And your government bureaucrats are at work, with hilarious results:

Evidently, Sal the cat got on the jury duty roster after his humans, Anna and Guy Esposito, identified him as their pet on the long-form 2010 Census report.

Cat Called to Jury Duty

    LOL…and you can’t bribe a cat.
“Here’s a can of tuna – now be sure and find my client not guilty!”
The cat will eat the tuna and then vote the way he darn well pleases.
Assuming he feels like voting at all.

This would have been much simpler if the screws holding the original burners in place had come out properly.

All I was trying to do was remove them so I could clean them and put them back in.

I ended up having to cut most of the screws off. Since there was no clearance to get a saw blade in, I had to use a chisel, which was great fun.

After that, I ended up having to order replacement burners, because the screw ends still wouldn’t come out of the burners.

Then, the burners they sent me didn’t fit right, because the brackets were shaped wrong. After contacting the vendor, it turned out that they were the closest I was going to get, so I had to put them in a vise and bend the brackets to fit.

    Amazingly enough, it actually works.

Nationals pitcher Miguel Batista caught the pitch, which reached home plate in the air but would have been a little bit inside on a right-handed hitter.

The ceremonial first pitch came just four days after Batista compared Miss Iowa to Miss Universe, a parallel to how fans view him and phenom Stephen Strasburg. Connors said a lot of Iowa natives took offense to Batista’s comments.

Thats some family Chelsea is marrying into…her father-in law is a real gem:

Mezvinsky was involved in a series of business transactions that ultimately led to his downfall. Prosecutors later would call him a one-man crime wave.[1] In 2000, after examining his business deals since 1980, prosecutors said that they uncovered elements of fraud in nearly every one.[1]

In March 2001, Mezvinsky was indicted and later pleaded guilty to 31 of 69 charges of bank fraud, mail fraud, and wire fraud.[4] Nearly $10 million was involved in the crimes. Shortly after his indictment, he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, but the judge at his trial disallowed a mental illness defense.[1] Mezvinsky was released from federal prison on April 11, 2008.

And his brother Norton is a Lyndon LaRouche whack job: Norton Mezvinsky: Chelsea Clinton’s LaRouchite Uncle http://www.americanthinker.com/2010/07/norton_mezvinsky_chelsea_clint.html
