Well, ain’t this a surprise. I show up in the Rec Room to make sure everything’s stocked and cleaned up for tonight’s post-radio show, and I find this picture in the suggestion box with the cryptic message, “Men’s Toilet. Do it.”
I dunno… seems a little over-the-top to me, but I guess we could save on toilet paper this way. Think about it, and we’ll bring it up for a vote on The Overnight Open Thread.

First?
Yeh! First!
So, what’s the issue with the picture? Isn’t everyone’s bathroom set up like that?
did iowahawk send that picture in?
I woulda been first, but I was perusing the pr0n next to the throne.
Nice!
I have a half bath in between the library and living room.
**measures the bathroom near the bar**
nope, that library wont fit in there.
So that’s what y’alls side looks like! And you’re actually using the lamb cozy Carolina Girl gave y’all as a gag gift! Cute!
i need some golf club re-gripping music.
The Stranglers “(Get A) Grip (On Yourself)”
@ m:
Actually, I now doubt that this is a guys bathroom.
1. no hair in sink.
2. seat is down.
@ Daffy Duck:
They cleaned up for the pic. Heck, they prolly already tossed the toilet paper coozie!

That reminds me. If you ever feel the need to start a domestic brawl, walk into the bathroom and holler over yer shoulder HEY, WHO THE HELL LEFT THE SEAT DOWN?
@ huckfunn:
NO THANKS!
@ Prebanned:
Just a thought.
@ huckfunn:
Or take a swig of milk directly from the jug…
Or…, a thousand other things I do w/o a second thought.
/ yep, i’m single…
Hola everybody!

Hi!
@ savages_girl:
Hello SG. You’re looking chipper tonight.
In the words of Homer Simpson: “DOH!”
Read the rest of the story…
What an idiot…
@ savages_girl:
I know right? Do you think a D would have resigned? Hells no.
@ savages_girl:
Thanks for quitting. At least you got that right.
@ Daffy Duck:
Howdy
@ huckfunn:
Well, I don’t know about chipper. Been busy. Saw a show last night called Rock of Ages at the theater. A friend of mine from work had won tickets from a radio station contest. It was a fun show -- the music, dancing and acting were great. I had a good time. It was nice to get treated to dinner and a show.
Ooooo, time for sleep.
Anyone up for some Soviet break dancing?
@ Prebanned:
Good night
@ huckfunn:
Quiet night on the OOT.
Where did everybody go?
@ huckfunn:
A Chuvash wedding is more my style…
The Chuvash resisted Islamic expansion for centuries (even while experiencing near-annihilation during the Tokhtamysh-Tamerlane War in the late 14th century), so I respect them.
@ Daffy Duck:
Oh man. I woke up about 4AM this morning having belched some nasty. Went to the kitchen to get a glass of milk to kill the burn, almost gagged because the milk was sour. So I dumped it out. Grabbed another one. Same. Ugh.
Turns out the missus quit buying milk for some reason and kept the old stuff around for pancake mix.
@ savages_girl:
Guess they’re just not in to break dancing.
@ Philip_Daniel:
That was some bad acting, wasn’t it?
huckfunn wrote:
in soviet union, dancing breaks you!

OK, off to watch Criminal Minds. New episode…
Philip_Daniel wrote:
What would expect with a script like that?

That’s some pretty grim stuff. I do like that aerobic type Russian dancing. I mean I like to watch it. If I tried it, I proly burn a valve and a stint.
@ Bunk X:
I love milk, but never keep it past its “sell by” date.
(Slightly) sour milk might be the “sneakest” of things gone bad -- I can see moldy cheese or bread -- or spoilage on fruits/vegetables, smell rank meat, …but unless the milk pours ‘chunky,’ I figure it good-to-go.
Not a pleasant surprise to find out otherwise.

In eh-Soviet eh-Russia, screenplay recites you.

you should try the other russian torture…kettlebells
Philip_Daniel wrote:
exactly, comrade!
@ coldwarrior:
I’ve never heard of that.
I’ve had the same golf clubs for about 18 years. Never did anything to them. I suppose I could use a new set, but I only play about once a year. Which is too bad, because when I play regularly I’m not too bad. Not that good, but not too bad…
savages_girl wrote:
i play 3-5 times a week. sometimes 9 holes, mostly 18′s. my handicap has been as low as 6. right now it’s about 12.
coldwarrior wrote:
There are some guys up at the gym who use those things. I stay away from them… and the ketelbells.

huckfunn wrote:

how was dinner?
coldwarrior wrote:
Very filling…had prime rib and yorkshire pudding, a guinness and a big glass of port, and good company.
@ coldwarrior:
How sweet. You realize that sets a good example for Puti and the one that follows, right?
I can see that when I am around you guys. Don’t see that kind of interaction too much these days and I think it is just wonderful
coldwarrior wrote:
You can watch it on youtube. It’s a classic.
Daffy Duck wrote:
Oh, there’s worse.
Wait until you get ahold of one of those little cartons of “shelf stable” milk that’s gone bad. No way to tell until you take a sip through the little straw, short of cutting it open.
That stuff is indescribably nasty when it goes bad.
one more grip done

You don’t have any sisters huh? Neither did my Dad, but he learned all he needed to know about women from being in the Navy. I know all the jokes….I am sure he knew the skanks, but that is how he knew what to teach me NOT to be. That man was the only one who ever bought me make up. Daddies are funny. I had that experience at Khobar Towers, while we were getting ready to come back after Desert Storm. I haven’t touched that stuff since then, in fact.
We were pretty sure the contractors were trying to kill us, anyway. Shortly after we got there, several people got sick. They determined that it was because the contractors who ran the mess halls were using unfiltered tap water to make the kool-aid (and the ice). Everyone stopped drinking it, but people still got sick.
They finally determined that it was from the salad, since they used the same water to wash the lettuce.

one of the best meals i ever had was in a small hotel in ireland on the west coast, a big storm was blowing in, the lights would flicker, i could smell the salt air forcing itself through the doors. the salt air mixed with the peat fire and made the roast and spuds and guinness present upon my palate the most singular perfect definition of comfort food ever.
exquisite.
@ NoThreat2U:
i have a sister.
@ Philip_Daniel:
my wife is a huge ballet fan, as most russians are. i prefer opera.
@ coldwarrior:
Oh, I didn’t know that. And we can end that discussion right now if you would prefer it. It is just funny, I see the difference between a son and a daughter. They are like polar opposites. It is really something to see. I hope your sister has a good man. And remember Puti will always look for a man who is like her Daddy. I firmly believe that the Daddy sets the standard.

Good Morning, Blogmocracy! Today is another glorious day in the reign of Emperor Barack Hussein I, Pasha of the United States nad Defender of the
FaithUmmah! There are 635 Days until the 2012 Presidential Election! In the headlines today, the GOP is theoretically trying to find space for “Deep” cuts in the Federal Budget. Deep is relative, of course. Barack Hussein released his plan for “deep” cuts the other day and they amounted to 0.0% if you round them up to the nearest tenth of a percent. The sacrifice that our Federal employees will have to sustain is immense! Of course, with one in ten Americans on funemployment, the tax base isn’t what it was during the awful Bush years. Thank Nothing (we wouldn’t want to offend anyone) that they are over! With a little luck, we’ll never have it as bad as we did under Bush again! Oh, wait…@ mawskrat:
