The Progressive Propaganda Media

The Tranzi Totalitarian Progressive movement has its reach in all facets of society. They currently control our government, education system, entertainment industry and most importantly, our media. Their cover has been blown with the release of the JournoList emails. This was an online hub where Progressive journalists would coordinate talking points and their smears. This is the smoking gun that exposes the leftist propaganda network.

My guess is that this and other revelations about JournoList will deepen the distrust of the national press. True, participants in the online clubhouse appear to hail chiefly from the media’s self-identified left wing. But its founder, Ezra Klein, is a prominent writer for the Washington Post. Mr. Klein shut down JournoList last month—a wise decision.

It’s thanks to Tucker Carlson’s Daily Caller website that we know something about JournoList, though the emails among the liberal journalists were meant to be private. (Mr. Carlson hasn’t revealed how he obtained the emails.) In June, the Daily Caller disclosed a series of JournoList musings by David Weigel, then a Washington Post blogger assigned to cover conservatives. His emails showed he loathes conservatives, and he was subsequently fired.

Read it all: The Vast Left-Wing Media Conspiracy

2010 will go down as the anno horribalis of the Progressive movement. The Obama Boom lie has been exposed and his ratings have collapsed. The Tea Party movement has become a threat to leftists in both parties. Things are falling apart and the JournoList scandal is just another wheel coming off.

First, it was about diverting from Jeremiah Wright, then it was about shutting down Fox News, now it was also about how to best attack Sarah Palin. This expose about GNN (Goebbels News Network) has actually surprised me; all this naked, blatant propaganda!

  2. 2 | July 23, 2010 8:58 am

    @ Morgan:

This actually goes back quite a ways. I don’t see how CNN ever recovered their credibility when it came out that they ere covering up for Saddam Hussein in order to maintain accesss to his regime. Access so they’d know about the atrocities that they weren’t reporting on, I guess. Fox should have hammered them on that point (What else in the world are they covering up? How will we ever know that CNN has finally told the truth about everything?) until they litterally broke. The Right is far to nice and forgiving to the Left. Look what they are trying to do to Breitbart right now. They will destroy his carreer if they can. Yet he didn’t spend months and years covering up for one of the most brutal dictators in history. We need to gut the MFM.

As vindicating as all of this JournOList exposure is (did you see Olbermann came off of of hiatus to “opine”, methinks he’s jealous that he wasn’t invited), I fear that it’s simply not going to matter much to most folks.
It’s just a well-presented report confirming what we all knew as fact LONG ago.
Several of these pinkos MIGHT lose their jobs, but will soon be rehired, and many will be vindicated by the same press that they are in cahoots with.
We’ve been providing concrete facts to the “concerned public” about this liberal media collusion for a while now, and it hasn’t made a lick of difference.
Kudos to the hard work done by the Daily Caller, but how big of an impact will it lake at the polls?
I opined yesterday that the country is not only divided but polarized, and the more polarized it becomes the less voters will vote on issues but rather ideology and perceived bias more so than issues alone.

That polarization is what I refer to as the Cold Civil War. I got the terminology from Mark Steyn, IIRC, and I think it is very apt for what about 30% of the population feels. That is actually a very high percentage of the peopple. The majority don’t care, really. The majority rarely trouble themselves to go to the polls. But the ones who care are deeply divided. Historically divided. Take ObamaCare. That was a huge, transformative program to get through without even one Republican vote. You do not see votes like that even in the pre-Civil War congress. Not on anything approaching that scale.

Kagan should be a bigger flash-point than she is. A few RINOs (maybe as few as two) are caving to the Enemy and letting a completely unqualified candidate slip through. More people should be mad about that. I think a lot of the Tea Party people are mad about it. As you say, we will vote more ideology than any specific issue this election. If someone has the correct ideology, they will likely vote correctly on the specific issues, while someone who is correct on any given issue may not be reliable on others.

Yeah at this point part of the population supports the propaganda media.

Perhaps I’s being a bit conspiratorial, but I find it curious that after YEARS of reasons to banish Charlie Rangel, an investigation and trial will occur shortly before the November elections (after much of his damage has gone on unfettered) and in the midst of a “racial environment” in which all sides are walking on eggshells.

It could just be that these things take time and it just took this long, but considering Rangel’s egregious statements and action over the years, I just don’t know.

    No coincidences.

  8. 8 | July 23, 2010 9:49 am

    @ Bumr50:

Yeah they want to make Rangel a distratcion. This whole race thing is being done to divert the Right. It works because our side is stupid. We should focus on Obama’s 3rd World/Tranzi Progressive Ideology.

They want to vindicate him and insulate him from the upcoming GOP congress who will no doubt launch massive investigations over the graft and corruption of this WH.

  10. 10 | July 23, 2010 9:55 am

    @ Rodan:

It works because we let the accusation “racist” actually mean something. It should be obvious by now that “racist” just means someone who is winning an arguement with a Prog. That is all. I holds no moral taint anymore. It has no real value or weight, or it shouldn’t. It is like asserting that the sky is mauve. Sure, maybe there are real racists out there. From where I’m sitting, it looks like the NAACP is a racist organization, but so what? It will gain me nothing by asserting this fact. Why, then, should it matter when a Prog calls me a “racist” when, in point of fact, I am not one? It is just another sign of our divide, one that points to the division getting nastier, not better. Because, frankly, we should get nasty right back at them. A putatively wise man once said “Get in their face. Punch back twice as hard.” That is what we should do. No mercy. This is a life or death struggle. We should treat it as such. Our enemies do.

  11. 11 | July 23, 2010 9:58 am

    @ Iron Fist:

Exactly, when they call us Racists, we call them anti-American. The term Progressive is now a negative. I believ in hitting their ideology and exposing the lies they are built on. The race card is a distraction, I say we flank them and hit them where they are weak. Their worldview is built on a lie. We need to go on offense and dictate the terms. Right now they are dictating the terms.

Rush has now taken to calling the Media “the Administration’s Ministry of Truth.” The Washington Times was all up in Andy Breitbart’s grill about his “selective” use of the tape, and then one of their own contributors was found on JournOlist of saying that the term racist should be flung continually at those that disagree with Jerk the Wonder Prez, whether true or not (NOT being the operative word here).

Finally GOT someone on the whole “you TEA Partiers just don’t like the fact that Obama’s black.” One of my co-workers, who proclaims herself a “socialist” was harping on me about Andy and the whole TEA Party “thang”

I simply asked her “so, if Condoleezza Rice or Alan Keyes was President, there’d still be the TEA Party going after them, then.”

“Well, no, I don’t think so.”

    “Why not? They’re Black.”

“But they agree with your point of view.”

    I smiled. “Exactly.”
