Illegal immigrant drunk driver who killed Catholic nun was released by feds not once, but TWICE!

But, you have to remember that the scumbag was just here doing jobs that us lazy Americans wouldn’t do…/So give him a break, won’t you please?

The man suspected of drunken driving and killing a Catholic nun in Prince William County this weekend is an illegal immigrant who was awaiting deportation and who federal immigration authorities had released pending further proceedings, police said Monday.

The man, Carlos Montano, a county resident, had been arrested by police twice before on drunk-driving charges, and on at least one of those occasions county police reported him to federal authorities.

“We have determined that he is in the country illegally. He has been arrested by Prince William County Police in the past,” said Officer Jonathan Perok, a police spokesman, who said U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement was notified at the time of one of those arrests.

Officer Perock said Montano was in deportation proceedings at the time of this weekend’s killing, but was out on his own recognizance.

(Liberalism. The gift that keeps on giving. But I digress.)

A call to ICE was not immediately returned, but the incident raises questions about the agency’s policy of only detaining some illegal immigrants awaiting deportation, while releasing others.

The latest ICE statistics show the agency is actually detaining fewer people now on an average daily basis than they did in 2009.

The Sunday morning crash killed Sister Denise Mosier and injured two other nuns as they were driving to a retreat at the Benedictine Monastery in Bristow, Va. The two injured nuns were in critical but stable condition, according to St. Gertrude High School in Richmond, run by the Benedictine Sisters of Virginia.

I happened to find a list in the Washington Examiner of some of the crimes previously committed by this piece of shit criminal illegal alien-

April 2009…he was arrested for driving without a license and convicted in June.

October 2008…he was stopped for driving 55 in a 35 mph zone, and was found to have a .17 blood alcohol level. Montano was sentenced to three years probation and his driver’s license was suspended.

December 2007…he was arrested for being drunk in public.

July 2007…he was charged with DUI and convicted later that same year.

Though Immigration and Customs enforcement ordered Montano to be deported in March 2009, he continued to have run-ins with the law, and remained free.

According to spokesman Jonathan Perok, Prince William County Police notified ICE after both his first and second DUI arrests. The department is now investigating how the illegal alien was able to obtain a valid driver’s license.

Corey Stewart, chairman of the Prince William Board of Supervisors, issued the following statement on the case: “The despicable thing is that this criminal was … handed over to ICE twice, and released by ICE twice. He’s gone out an killed a nun. That’s a perfect example of what’s wrong with immigration enforcement in this country. The blame is on representatives in Congress for being so flaccid on the issue, and they continue not to fund the deportation of illegal immigrants in this country.”

This case is a tragic example of how the federal government has abandoned their duty to all of us. How many more innocent Americans have to die before either the feds do their job and enforce immigration laws, or the states ignore Obama’s meddling and do it for themselves?

Barack Obama and Janet Napolitano are just as responsible, through their inaction, for the death of Sister Denise Mosier as is the illegal alien who smashed into her.

This happened at 8:00 in the morning when these Sisters were in their way to services. This POS was stinkin drunk at 8:00 in the morning!

I also believe these ladies were in my building on Friday sightseeing. They were so cute! I haven’t seen Nuns in a long time and these ladies were being escorted by an officer and they got alot of attention (positive attention like they were celebrities) from folks in the building! I think it touched them! They were so happy and smiling and this just makes me so sad! And angry.

He’s not from Mexico -- he’s from Bolivia. He’d be the OTM (other than Mexican) that ICE refers to. I’m just sick to death of people defending these people! Guess what? A lot of the time, Juan the gardener is also a stinkin drunk who wipes out a family of four (happened here too) on the weekends!

No doubt. This just really upsets me when I hear stories like this. Another thing that happened here a couple of years ago was a couple hired a company to power wash their driveway. The company hired an illegal. This piece of crap burst into the home while the wife was home and tortured, raped and killed her. He then uses her phone to call and taunt the husband telling him everything he just did to his wife. I never did find out if this POS is still pulling air!

Here’s the basic problem with this scenario.

If he was ordered to be deported, they should have taken him into custody and put his ass on a bus (or plane, in this case) home.

Did they really think he was going to show up on whatever date they ordered him to report for deportation?

