UK PM David Cameron seizing bank accounts

by Rodan ( 90 Comments › )
Filed under Liberal Fascism, Progressives, UK at July 20th, 2010 - 8:30 am

The UK is heading towards a Totalitarian Progressive state under the so called Conservatives. PM David Cameron who is a self described Progressive Conservative, is planning on seizing dormant bank accounts. His goal is to take this money and great Big Society bank to fund social organizations. These terms should sound familiar to us here in America. The big society corresponds towards LBJ’s great society and social organizations are community organizations. Cameron is an admirer of Saul Alinsky and his actions reveal his radical leftist ideology.

U.K. Prime Minister David Cameron announced plans to use “hundreds of millions of pounds” from dormant bank accounts to fund community projects, while Business Secretary Vince Cable said lenders “ripped off” customers.

Cameron said he will press ahead with a proposal set out in the coalition government’s program to establish a “Big Society Bank” to finance moves by charitable groups and not-for-profit companies to take over jobs currently done by the government.

“These unclaimed assets, alongside the private-sector investment that we will leverage, will mean that the Big Society Bank will over time make available hundreds of millions of pounds of new finance to some of the most dynamic social organizations in our country,” Cameron said in a speech in Liverpool, northwest England, today.

Phony Conservative and Progressive enabler, David Frum wants American conservatives to emulate the British Tories. Seeing the actions of the Cameron regime, Frum supports redistribution of wealth. This is Socialism what is occurring in the UK and it’s no different than what Hugo Chavez is doing in Venezuela. David Cameron is no Conservative and neither is David Frum. They are both Progressives and American Conservatives should reject these 2.

This is a one-time grab. These bank accounts aren’t a renewable resource. What will they do when this/I> money runs out? The same thing Proggies always do: raise taxes. Britain is so fucked that I can’t forsee them ever getting un-fucked. They no longer have the social fabric or institutions to un-fuck their royally fucked up system. And that is if the Mohammedans don’t up and declare Britain a Sharia State sometime in the next 10-15 years…

And of course, muzz charitable (lol) organizations will reap the benefit of this grand theft.
All that money belongs to someone and these people could be found.
Look how quickly socialist governments grab anything that isn’t nailed down, This is criminal.

Currently, the Chief Financial Officer holds unclaimed property accounts valued at more than $1 billion, mostly from dormant accounts in financial institutions, insurance and utility companies, securities and trust holdings. In addition to money and securities, unclaimed property includes tangible property such as watches, jewelry, coins, currency, stamps, historical items and other miscellaneous articles from abandoned safe deposit boxes. Unclaimed money is deposited into the state school fund, where it is used for public education. There is, however, no statute of limitations, and citizens have the right to claim their property any time at no cost.

Disgusting, a total abuse of power!

Something like this could NEVER happen in the United States of America.

Elian Gonzoles was a dangerous “Assault Child”. As such, it required social workers with machineguns to remove him from the care of his family and deport him to Cuba where he could be re-educated from an “Assault Child” into the Perfect Communist Man™. It is much better in Cuba. Michael Moore says so, and he would never lie.

Almost seven full months into 2010, the Senate might finally get around to addressing the death tax. The death tax expired on January 1 of this year, but because of a quirk in the budgeting process it will rise from the ashes in 2011 with a punitive 55 percent rate and less-than-generous $1 million exemption level unless Congress acts soon.

    Fifty-five percent, ladies and gentlemen.

At least Cameron is showing his complete madness by naming HIS baby ‘Big Society Bank.’ (no focus groups for him!)

