Obama believes in the rule of law- his law. No other law is relevant. No other law matters. When Obama speaks, he expects the world to obey.

In his Tuesday night performance, he said “I will meet with the chairman of BP and inform him that he is to set aside whatever resources are required to compensate the workers and business…” “Inform him?” Where does Barack Hussein Obama get the authority to issue orders to the CEO of a private corporation? There is no such authority in the Constitution. There is no law that empowers the president to “inform” the CEO of any corporation how he will spend the corporation’s money. Obama couldn’t care less about the Constitution or the law.

There was no Constitutional authority for him to essentially take over General Motors and Chrysler, or the banks. Obama couldn’t care less about the law. When he speaks, he expects the world to obey.

There is no Constitutional authority for the federal government to require American citizens to purchase health insurance or any other product or service. It doesn’t matter. Obama spoke; his Congressional majority of comrades obeyed.

In 18 months, the man has demonstrated that he cares nothing about the system of government created by our founders and enshrined in the Constitution. He has demonstrated that he fully intends to “fundamentally transform” the United States of America — as he promised in his campaign. Now we are beginning to get a picture of the nation he intends to build. The picture is frightening.

60% of the people polled on zero’s illegal money grab from bp actually approve of it. The public has been so conditioned to hate corporations, they think zero did the right thing. This is a windfall money grab for zero’s slush fund. I’m betting that most of the real victims on the coast will not get compensated. The cash will go to zero’s cronies. He has one of his czars lined up to administer the payouts. LOL

Yes: BP is baaaaaaaaaaad—first, merely because they are a corporation; second, because they are an oil company; third, because an accident happened that bids fair to hurt a lot of people.

The notion that it could actually have been an accident does not seem to occur to such people; that the regulators did not do their job, but that the existence of bad regulators lets BP out, at least to some extent, does not occur to them; that BP has absolutely no interest in prolonging the spill does not occur to them.

I refuse to buy into the Manichean racist worldview of the Leftists. I will not accept their delusion that “only one race can be racist,” and I will not mirror their poisonous insanity by setting up white people against black people.

Creating a race war has been Bill Ayers’ dream from back during his bombing days; he has always been Charles Manson with a trust fund. He may have gotten his marionette into the Oval Office, but I will not give him the satisfaction of letting that marionette foment the race war of which Ayers dreams.

Obama mocks BP chairman for sailing over the weekend instead of attending the disaster. Good job Barry. What is Obama do? Played golf and went to a baseball game.

But this is a disaster bigger then BP now. It needs more resources. Obama and the BP chairman should be in the same room daily for a few hours. Neither sleeping much until this is fixed. That is how the solution would happen.

Most of it’s already in place: open borders, non-enforcement of immigration laws, expiring tax cuts, groundwork laid for nationalized health care, huge slush fund payoffs to the favored, flabby military presence overseas, betrayal of allies, craven begging to enemies, semi-nationalization of the auto and financial sectors, expectation that the laws will be circumvented when expedient, solid vote fraud structure.

Once he gets cap and trade or something like it, to cause the price of fuel to skyrocket, and imposes some more “green” restrictions on whatever’s left, he can sit back, coast, and let nature take its course.

Public opinion will turn when the people start hearing stories -- and they will -- of claims not being paid, of people waiting for their money, and when these individuals who don’ even know their pensions plans have BP stock see the results of the non-payment of dividend (which is something I should think the shareholders may want to consult a lawyer on).

People just see this on first face as Zero getting money to those injured in the Gulf region. Neither Zero nor his administration have said anything about the over 14,000 claims BP has paid already -- and NOT out of that $20 billion slush fund.

I will urge people—once again—to take the time to read Ralph Ellison’s Invisible Man.

This was the “race novel” of the early ’60s—something that would have been very familiar to Bill Ayers and others of his generation—and it details in its latter half how an organization called “the Brotherhood,” modeled on the Communist Party, makes a useful-idiot spokesman of the unnamed narrator, ultimately using him to lay the groundwork for a race riot.

The narrator eventually comes to his senses, but it is impossible not to read the novel and think of Obama and many of his associations. It’s a long book—about 400 pages—and very layered, but well worth the time.

Maybe his own, if he looked in the mirror.