I’ve been home all day today (nasty cold -- out yesterday too) and Corey Stewart has been on all our local shows and he’s ballistic about this. That’s one of the fellas we need in a real place of power! Mexico (Calderon) actually said they were coming to his area so they could see how he (Stewart) were mistreating Mexicans. Stewart immidiately shot back the equivalent of BRING IT!!! Calderon cancelled the trip.

See -- that’s what I think too. I think they were just hoping he’d disappear into the crowd again. Stewart says he doesn’t blame ICE, he blames Congress for defunding them. He says they don’t have the money to actually deport these people.

In the mean time zero claims he deports more people than Bush (not a great leap if you ask me) but what he’s not saying is that he’s deporting all the educated white/indian/asian folks and letting the illiterates take over the country and kill Americans.

You raise a good point there. I think AZ needs to play on situations like that. The feds don’t do anything about illegal immigration, the just hope they bounce from state to state becoming everyone else’s problem. THAT in a nutshell is what will turn the narrative FOR SB 1070 IMO.

Actually, I wouldn’t be surprised if that claim turns out to be another Clintonesque “it depends on the meaning of deported” deal.

I’d almost be willing to bet that their definition of “deported” means “a deportation order was issued by ICE,” not that the person was actually sent home. Using that definition, they’re counting this guy in their figures.

Oh yeah! What ws funny is watching Calderon, in real time, fold and cancel the trip! Virginia has made huge strides in getting rid of these people and neighborhoods and graffetti has virtually disappeared. Gang tag signs in lib neighborhoods probably helped -- still it’s better than it was a few years ago.

Years ago I heard of cases where LEO on the border would escort newley arrived illegals to the bus station and put them on buses deep into the country to save their own cities/towns. I just don’t think they have the authority to fix the problem -- which they should.

I honestly don’t care if he was from Mexico, Bolivia, Ireland or England. He was illegal and had been caught multiple times at it. Hell, he’d been busted on thing other than being illegal. He should have long ago been deported. I am absolutely sick of these people coming here and having more rights and privileges than American citizens. We have to control the borders, or we are going to be destroyed as a country. It really comes down to that, and I believe that the open borders people believe that too. They see the destruction of America as a Country as a feature, not a bug, though they lack the cojones (to take a lead from Sarah Palin) to actually say that out loud.

Rice did her job and did what Bush told her to. As Sec State, she was supposed to be the nation’s top diplomat. The problem is that Bush should have brought back the Secretary of War as a super-cabinet level position Czar, and put Bolton there whether the pussies in the Senate liked it or not. Obama has taught us much about an imperial Presidency with his use of Czars instead of “advise and consent” positions. I hope President Palin is taking notes…

We have to control the borders, or we are going to be destroyed as a country. It really comes down to that, and I believe that the open borders people believe that too. They see the destruction of America as a Country as a feature, not a bug, though they lack the cojones (to take a lead from Sarah Palin) to actually say that out loud.

Yes -- their plan is to change the demographics here and destroy us as a nation. Sad that we will have a slave class again!

You are correct there. All the “Open Borders” people act like it is perfectly fine that the illegals are paid less than normal wages (tax-free, to a large extent), under the table. They are doing “jobs Americans won’t do”, right? I’d work for less if I didn’t have to pay income tax and FICA, too. Why not? It isn’t like I’m going to be able to retire on Social Security. Hell, if I’d run some meth, pot, coke, and/or smack across the border, maybe I could retire to a nice hacienda on the beach in Mexico myself…

Don’t forget not having to pay for medical for yourself or your family plus not having to worry about state and property taxes. Basically, the only taxes you’d have to pay is sales tax. Makes $8 an hour kinda attractive.

Liberal filmmaker Michael Moore, in an interview with CNN’s Larry King, compared the suspected WikiLeaks source Bradley Manning with witnesses of Nazi atrocities testifying at Nuremberg.

“He essentially followed the Nuremberg principles,” Moore claimed, “which is when you see something going on like this, when you see war crimes being committed, when you see lies being told in order to bring a country to war, you have to speak out against it.”

Moore thought that Manning “is exactly who we want in our armed forces,” and deserves the Profile in Courage award for helping to make the WikiLeaks public knowledge. “You can’t just line up and be a good German and do what you’re told to do,” Moore said in defense of Manning’s audacity.

According to Accuracy in Media, he was an activist for ending DA/DT, and very much “out”—yet nothing was done regarding his presence in the Army, despite DA/DT. This is highly reminiscent of Fort Hood jihadi Hassan, whose jihad sympathies were ignored by his superiors in the interests of “diversity.”

