Citizen Warrior: ‘My Friend is a Muslim and He’s Really Nice!’
SOMETIMES WHEN you’re talking about Islam, someone will tell you something like this: “My cousin is married to a Muslim man and he’s a really great guy.” And they will say it like that’s the end of the argument. They pronounce it as if their statement obviously cancels and disproves everything you’ve said about Islam. Here are some possible responses:
1. I can see that you are defending your friend, so let me be clear that I’m not attacking your friend or anyone who calls himself a Muslim. I’m talking about Islamic doctrine. I’m talking about what a devout Muslim is supposed to do, according to Mohammad, and what millions of Muslims in fact do.
2. Is he a practicing Muslim or a Muslim in name only? If he is a practicing Muslim, jihad is obligatory. But keep in mind, jihad means struggling toward the political goal of the dominance of Islamic law. Violence is only one of many ways to work toward that political goal. Also, if he is a practicing Muslim, he cannot be friends with you, according to the Qur’an. He can pretend to be your friend if it serves the goals of Islam, but if he actually feels affection for you and really considers you a friend, he is doomed to burn in hell according to the Qur’an.
3. That’s good (that he’s a really great guy)! But the Muslims following the doctrine still need to be stopped, and one very important thing that needs to happen in order to stop them is for non-Muslims to be educated about what is in the Qur’an and the Hadith. Our fellow non-Muslims need to be made aware of the game plan of the enemies dedicated to destroying our way of life. By trying to stop people like me from educating non-Muslims about Islam, you are actually helping Islamic supremacists with their political goals…

The bottom line
It is not about evaluating the character of each and every individual who was raised in a Muslim family, which would be an impossible task. It is certainly not about anyone’s racial or national origins. Instead, it is all about the dangers of Islamic doctrine.
Islam is an enemy totalitarian political ideology that seeks to rid the world of everything outside of itself. As such, it is inherently evil and undeserving of existence. Destructive ideologies must be counteracted, not only on the battlefield, but also in the marketplace of ideas. We can do this only by familiarizing ourselves with what the ideology is all about so that we can refute it. We must also offer a better ideology and world view in its place; namely, our own Judaeo-Christian civilization and our tradition of freedom and respect for individual rights.

I have a work friend who is a Muslim (born in this country) and is very secular, however I wonder if when push comes to shove, what side he would be on.

I worked for one. He was a very talented and driven engineer. He was my mentor for the four years I worked for him as his superintendent, and I learned more from him than anyone about seperating the BS from the important stuff when dealing with people at a business level and acting appropriately to ‘our’ benefit. I have heard several former Muslims explain that moving to our country, and marrying women here and pretending to assimilate is part of a broader plan of infiltrating our society and destroying it from within. Some ma consider me to be xenophobic, but I basically don’t care. I keep hearing about the, “fact,” that only a small percentage of Muslimes actually support jihad, and that only a smaller percentage actually participate. I personally believe that the percentage of both categories is far greater than what would be considered a small minority. There was an ibdtpp poll conducted a few years ago which put the number at roughly half. For my thought process, half of any population is sufficient to be at least wary in my dealings with that population as a whole. Since these prics want to kill every Jew on the planet, I would say that purdence should trump political correctness, without a second thought. By the way, these animals are only starting with those of us who are Jewish. If they ever succeed in their bloodlust quest to kill us all, whatever ethnic group you belong to, you will be next, or somewhere on the list.

Personally, I do not care be in the company of Muslims, period. I socialize with people with whom I have something in common; shared interests and the like, and that does not include Mohammedans.
If I encounter one in the public square, I treat them with the most basic of courtesy possible without being noticably rude. If I found that one had moved next door to me, I would afford them the same treatment as one in the public square.

The guy I mentioned above seemed Western from outward appeances and behaviors. He even served alcohol at the winter soltice parties he hosted. He was an Iranian Shiite who still held his passport. A mutual Kurdish Iranian friend informed me that he was taking the pulpit and reading on Fridays at the local Islamic center. This was revealed to me in the second year of our relationship, and it was at this time that I started to guage some of his behavior towards me by a more subjective measure, the mean being the Koran, by which some off his more inexplicable twists in behavior where comprehensible. Corelation doesn’t equal causation, but in a case were you have a pile of data, and a mean or axiom to hold it against, you make an educated judgement. I did, and I won’t keep their company since making that decision.
Two more examples:
A Iranian merchant I knew who was moderately wealthy, quarter of the year in Hilton Head wealthy, a freelnace photog in the seventies who published in several rock publications, would rail against the US and Western culture (or lack thereof from his viewpoint) upon drinking and when in the company of what he thought were sympathetic ears.
A Kurdish Iranian, married to a western gal, made his bones and money to immigrate during the Iran-Iraq war pulling guard duty for lesser men for a fee, the fled to Turkey, and selling hashish to other troops. A great guy from what I could tell, but after the experience with the other two and others in their circle, I still would have to doubt him too, if forced to cast a judgement by with I would enter into any trusting relationship with.
I hear some saying the Persians and Kurds are GTG. Don’t be so sure, they too have reasons to cultivate people and nations for their own ends.
I don’t know any second or thied generation people from these cultures, only expatriots, therefore I won’t condemn the younger ones, but the original of native origin….fuggiaboudit.

She has been with them for at least two years now. The neice lives in a damn hotel room with her boyfriend and 12 year old son in TN. The muslims I know from past work experience always wanted to know shortcuts and the easy way out. They were also pencil whippers regarding critical documentation. They hated to be TOLD to do something by a non-muslim and especially by a female co-worker.