There are a few “nightmare” scenarios that might play out before the end of the year. If the Congress becomes once again controlled by GOP, he is going to be isolated and perhaps (hopefully) marginalized. I would be surprised if the GOP did not “Bork” a SCOTUS nominee. But, what if…

What if the lame-duck Congress is used to ram through the rest of his domestic agenda before the new Congress can be seated? In all likelihood, this would be the death knell for the Dems in 2012. But, then again, under what circumstances can he suspend, postpone or otherwise undo a Congressional election? What state of emergency would have to exist in order to keep the current Congress? I am not saying this is likely, but if he is the tyrant-in-waiting some are making him out to be, then he has to be considering some serious options.

None of that is even necessary. If a lame-duck Congress rammed through the remainder of Obama’s program—hey, they’re on their way out, what do they have to lose?—a new Congress would not be able to undo the damage unless it was so heavily tilted in the opposite direction as to be able to override a blizzard of Presidential vetoes.

That’s very unlikely to happen. Even if the election were indeed so lopsided, it is unlikely that the new Congress would be willing to go into wholesale repeal mode. Even if it were willing to try, it would have to fight not only Obama’s vetoes, but a media still willing to go to bat for him, that would vilify the new Congress for its efforts. Obama himself would be able to complain that people weren’t giving his measures a chance yet, and that things will be much worse if they aren’t given a shot—and by then, things will be bad enough that people will want to believe him.

It hasn’t begun to get as ugly as it’s going to, even if there is a big change in Congress this fall.

    found this over at IMAO
and thought I would post it here just because I think it’s funny

In the Washington Post, someone proposed that Hillary Clinton and Biden should switch jobs.

Hillary as Vice President? I don’t know if that’s a good idea.

As it stands, Hillary as to somehow get rid of the current president, Biden, Pelosi, and Sheets Byrd to become president. I think she knows she can’t have them all befall “accidents” without raising too much suspicion, so that’s fine. But if she were VP, I doubt it would be a day until we heard on the news: “The president was found tied to a chair with his eyeballs cut out — an apparent suicide. Hillary Clinton has been sworn in as the new president and has released this statement, ‘Power. Power! POWER!’”

It might be a nice change of pace to replace Obama’s moronic, impotent idealism with a raw lust for wielding power, but I’d rather just wait for the next Republican.

one thing i want you to do, notice the footwear on the protesters. the wealthy protesters with the guilty conscious from daddy’s money will have doc martens at $175 a pair…i have noticed this in every protest/riot i’ve been near.

also, the standard black garb, often the jeans are very designer as well.

Very likely Obama is a much greater danger to the commie invested Democrat party. On the course he is on he will drag them all down with him. It is not a little thing he is con’ing them into now.

The American people are not sheep to be banned from a blog like littlegreenfootballs or lied to forever by the msm and other commie hacks, there will be an oposite reaction to this commie shit.

Thing is, “We the People” are not ruled by the laws of physics,, the reaction to this bull shit and all the lies will be much more than just equal,,,, 100 times min..

He has done more to push Americans together than any one would have thought possibe.

We are united on one thing,,, Obama and the commie Democrats have to be voted out, Nov. 2010 and Nov. 2012.

Fight Back, you have no other choice.

The Big Zero and regime are the people that Robert Heinlein and Ayn Rand warned us about.

When this mess is finally cleaned up I would like to see something like the system of government that Heinlein proposed in his novel Starship Troopers.

Short of that I would I like see something like the functional equivalent of a Driver’s Education course for citizenship for everyone. This would include both a classroom course on the Constitution and duties of the citizen, and a field course in rifle marksmanship and basic militia tactics. Anyone who is not willing to personally bear arms (to back up his or her vote the way gold should back paper currency) has absolutely no business stepping into a voting booth.

That’s my rant for the day.

I’m not sure about the requirement to bear arms though. I was raised with rifles and hunted with my father all during my childhood but have always considered it a right and not a requirement. Nothing wrong with knowing about firearms and how to properly use them but as a prerequisite to vote, I’m not sure. However I would definitely support a knowledge of the Constitution and the founding as a qualification for voting. At the very least can we please require that voters show proof that they are citizens? Is that too much to ask?

This is what I mean when I call it a hypothesis:
“A hypothesis is a proposed explanation for an observable phenomenon.”

What you are claiming is more in line whit this:
“In a related but distinguishable usage, the term hypothesis is used for the antecedent of a proposition; thus in proposition “If P, then Q”, P denotes the hypothesis (or antecedent); Q can be called a consequent. P is the assumption in a (possibly counterfactual) What If question.”

I will stand by my claim that it is indeed a hypothesis.

    (Both quotes are from Wikipedia.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypothesis )
