Milking The Toad

Questions arise occasionally on where we find topics for the OOT. This particular thread resulted from a long lost .gif animation that we found behind the Rec Room couch with the cat stuff:

A  quick google search for toad lickers brought us to the Wikipuddle that mentioned The Church of the Toad of Light that in turn linked to another article that had a photo with a link entitled “Milking the Toad” that displayed this nice pen and ink sketch:

See how easy it is? Just follow your gut instincts, and you too can put up a unique and mildly disturbing post for The Overnight Open Thread!

  76. 76 | March 1, 2011 12:35 am

    @ Bagua:

Well I’ve had to think long and hard about it. I know that the chances of me taking a pay cut to move jobs is very high. I’m willing to take the cut to get out of the union. The sad part is that it won’t be like it was when I was younger. I started my first job at 12 and I have been working ever since. In fact when I was fresh out of highschool I was able to find a job whenever I wanted. With today’s markets though I’m sure it won’t be so easy. Things have become pretty bad and I have really shot myself in the foot by waiting this long. It would have been much easier to leave here if it hadn’t been for the pay and benefits. In the end though that is what has convinced me that I need to leave. I have serious moral objections to way my union dues are being used, and to stay for the money when I’m so conflicted is to sell out.

I have serious moral objections to way my union dues are being used, and to stay for the money when I’m so conflicted is to sell out.

check into your state laws. i hear that in WA, for example, if you object to the way the spend your dues, you can allegedly direct the money to a charity or something.

By the time we were through, she was hitting 3 or 4 bullseyes out of every 5 shots.

It’s really not that surprising, though. We always found it easier to teach women to shoot in the military, too, because most of them had never shot before. They don’t have any bad habits to unlearn.

ATF: Gun in US agent’s death traced to Texas man

DALLAS – Three people suspected of smuggling guns to Mexico were arrested in a Dallas suburb on Monday after federal investigators traced the gun used in the killing of a U.S. agent in Mexico to one of them, officials said.

Agents of the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives arrested the suspected gun smugglers in morning raids in the southern Dallas suburb of Lancaster, Texas, ATF spokesman Tom Crowley said. Crowley referred questions on other details to the U.S. Justice Department in Washington. A department spokeswoman said no statement was planned for Monday.

The ATF said the gun was used in a Feb. 15 shooting of two federal agents who were driving on a highway near the northern city of San Luis Potosi on Feb. 15. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent Jaime Zapata was killed and agent Victor Avila was wounded.

    Anyone believe this?

I am really disgusted with Whoopi still, after her little fit of laughter over Jesse Ventura, *bitch look in the mirror – you disgusting pig of a woman* OH yes and by the way Whoopi is indeed Racist for those of you that didnt already know – Here is a little bit of Education for you Whoopi, The white man did not enslave the black man, in fact it was the black man of Africa that enslaved his own and sold them as slaves around the world, to whites, to jews to anybody with the right price… Know your enemy you dangerous vile pig. and FYI White slavery was wild in the 18th century in America in fact it was much more common to have a white slave than a black slave, but now they wont teach you that in school(in movies they promote the white man as the enemy and slave master, but they wont ever tell you it was black African slave masters that enslaved his own, that the whites in America were more common slaves that blacks.) they teach you the white man enslaved the blackman – that is BS, the Black man in Africa did that to his own, while back in America White slavery was much more common, see this is what they conviently leave out of the school curriculum – to further the Global Governent agenda – now we have African American claiming Whitey owes you this and that? We owe you Nothing, not a thing – you want what your owed look at your motherland where your OWN enslaved you long before the White man was supposed to have done so. No they wont teach that in school though will they? They like to keep everything on a knife edge to further their World agenda… So Whoopi if your going to laugh at Freedom warriors such as myself, Alex or JESSE – at least know the facts of your OWN history first and not what you have been brainwashed into thinking…
In fact I urge all the Whie people to relearn their world history, because what you were taught in school is BS TRUST ME… And for the TROLLS out there waiting to pounce all over this post, because they have nothing better to do than stir fights… NO I AM NOT RACIST. Its funny how a black man can learn his history, love Malcolm X and hes not racist but when a White man learns his White history he is a Nazi loving racist scum Hmmmm… Again I AM NOT RACIST – though I know all the little CIA/NWO loving moron cannot spell, cannot read trolls out there will pounce all over this post… You can predict these things now days, these trolls have nothing better to do – here is something you can do GO AND READ A BOOK learn, and stay away from your pathetic little Ipads and X box and trash.. Pick up a good book and learn your history – you will find you are better off…
    That being said…
Now to the real issue, WELL DONE ALEX in the face of 30 million viewers on that show you got your word out there, you called out Bush you stated the number of dead in an ILLEGAL WAR – and you managed to keep your cool VERY WELL DONE SIR.

Yeah I heard about that. It really disappointed me. I like a lot of their music, and now when I celebrate St. Patricks day I’m going to have to be reminded that they are pricks. *sigh

you two are both very late to the party. the dropkick murphy’s have always been a blue collar band/pro-union band, read the lyrics to ‘which side are you on’, they even helped out on a labor dispute here in pgh with the stagehands union and got it settled with both sides happy and a nice long contract. their first lead singer quit the band to pursue his life’s dream of being a boston fire fighter. these cats grew up in working class boston.

so they voiced their age old since day one opinions and sided with a union, big deal.

now as for lumping them in with the dixie chix, well, thats wrong headed as well, the dixie chicks voiced and opinion and pissed off all of their fans and wrecked their careers. the dkm supporting the union in wisconsin wont matter one way of the the other. i disagree with their stand on unions, but love their music and cant wait to get the new cd and check out the tour this year.

i dont have a purity test for musicians, if i did, i wouldnt have many ‘purity tested’ bands to listen to.

well, the dkm are insanely pro-military as well…they have held benefits for the wounded and families…so i can forgive their pro-union opinion.
