Christmas Queens Style

1987 is the year and Queens is the Borough. Damn, this was many years ago but it feels like just now.

I’m a hip-Hop head until I die!

Happy hood Christmas and I’m not a poser. Nothreat and Cold met and they can tell you, I’m the real deal.

I don’t hardly think much about Charles Johnson or Killgore Trout anymore, but every so often I do come across something on the web that does remind me of them.

    Here it is-

    ‘No True Atheist’ Poster

I don’t know who the guy in the poster is (I take it he’s a famous atheist?), but it’s the text at the bottom that got my attention. That comes from the Vox Popoli blog.

I hope nobody minds that I’m posting about this, but I am not up to signing up for yet another account at another blog (the blog that’s about Charles Johnson, Diary of Daedalus), and I rarely post here that much anymore anyhow.

  16. 16 | December 24, 2010 4:57 pm

    @ lobo91:

Yeah, all in all we didn’t do too badly. We killed Porkzilla II and the DREAM Amnesty. I’d say we broke even on not raising taxes. So we lost DADT and we lost START. That tells us who we need to primary out. We need to be vigilent, and work hard for the next two years. They will pass quickly. Me, I am just shocked that we are at this point in the Obama Administration and we haven’t seen any new push for gun control. The biggest hits we’ve taken there are Sontomayor and Kagan. We couldn’t do anything about Sontomayor, but we should have filibustered Kagan. I guess that there were enough RINOs to roll on her that it wasn’t possible.

Hey all, just stopped in fo a sec. I hope everyone is having a happy Christmas eve. We stopped by the nursing home to see the mother-in-law….I hope I never come to that; bedridden and effectively in a stupor.

Anyway, lighting in to the ol’ egg nog/Jameson’s to get my “Merry” on. I had a nice glass all fixed, left the room only to return to find that the “Scottie Dog of War” had got up in the chair and had drunk half of it! He has been rolling on his back and running about – clearly he’s a Scottie of good taste.

BTW, what happened to Snork; that was odd as hell!

Dogs can see some bright colors.

Cats see in black and white. It’s because their eyes are set up for night vision.

This is for NoThreat. It is essential knowledge. Almost everyone else can tune out because this is not a shoe thread./:-)

Toronto has one of the largest SHOE MUSEUMS in the world:

    @ NoThreat2U:

    I like this explanation:

We humans, and many other primates, need good colour vision to tell, for example, when fruit is ripe, as it is a good portion of our diet. The price we pay for seeing well in colour is poor night vision. For dogs, seeing well in the dark is more important than seeing colour. Their ancestor, the grey wolf, is largely crepuscular, meaning active at dawn and dusk. Seeing well in the low light conditions at these times is more helpful than seeing colour – for wolves, it doesn’t matter what colour the deer you’re chasing is, as long as you can see it, catch it, and eat it.

I’m sure it would rather have a deer.

    Cats are stringy…