In short, just as the Islamist organizations like CAIR have modeled themselves, and their playbook, on the gay-rights movement—from the “-ophobia” locution to the “human rights” whinging—here are two incidents, within one year, of military personnel from these two movements each engaged in their own jihad against the country that gave them their jobs.

Well, we can kinda beat that. Juan Gonzales, an illegal alien recently arrested for raping a six year old in Albuquerque, had two prior arrests for rape as a minor. There were competency issues in those prior arrests but if the illegality of mom could have been questioned the perp and mom both could have been deported. Problem is with catch and release we can’t even get rid of those we catch.

At the same time, there is an unfortunate and unjust Catch-22 in saying that someone is subject to being cashiered if it is discovered that they are homosexual, because the need to conceal thus created makes them vulnerable to someone else’s spite or to vicious rumor. In my opinion don’t ask don’t tell was working fine. And for the record Heterosexual sex can also get ya thrown out of the Military. And I’ll bet fraternization and rape ect has gotten more Heteros thrown out of the Service than Gays

    “backroom bars”?

You are not familiar with the term?

Backroom bars were—may still be—gay bars with backrooms where, in the Stygian darkness, anonymous and generally unprotected sex was engaged in. Bath houses are establishments with some nominal facilities such as a steam room and sometimes a swimming pool—and small personal cubicles and a public “orgy room” where, again, anonymous and often unprotected sexual contacts are engaged in.

There were many people for whom such establishments were entertainment of choice in the era before the advent of AIDS—and before AIDS was identified, and even afterwards, these establishments contributed mightily to the spread of the infection in the homosexual community. I had some friends, now long dead, who frequented such places, as well as the abandoned piers on New York’s waterfront where similar multiple anonymous contacts were engaged in.

Oh PUKE! That is another thing they do! Why do they do that? Why would you rape a little child? And they do it all the time! My God! They are sick!

My son Rustler said he knew a few lesbians in the Army and no one really gave a crap. When I was in the Marines, ’85-’90, most Marines were pretty hostile toward homosexuals.

Interestingly, that sort of mirrors the Bible; there are far more prohibitions in the Torah against heterosexual sex outside of marriage than there are prohibitions against homosexual sex. Yet somehow everyone seems to fixate on the very few lines that address homosexual contact and forget the many more pages of heterosexual prohibitions.

I hesitate to prescribe for the military, never having served.
I will, however, observe that there are, by all accounts, homosexual servicepeople who have served with honor. At the same time, there is an unfortunate and unjust Catch-22 in saying that someone is subject to being cashiered if it is discovered that they are homosexual, because the need to conceal thus created makes them vulnerable to someone else’s spite or to vicious rumor. That’s NOT what I meant! DA/DT was a great because only those who where outspoken on it where drummed out. One of my co-workers at my job was so gay it was ridiculous! (Think queen) yet he served with honor in Iraq! Had a cool paper weight too of masonary blasted from Sadams palace! Nice stone carvings! Singed BIG TIME on the back!

    Exactly.

The crap you always hear about how terrible it is that we’ve kicked out so many linguists, or intel analysts, or whatever, is just that: Crap.

There is nobody in the military going around hunting for gay people. Anyone who gets kicked out either wanted to get out, or did something really stupid (getting arrested soliciting gay prostitutes or something).

    @ buzzsawmonkey:

When the origins of AIDS were first known, that it traveled in the blood and blood supply, Don Francis came to San Francisco and BEGGED the Department of Public Health to close the gay bathhouses. The Director caved to the gay community’s outcry that their “rights” were being infringed, that it was a ploy to push them back in the closet. As a result, thousands of gay men became infected with AIDS and died. I lost dozens of friends. Not only that, because the gay community was very civic minded, they helped out in blood drives. Because the blood banks wouldn’t use the Hep-C test on all donations to try to weed out possible AIDS tainted blood -- the result was that many people died from transfusions and hemophiliacs died from tainted Factor-X.

Charles, I am walking away. No anger, no blame. My time is simply up, in the blogosphere as in meatspace.

If you would, please leave my account open so I can retrieve my shitty poems. There may be enough to make a shitty book.

I remember Cato trying to rip me one over one of my poem parodies. And I remember the quality of his limericks; “shitty” is le mot juste for them.
