Dog Haters in Iran and San Francisco

What do Iran and San Francisco have in common?

  • Dog-haters
  • Jihadi-sympathizers
  • Moonbats who thought they could control radical Muslims

Iran bans pet ads, brands dogs “unclean”

Of course, so did the prophet of Islam: “Ibn Mughaffal reported: The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) ordered killing of the dogs, and then said: What about them, i. e. about other dogs? and then granted concession (to keep) the dog for hunting and the dog for (the security) of the herd, and said: When the dog licks the utensil, wash it seven times, and rub it with earth the eighth time.” — Sahih Muslim 551

Note also that just as unclean as dogs are unbelievers.

Sharia Alert from the Islamic Republic of Iran: “Iran bans pet ads, brands dogs ‘unclean,’” from NewsCore, August 27 (thanks to Weasel Zippers):

IRAN today banned all advertisements in the country for pets, pet shops, pet food and other pet products, claiming that people’s love for their dogs and cats may lead to “evil outcomes”.

The edict, announced by Iran’s powerful Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, is based on a fatwa issued by Grand Ayatollah Nasser Makarem Shirazi, 86, a hardliner who lives in Iran’s holy city of Qom.

Read the rest. The comments are truly fascinating.

Okay, I’ll admit it. Although I’m mostly a cat person, I like dogs too. But that isn’t the point here. The real issues here have to do with tyranny, and with the unreasoning hatred and disgust that some people feel toward innocent living creatures.

Whenever any government, at any level, arrogates the power to micromanage the lives of its citizenry to this extent, we have a problem. Evidently, in the case of San Francisco, they might have become a little embarrassed by the ridicule resulting from media exposure. Iran, on the other hand, has no such compunctions.

San Francisco Pet Ban Delayed

San Francisco has told its contentious plan to ban the sale of all pets but fish to sit and stay — until January at the earliest.

The city garnered national headlines last month, when the city’s Animal Control and Welfare Commission proposed banning all pet sales in a move aimed at keeping small animals from being dumped on the Animal Control.

That commission last night, however, opted to put off discussion of its potential ban until 2011. The commission did come up with a new idea, however: Requiring would-be pet owners to obtain a license and take classes. This would ostensibly cut down on impulse purchases of guinea pigs and other small animals inundating the Animal Control office.

Let it be known that, as far back as last month, SF Weekly suggested alternatives: a “guinea pig fee” to offset the city’s costs in caring for hordes of abandoned rodents or a waiting period for potential pet buyers — “the Guinea Pig Brady Bill.”

These half-serious suggestions don’t look so outlandish anymore.

Clean the utensil seven times then dirty it the eighth time.

    Sure, that makes sense.

Dogs in muzz countries should be added to the Prayer List.
They suffer so much because of that madman who declared them “unclean.”
Given his domineering hideous personality, I’m sure dogs rejected him and this is how he reacts.
He puts a fatwa on them.

People feel joy and love in their hearts for their pets.
islam can’t allow a joyous heart for any reason except devotion to allah.

islam is abt. total control of human beings, including thoughts and emotions.
    islam is slavery.

The mosque developers are tax deadbeats.

The reason the Muzzies hate Dogs, is because when the 1st Mosque was built, a pack of dogs came in and urinated. Also Mohamed was reportedly chased by Dogs.

The banning of Dogs in Iran is another attempt of that regime to Arabize the Persian people. Arab Muslims hate dogs and Persians loved them. If you see ancient Persian murals, Dogs were present.

Islam hates Dogs and that’s why I hate Islam.

Good news, the European Union is collapsing!

The European Union is dying — not a dramatic or sudden death, but one so slow and steady that we may look across the Atlantic one day soon and realize that the project of European integration that we’ve taken for granted over the past half-century is no more.

Europe’s decline is partly economic. The financial crisis has taken a painful toll on many E.U. members, and high national debts and the uncertain health of the continent’s banks may mean more trouble ahead. But these woes pale in comparison with a more serious malady: From London to Berlin to Warsaw, Europe is experiencing a renationalization of political life, with countries clawing back the sovereignty they once willingly sacrificed in pursuit of a collective ideal.

Well lemme see. We’ve had 2 different neighbors from Saudi Arabia. Ali’s family was the first, Noh’s family the second. Two completely different attitudes about dogs.

When we were preparing to bring Molly the Beagle home from the breeder, I went to all the families in the neighborhood who had children and asked if their kids could engage in supervised play with our new puppy so she could become socialized w/children. Everyone said yes except Ali. Ali explained that for them dogs were unclean. His little girl Noora begged but he stood firm. Fine with me and I promised to keep the pup out of their yard (as I would do regardless).

In order to get to our front door, you have to walk past Ali’s front door (common driveway). When Molly was 15 mos old, Hubby was bringing her back from a walk and Ali’s 2 boys were out. They proceeded to surround her, yelling, throwing mulch and stones. Bob stopped them but when he got her inside, she was clearly traumatized, ran to me trembling and needed to be held and soothed.

When I finished taking care of her – I went absolutely rip shit. In bare feet, shorts and a t-shirt I tore over to that house and told Noora to go get her father. I backed him up against the family van and told him NO ONE is allowed to assault my dog. He said “I’ll will punish the children”. “No, you will NOT punish the children because it’s your fault – you raised them. And if anything like this EVER happens again I will come after YOU, rip your fucking lungs out and feed them to you.”

You haven’t lived until you’ve watched a devout Muslim Saudi man break into a cold sweat in the face of an enraged half-dressed infidel woman.

