The Nation of Islam’s UFO Conference

by Rodan ( 151 Comments › )
Filed under Fascism, Humor, Islam, Islamic Supremacism, Multiculturalism, Open thread at February 28th, 2011 - 8:30 pm

Louis Farrakhan has often claimed that there is a UFO called “the mother wheel” circuling the Earth. Supposedly, piloting one of the space craft is the founder of the NOI, Mohamed Elijah. The UFO Armada is suppose to destroy all military installations of the world, invade and set up some Global Black Government. Well at their upcoming conference, the Nation of Islam will have a panel of “scientists” discussing the existence of UFO’s.

The Nation of Islam, long known for its promotion of black nationalism and self-reliance, now is calling attention to another core belief that perhaps isn’t so well-known: the existence of UFOs.

When thousands of followers gather in suburban Chicago this weekend for the group’s annual Saviours’ Day convention, one of the main events will include a panel of scientists discussing worldwide UFO sightings, which they claim are on the rise.

[...]

During last year’s Saviours’ Day speech, Farrakhan for the first time in years discussed in detail a vision he had in Mexico in 1985 involving an object he calls “the wheel.” Using charts, photos and drawings, he spent almost four hours describing how he was invited aboard and heard Elijah Muhammad speak to him. Farrakhan says that experience led him to inklings about future events.

Read the rest: Farrakhan’s Nation of Islam to Argue UFOs Are Real

Well it seems Louis Fararkhan is trying to tie the Nation of Islam to the UFO conspirators. I wonder how many UFO buffs will appear at the Savior Day rally. It will also be interesting to see the reaction of the attendees, many of whom are Black racists, to the presence of White and Asian UFO experts.

Here is Louis Farrakhan at last year’s conference discussing his UFO abduction in Mexico back in 1985.

The Nation of Islam is a vile organization, but I have to admit, their UFO beliefs are hysterical.  Louis Farrakhan’s invite to scientists will really end up being a gathering of loons.

No word yet if a certain Californian online cult leader will send a representative.

But we’re supposed to believe that he didn’t actually believe any of this stuff.

Just like we’re supposed to believe that he’s not a socialist, even though every single person he’s been associated with in his entire adult life has been one.

daffy gave farakhan an ‘Empowerment and Human rights Award” of $250,000. And an interest free loan of 5 million dollars.
There is a lot going on there and zero knew abt. it. I heard this on the Aaron Klein radio show. rev wrong’s hate church magazine, “The Trumpet” always glorified, zero, farrakhan and daffy, railed against the U.S, applauded hamas and other terrorists.

Check it out: GAO Details Billions in Federal Waste

“Go study that (report). It will show why we’re $14 trillion in debt,” said Sen. Tom Coburn, R-Okla. “Anybody that says we don’t look like fools up here hasn’t read the report.”

An analysis of 18 different programs across three federal agencies that deal with domestic food assistance found that though multiple programs can ensure the needy have access to food, “administrative costs increase significantly,” with GAO estimating a $62.5 billion expense to the government from overlap and duplication.

I’m posting the whole thing. It’s worth it

Do tyrants fear America anymore? President Obama’s timid foreign policy is an embarrassment for a global superpower

The débacle of Washington’s handling of the Libya issue is symbolic of a wider problem at the heart of the Obama administration’s foreign policy. The fact that it took ten days and at least a thousand dead on the streets of Libya’s cities before President Obama finally mustered the courage to call for Muammar “mad dog” Gaddafi to step down is highly embarrassing for the world’s only superpower, and emblematic of a deer-in-the-headlights approach to world leadership. Washington seems incapable of decisive decision-making on foreign policy at the moment, a far cry from the days when it swept entire regimes from power, and defeated America’s enemies with deep-seated conviction and an unshakeable drive for victory.

Just a few years ago the United States was genuinely feared on the world stage, and dictatorial regimes, strategic adversaries and state sponsors of terror trod carefully in the face of the world’s most powerful nation. Now Washington appears weak, rudderless and frequently confused in its approach. From Tehran to Tripoli, the Obama administration has been pathetically slow to lead, and afraid to condemn acts of state-sponsored repression and violence. When protesters took to the streets to demonstrate against the Islamist dictatorship in Iran in 2009, the brutal repression that greeted them was hardly a blip on Barack Obama’s teleprompter screen, barely meriting a response from a largely silent presidency.

In contrast to Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush, President Obama fails to see the United States as an exceptional nation, with a unique role in leading the free world and standing up to tyranny. In his speeches abroad he has frequently found fault with his own country, rather than projecting confidence in American greatness. From Cairo to Strasbourg he has adopted an apologetic tone rather than demonstrating faith in America as a shining city upon a hill, a beacon of freedom and liberty. A leader who lacks pride in his own nation’s historic role as a great liberator simply cannot project strength abroad.

It has also become abundantly clear that the Obama team attaches little importance to human rights issues, and in contrast to the previous administration has not pursued a freedom agenda in the Middle East and elsewhere. It places far greater value upon engagement with hostile regimes, even if they are carrying out gross human rights abuses, in the mistaken belief that appeasement enhances security. This has been the case with Iran, Russia and North Korea for example. This administration has also been all too willing to sacrifice US leadership in deference to supranational institutions such as the United Nations, whose track record in standing up to dictatorships has been virtually non-existent.

The White House’s painful navel-gazing on Libya last week, with even the French adopting a far tougher stance, is cause for grave concern. The Obama administration’s timid approach to foreign policy is the last thing the world needs at a time of mounting turmoil in the Middle East, including the growing threat of a nuclear-armed Iran, and Islamist militancy on the rise from Egypt to Yemen. US leadership is now needed more than ever, but has embarrassingly gone AWOL on the world stage.

You should’ve heard our contractor describing the “green” protocol for removing a smidge of lead paint. You have to wrap the flippin area in piles of plastic sheeting, which is a giant waste of resources, then close off the area during removal. We were cracking up over the absurdity of the schemes these vaunted geniuses come up with. Radon abatement is another one here in New England. I refused to get my house tested when we bought it.

Heh! Radon abatement. That reminds me of a funny story. Years ago, when I was doing mining geology, we were working on some prospects near Uranium City, Saskatchewan. We had spent about a week in a the hotel, when a house became available to rent. (Because the major mines had shut down, the town was shrinking rapidly.) We got a nice modern house to rent for nearly nothing. It made a nice base for the month or so we were there.

One afternoon, we were back at the house early for some reason, and this little blonde girl, a university student, shows up. She was a summer student working on a government program to assess radon hazards. The block of homes we were in had been built on waste rock fill from one of the mines. She wanted to put a radon detector in the basement. I showed her all the sacks of ore samples we had piled in the hallway, and suggested to her that it might more than a little pointless. To her credit, she understood and agreed that putting a radon detector there would not only be useless, but could skew the entire survey. The survey itself was a useless make-work project, because the entire neighborhood was doomed to become a ghost town. I don’t know if there’s anything left there at all, now. ( I checked, 89 people at last report.)

The Radon Detection Project is a common one for High Skoolers. They are given little “detectors” to distribute to local homeowners, let them sit around for a few weeks, and turn them in for analysis for data (completed by others) to include in a report in order to get a grade. Be interesting to know who sponsors these little detector tins.

I actively avoid spending time in the National Parks, because you have to pay money to enter, and because you can can’t really do anything there. There are equally-beautiful mountain experiences to be had outside of the parks, without the nannys in ranger suits.

That being said, if I had visitors who wished to see the attractions in the parks, of course I’d be gracious and take them there.