You must keep in mind that the Left want to destroy the Middle Class. Look back at Obama’s Racist Church. They specifically disavaow “Middle-classedness”. This isn’t disavowing having money. Fucking Oprah went to this church. Upper-classedness was just fine. It was being in the Middle Class that was explicitly rejected. This is part and parcel to the Left’s world view. The destruction of the middle class is to prevent society from having economic growth and prosperity sufficient to keep the workers from revolting, overthrowing the capitalists, and establishing the Dictatorship of the Proletariate with the Progs running the show. They want people to be poor and miserable, angry and frustrated. That gives the Progs a tool to work with to get the mob to smash the State. These people are evil. They want you to live in penury so that they can live in mansions. Worse, so that they can enjoy knowing that they live in mansions while you live in penury. They don’t want the rising tide to lift all boats. Where’s the fun in being a Lord if you don’t have serfs to oppress?

    So true.

I’m also frightened indefinitely because I know that “their” voters DON’T CARE.

If you’re like me, you hold out hope that people can be reached and enlightened, but a large segment of this country is not just unaware, but unwilling to listen (egged on by Dear Leader, telling them to stop listening to Fox and Google Huffpo instead).

They don’t need to hide their agenda from their voters, because many on their rolls can’t think beyond their next handout or helping hand from the government. It’s a big step to the next worry of “where’s the money going to come from?” Until it actually runs out, they won’t care.

Be very suspicious when alleged “Tea Party” candidates mysteriously enter races this year and begin attacking Republican candidates. We don’t need Romney, I agree. This “He’s the next in line” bullshit needs to end. Romney isn’t the man for the job. Neither is Guiliani, for those who like to push him. We don’t need a Proggy Republican that has learned to mouth the correct words on the Second Amendment, abortion, etc. We need someone who believes, and who can defend that belief and proselytize the undecideds and bring them into our camp. Romney can’t do that because at the end of the day there’s not much difference in his core beliefs and those of a Proggy Dem (one might note that therefore he has no core beliefs). Palin looks good, but that is why the Left have already expended so much venom in her direction. I don’t know that she can recover from that damage. But we need someone like her.

There are a few guys out there I like a lot more, Paul Ryan being one that comes to mind. But realistically who will be the most viable candidate … $$$? What’s the alternative? The left would like nothing more than to see the right divided. If Romney gets the nomination he’ll get my vote. I won’t cut off my nose to spite my face.

Given the way that blog is run, it is a shining exemplar of fishbelly-white supremacy.

That’s whay I was hoping for Paul Ryan or a Chris Christie. I despise Progressive Republicans.

I’ll vote for Romney over Obama, but I will give him hell. Anytime he proposes Progressive policies I will attack him without mercy. I’m just giving everyone a heads up don’t expect blind Romney support on this blog if he’s President.

I like Chris Christie as well. His fiscal policies are spot-on. I think he has the charisma to win the popular vote. He would be a good choice.

Agreed, he’s teh real deal and just what this nation needs!

I don’t respect anyone who gives any candidate blind support. They all need to be carefully scrutinized. Unfortunately, as someone stated above and I’m paraphrasing here, we live in a nation populated with ignormamouses who are content with sticking their collective heads in the sand.

Oh! I’d love to see Christie addressing the WH press corps. That would be a hoot!

Wouldn’t surprise me if that were literally true; i.e. that diary is written by one of his suckophants, or maybe Chuck himself.

I can just about guarantee that this is exactly what happened!

So this is whats meant when one orders a hot cup of Java ?? I did not know this…

Host: “How do you take your Kopi ?”
Guest: “You mean ‘my coffee‘ ?”
    Host: “No, your Kopi…”
    Guest: “Copee…?”
    Host: ‘Yes, your copee…”
Guest: “Whatever…light and sweet please…(to self: and I thought Elmer Fudd had problems…)”

It is no less of a theft.

Look how zero is trying to demonize the Republicans for not wanting to pay Unemployment into perpetuity.
We shouldn’t even have this kind of high unemployment. After all zero promised it would remain low if we just passed all his money grabs. Let him get some of that graft money back from his crony thugs and use that for unemployment payouts.
zero won’t be happy until all our pockets are turned empty, turned inside out. That would turn his frown upside down.

If they’d seal the border, repeal hellcare, resume drilling, and end the h-1b program, unemployment would drop three points in a month. I guarantee it.
