Quotes from MSNBC’s lunatic fringe on Obama’s oil spill speech- They trashed him and compared him to Carter

You know Obama’s in trouble when the morons who have been continually kissing this inept imbecile’s ass for the past three years, such as Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann, and Howard Fineman at MSLSD, are turning on him and are calling his inaction and his speech Carter-like.

Of course, the good news for Obama is that hardly anyone, and certainly no one with a functioning brain, watches that God-awful network of bottom-feeding dolts.

From Real Clear Politics:

MSNBC Trashes Obama’s Address: Compared To Carter, “I Don’t Sense Executive Command”

Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann and Howard Fineman react to President Obama’s Oval Office Address on the oil spill. Here are the lowlights of what the trio said:

Olbermann: “It was a great speech if you were on another planet for the last 57 days.”

Matthews compared Obama to Carter.

Olbermann: “Nothing specific at all was said.”

Matthews: “No direction.”

Howard Fineman: “He wasn’t specific enough.”

And in other news, that idiot Cato the Elder, over at the washed-up ukulele playing, bike riding, comic book reading pony-tailed douchebag’s shithole finally got something right:

You’ll know it is bad for Obama if Charles admits he is a failure. Of course, it could be that Charles’ goals are now those of Obama and his masters, and, thus, Charles regards Obama as being wildly successful…

Somewhat OT, just saw on NBC we now have our troops in Kandahar polling the public to find out what should be done next. Going with the usual insanity of this type, they will soon be ordered to do it without weapons.

I always thought that when the tide turned, it would indeed be ugly. I just didn’t know the tide would be covered with oily pelicans.

Gosh Kieth and Chris -- that had to hurt a least a little bit…

When the One has lost his lunatic fringe, he has lost all.

Note how the press has backed off HARD on Biden -- I am beginning to wonder if there might be plans for the Sestak affair (as it became known as) will be used as an “impeachable offense” and the gaffe-master Biden will be crowned #45? There has been some very kind words (and poll numbers) as of late for our nearly non-existent Secretary of State. VP material in time to run for the whole enchilada in 2012? //Tin foil hat off now……

“move somewhere that speaks it” is great.

I don’t have a lot of pity for people who refuse to speak the language of the country that they have chosen to live in. I’ve lived in several countries, and I made a great effort to learn the language in each case. It may not be the easiest task in the world, but is one of the first steps to integration. If that goal isn’t reached in a decade or two or three, then obviously something is wrong.

An ancient folk song is appropriate:

    1. Oh, why don’t you work
    Like other men do?
How the hell can I work
When the skies are so blue?

    Chorus:
    Hallelujah! I’m a bum,
    Hallelujah bum again,
    Hallelujah! give us a handout
    To revive us again.

    2. Oh, I love my boss
    And my boss loves me,
    And that is the reason
    I’m so hungry.

    3. Well, springtime has come
And I’m just out of jail,
    Without any money,
    Without any bail.

    4. Oh why don’t you save all
    The money you earn?
    Well if I didn’t eat,
    I’d have money to burn.

    5. Oh, I like my boss,
He’s a good friend of mine,
    And that’s why I’m standing
    Out in the breadline.

    6. I can’t buy a job
’cause I ain’t got the dough
So I ride in a boxcar
    ’cause I’m a hobo.

    7. I went to a house and
    I knocked on the door,
    The lady said, “Scram, bum,
    You’ve been here before!”

    8. I went to a house, and
    I asked for some bread;
    A lady came out, says,
    “The baker is dead.”

    9. I went to a bar and
    I asked for a drink,
    They gave me a glass
And they showed me the sink.

    10. Oh why don’t you work
    Like other folks do?
How can I get a job
    When you’re holding down two?

    11. Whenever I get all
    The money I earn,
    The boss will be broke
And to work he must turn.

    12. When springtime does come,
    Oh won’t we have fun,
    We’ll throw up our jobs
And we’ll go on the bum.

    @ livefreeor die:

I knew that disillusion would eventually set in. The nation needed a leader, and got snake oil. On a random note, I saw today that many in congress on both sides of the isle have lashed out at Turkey. One of the most tragic events of 44 is his failure to support regime change in Iran. Recent interviews with Republican Guard defectors said that the regime had already gassed up planes and were looking for somewhere to go. I think a push from the US would have been enough to start remaking the middle east, starting with its number one terror exporter.

So true. I kept waiting during the protests in Iran last year for us to show real support for people trying to get out from under a tyrant’s rule. And 0 and company did diddly. We could have helped take out one of the world’s biggest threats without having to send in even one soldier.

According to regime insiders, the planes were fully gassed and on the tarmac. As in, they were a within 48 hours of vacating. Obama still wanted to negotiate with them. Chances like this don’t land in your lap on a weekly basis. In yet another make or break situation, he voted present. This was also a time when it was clear which side we should support, but Obama didn’t. A free, democratic Iran would be a big blow to Islamism of both the Shiite and Sunni varieties.

Apparently Obama doesn’t know that lip service, despite the suggestive name, does not involve actual physical contact.

Obama seemed to be working to save our sworn enemies from the justice they deserve. Yet another great Carter parallel.

Funnily enough, third world ideologues mostly live in the developed world. It’s easy to praise Chavez when he isn’t controlling your life and forcing himself into every nook and cranny or your personal sphere. I believe a lot of people are waking up and regaining their common sense. But there will be always people that have lost it completely. Although I love my mom dearly she thinks it is wrong to say ‘I am proud to be an American!’ To which I said guess what mom, ‘I AM PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN!!!’
She and my dad have drank the kool-aid and I see no hope of them changing their minds. It is our young adults who are waking up!! Not the ageing hippies of the sixties.

Rats and sinking ships, seems to be a consensus here. I predict that Obama will not seek re-election, something a lot of us were saying from the beginning. Not that he wouldn’t run but that he would push his agenda even if that meant he would be unelectable. A pure ideologue. The left now sees an opportunity abandon Obama over a leftist issue, the environment, and they are going to latch on that like, well, a drowning rat.

The trick is this; people trust the messenger, not the message. Now that people have seen through the speech maker, there is little he can say to restore trust. Now is the time for doing, and he just can’t live up to it. This is going to be one dissilusioned generation.