Fast forward. Ali’s family is gone. Noh’s family moves in. I thought I might as well just get this out of the way. Guess what? Back home they raise sheep and they have dogs. The don’t let them into the house, but they’re working dogs and permitted. There’s no problem with Molly. Well, what if she licks you or something, what then. Noh looked at me like I was nuts. “Eaglesoars”, he says with a big smile, “this may surprise you but – we just wash our hands” .

His girls played with Molly every now and then.

    Go figure.

When Americans go overseas we refer to ourselves as Americans.

Another one put the puppy in his cage and left him in it until my friend got home. He was in the cage for about 12 hours, the cleaner had left after about an hour. She called up the agency and ripped them a new one, and got her money back. She also canceled her contract with them. Both “maids” were muslim.

Slavery is another acceptible translation of “Islam” if you look at what the Mohammedans really mean with the word. Every Mohammedan is a slave of Allah, to be treated as a slave is treated. That’s a damn far cry from “Ask that you shall be given, seek and you shall find”. Islam is litterally an anti-Christian religion in that it takes almost all the teachings of Christ and demands its followers do the reverse. Thus you have “Kill the infidel” instead of “Let him without sin throw the first stone”. Of course, the Mohammedans like stoning, too.

No, it isn’t and that writer exhibits a depth of understanding that wouldn’t drown a fruit fly.

There has NEVER been much grass-roots support for abdication of sovreignty. I’ve been studying the EU for about 10 yrs. Even when a referendum votes down the Lisbon treaty or its predecssor, the leaders just ignore the vote. In many cases, they don’t even bother to offer a referendum. And they lie about it, see Tony Blair, et. al.

Bottom line – Europe has not changed. The elites will drag the place wherever/however they see fit and the citizens – excuse me SUBJECTS – be damned.

A good book – The Great Deception: The Secret History of the European Union

I’ve read both treaties – their concept of subsidiaries and competencies AUTOMATICALLY gives sovereign power to the EU.

Soft totalitarinism if ever I saw it.

He was illiterate and uneducated and although utterly amoral and ruthless discovered that he was incapable of running a business, so after failing as a merchant and caravan owner he turned to being a car5avan robber.

When the people of his home region (the area between Mecca and Medina) finally caught up with him and what was left of his caravan turned caravan thieves robbers and murders just as they were about to lynch him and his posse Mohammad had a single brilliant idea.

He threw himself to the ground began foaming at the mouth and writhing around feigning madness and then began speaking strange predictions of the future. The local inhabitants happened to be profoundly superstitious and fled from Mohammad assuming him to be possessed by a Jinn. Mohammad used this ruse several time to escape justice before he noticed that the members of the Jewish synagogues in Mecca and Median held their prophets in the highest regards.

Mohammad then had his second flash of brilliance, the caste society he was born into allowed only two avenues of advancement to people not born of rank and privilege. They could prove themselves to be shrewd and capable merchants, which Mohammad had already proven he was not, or they could enter the local religion and work their way up the hierarchy.

While Mohammad was not barred from entering the local religious establishment he was to old to ever gain any significant standing in it, he had convinced the locals he was some kind of unique and special spiritual person, his next trick was to approach the Jewish community in Median and attempt to convince them that he was a Jewish prophet.

The Jewish religious leaders and scholars asked Mohammad a series of questions which he was totally and complete incapable of answering correctly so they told him to go pound sand. Not only did they state very publicly that Mohammad was not a Jewish prophet, they mocked his and sent notice of his attempts to con them to the synagogues in the neighboring towns.

At this point in time the Jewish and Christian communities were still very closely linked and when the Jewish community designated Mohammad a fraud the Christian communities of the region echoed their assessment.

This is why Mohammad and his followers hate the peoples of the book. As was their custom the religious leaders of the Jewish and Christian communities were both literate and educated, it was that education that enabled them to spot Mohammad as a fraud and Mohammad knew it.

Oh and the reason he hated dogs, because when the people were hunting him for the murder and theft he and his failed caravan crew committed, they used dogs to track him and he was unable to elude them.

Exactly. The world would be a better place if the crazy Prophet never existed.
A large percent of the world believes that they can please their god by killing innocent people
Not necessarily. If not Mo, Islam could have been founded by someone even more EVIL!

Absolutely correct, Islam and Mohammad were foretold in “The Revelation of John” in the Christian Bible. Mohammad is the false prophet that will work signs and wonder and prepare the way for the anti-Christ. Macker wrote:

Oh sure they have, we just are saddled with treasonous douche bags who have so far refused to allow us to cowboy-up and handle our business.

Hell’s bells… Never trust someone the animals don’t like!

    That too!

The first time my (then future) husband came over to visit, I was amazed that a big, tough feral cat that I had taken in, who ordinarily went ballistic at the sight of strangers, warmed up to him. That told me a lot.

    @ doriangrey:
Brigandage was all too common back in those days. Muhammad essentially made a religion out of brigandage.

Oh absolutely it was after all, the only thing he knew. He didn’t have any real skills, wasn’t educated and lived in a area of the world that was totally nomadic and insanely tribal. His followers followed him in the beginning because Mohammad kept to the basic tenets of brigandage, i.e. you get to keep what you steal and anyone not of our special clan is fair game for looting raping and pillaging.

Liberals and Muslims share a lot in common.

They both subscribe to totalitarian ideologies and are anti-free speech. They both hate America with a passion. They both hate dogs. They both hate Jews and Israel. They’re a match made in heaven.
