As we reported a few days ago, the new charge against Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff added by the judge has made it necessary to re-activate Elisabeth’s Voice, the fund-raising initiative that will help Elisabeth meet her legal fees.

Now Geert Wilders has come out in support of Elisabeth’s Voice.

Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff and Geert Wilders
Elisabeth received this email from Mr. Wilders earlier today:

The Austrian anti-jihad activist Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff is currently on trial in Vienna for speaking the truth about Islam. Her case is much like mine and that of all the other people in Europe who are being charged, tried, convicted, and silenced for daring to speak out against Islam.

Elisabeth is a courageous woman whose staunch defence of liberty, freedom of expression and the search for truth are an inspiration for us all. She is a beacon of light, not only for Austria but the entire West.

I fully support Elisabeth in her resistance to the oppression that has been forced upon her. And I especially support her in her defence against a charge brought by the Vienna court in an attempt to silence her.

It is important to defend those who are being prosecuted by the state for their convictions. We need to exercise our own right of speech on their behalf. If we do not speak out today for people like Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff, we will all be silenced.

Anyone who wants to contribute may visit Elisabeth’s Voice and make a donation using PayPal. Or, if you prefer, you may send a bank transfer using the following information for international payments:

Raiffeisen Zentralbank Österreich
IBAN: AT513150042908021602
BIC: RZBAATWW

Made out to: Public Notary Mag. Martin Scheichenbauer, Hemmaweg 5, A-9342 Gurk

The defense fund is not under her control, and disbursements from it will be made solely to pay her legal fees.

If you are unable to contribute, please pass the word along to anyone who might be able to help. We all need to fight to keep Elisabeth and others like her from being silenced.

Good morning. This is why you see the left expressing
    such disdain for the Constitution.
If it were not for that pesky First amendment in that
outdated document, drafted by old, dead honkys they
could start trying peopel in the courts for not
    sumitting to “Acceptable” speech

The regressive Progressives would do away with the union of 50 states as a means of getting rid of the Constitution

The only garauntor of the First Amendment is the Second Amendment.

    Obama divorces Mideast
Op-ed: Obama offers hesitant response while America’s most important Mideast ally collapses

American President Barack Obama has divorced the Middle East, even if it he did not declare it or present the world with the divorce certificate.

US Administration officials are treating the protests in Egypt as a constitutive event in the Mideast and comparing them to the revolution in Europe in the wake of the Berlin Wall’s collapse. However, Obama, loyal to his worldview that the US should not build or ruin foreign regimes, presented the world with a hesitant response over the weekend: He did not support Mubarak, but also did not go all the way to the other end of the spectrum and called for general elections or the replacement of the Egyptian regime.

Since gw has gone on record in support of suppression of suppression of the building of mosques, his support of Elisabeth will likely do more harm than good.
Supporting one person’s freedom, while trying to supress those of another group sends a message that is not likely to be viewed favorably.

And it’s only going to get worse. I think this guy El-Baradei is gong to go down in history as one of the worst people of all time. He is bought and sold and in the pocket of Iran. Egypt is all but gone. The next country to go will be Jordan.

I just got this in the mail from Senator Bonehead, err Boxer… What a fucking imbecile. California is soooo fucked…

    Dear Friend:

This week I introduced the West Coast Ocean Protection Act, a bill to permanently prohibit new offshore drilling along the Pacific coast. I was joined by all the Senators from the West Coast – including my colleague from California, Senator Dianne Feinstein, and Senators Maria Cantwell (D-WA), Patty Murray (D-WA), Ron Wyden (D-OR), and Jeff Merkley (D-OR) – in offering this critical legislation to protect the 570,000 jobs and $34 billion coastal economy of our three states.

Additional offshore oil development along the Pacific shoreline would needlessly endanger irreplaceable natural resources and our vital coastal economies.

President Obama has not included the West Coast in any new offshore oil and gas development plans through at least 2017, but we need permanent protection. The West Coast Ocean Protection Act includes clear language stating that “the Secretary of the Interior shall not issue a lease for the exploration, development, or production of oil or natural gas in any area of the outer Continental Shelf off the coast of the State of California, Oregon or Washington.”

Be assured that I will work to enact this important bill to safeguard our entire coastline from harmful offshore drilling.

    Sincerely,

    Barbara Boxer
    United States Senator

Israel knows how to handle it’s internal security pretty well, terrorist incidents inside Israel have become pretty rare. If your sister and brother in-law want to have a nice visit, all they have to do is pay attention to what the Israeli security people tell them.

The LAST thing Israel wants is for any tourist group, whether Jewish Kids or Christian Church groups, to get hurt in Israel. They ALL have armed guards with them, not to mention the guide and Bus Drivers are also usually armed. in addition they do NOT go anywhere where it is not safe. They will be fine. Anyway what is happening in Egypt has nothing to do with Israel on a day to day basis right now. That will come late when the New Egyptian Gov abrogates the Peace Treaty, then all hell might break out, but that is in the future.
