral zone, where you could turn back.
give the warnings in spanish ( not arabic. screw them )

then after a given amount of time, just shoot with a gattling gun. blow the shit out of the invaders

    sorry but that’s my opinion.

but, call your elected officials and tell them you support AZ SB1070 and wish your state had one. and call AZ chamber of commerce and governor and tell them you’re part of hte 70% who supports us. and, SHOW your support by buying and wearing those Viva los 1070 Tshirts or the “I support Arizona” Tshirts on cafe press and zazzle.

and, best of all, come for vacation here! but, if you’re coming to the southern part (south of the mogollon rim), i do not suggest June-August. hot, hot, hot! unless you’re into water sports, then come on down / over!

They can do this without fear of immediate recrimination because Jesus really *IS* The Holy Son of God…and all that that implies.

Muhammad is a pretender to the throne, so to speak.

Those who really are the ‘real deal’ don’t have to hurt people when challenged because they are who they say they are.

Phonies and fakes like Muhammad have to hurt people who insult and mock him because he *IS* a fraud.

It is the reason why I adore Christ…

    ….and despise Muhammad Satan.

All hail Jesus, good & true!

Or is it when they flood the local emergency rooms for non-emergencies like regular healthcare?

    Fucking morons!!!!!!

Antonio Villar is a racist union hack activist photo-opportunist dickhead whose political career ended with his pecker in the wrong place. From Wikipedia:

Born Antonio Ramon Villar in the City Terrace neighborhood of Los Angeles County’s eastside, Villaraigosa attended both Catholic and public schools. His father, a registered sex offender, abandoned the family when Villaraigosa was 5 years old. At the age of 16, a benign tumor in his spinal column briefly paralyzed him from the waist down, curtailing his ability to play sports. His grades plummeted at Cathedral High School. The next year, he was expelled from the Roman Catholic institution after getting into a fight after a football game. He graduated from Roosevelt High School, and, with the help of his English teacher Herman Katz, went on to attend East Los Angeles College. Villaraigosa eventually transferred to University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he completed a bachelor’s degree in history. Villaraigosa was a leader of MEChA at UCLA. At this time, he went by the name “Tony Villar” but began using his birth name, Antonio, in the 1980s.

Sure sales tax of 8.2 percent on a can of coke at the 7-11, or tax included in gasoline or fast food lunch, but the real taxes are not paid on their wages, and they take far more from the system than they give. I’m sorry if the facts hurt them but the tipping point has come with this economy.I am surprised at support from other groups, like Black Americans. Yeah, really. The lunatic thinks he’s an expert on everything, and he’s NEVER wrong, when in fact he’s an expert on very little, well, except maybe how to take half-assed pictures spigots, fences, and supertankers.
Yet even when it’s proven beyond a doubt that he was wrong, he still will never admit it. Of course 99.9% of his ass-kissing dimwitted losers at the shithole would never dare to challenge him even if they knew he was incorrect.

BTW, this is the same bullshit Chuckles claimed regarding the emails that confirmed that data was manipulated or deleted for years by those with an agenda to perpetuate the global warming scam. He read “most” of those also, and declared that AGW, is, in fact, a fact.

Chucks blatant dishonesty became clear on one post. It was an early Tea Party video & a woman said something about book burning.
There was nervous laughter , one tepid hand clap & the moderator
    admonished her.
Charlie said that it was thunderous applause.
I quipped that it must be lot of one hand clapping.
    Did he get pissed.

This is a tell-tale liberal trait.

They will go down swing with the 9-year old brat “I know you are but what am I?” argument.

It’s why many like me get so frustrated. It’s like babysitting bad kids that refuse to ever mature or face a situation honestly.

One night while bashing an old man for defending himself against
a “Move On” lunatic, CJ claimed that the “Ordinary reasonable Person”
standard does not exist in the law.
Then he googled & said well ok but it only applies in Torts , but not
    here.
He was wrong twice, it does exist in criminal law & torts

Maybe he had the volume too high on his speakers like during his ukulele playing. Kinda like this-

Reminds me of fultonchain on the “You Lie” thread from yesterday. I challenge him on the “generosity” of Zero donating his Nobel money to charity, and I inform him he has no choice, even give him the section of the US Code that requires he turn the money over to “the employing agency.” He then says he’s asking a “real federal lawyer” (like there is such a thing) about this “obscure” code section. Riiiiight. Then he states on another thread that Zero has “repealed” more gun control laws than Bush. So I ask him which laws he’s repeated. He never answered. Never mind that Zero can’t repeal laws – only Congress can. He can rescind prior Executive Orders, but he can’t unilaterally repeal a LAW.

I was a jury on a case where the judge TOLD us to apply the “reasonalbe person standard” in a case of self-defense. Snowball needs to stick to stringing guitars and taking juvenile pictures. Anything else these days and he’s out of his depth.

It would be a mystery to him. He stated though without reservation, that
the concept does not exist. Even when he was proven wrong, he just said that it does not apply.
    He has a vapid mentality.

When the emails got outed from the East Anglia CRU, he said that they were gotten criminally & forbade anyone to post them.
Then he proceeded to cherry pick & release what he wanted known.

  191. 192 | May 15, 2010 9:31 am

    @ RIX:

I think Snowball must think that a thesis is nothing more than a term paper with a thyroid condition. In fact, a thesis is HUGE, hundreds of pages, including annotations and research. Not only that, it requires an oral defense before a professorial panel. You don’t do that for, say, 30 pages of opinion.

He sure as hell could NOT have read it in the small amount of time it was available. Even if he printed it, he’d still be reading it. Unless he’s now claiming superhuman reading powers.

And yet he claims with certainty that Kagan does not support Socialism
    in her thesis.
