Karl Rove and the GOP Establishment behind Romney

The Republican Party has more in common with the old Soviet Communists that they would care to admit. Rather than leave it up to voters to decide who the candidate will be, they rig the system in favor of their anointed one is. In 1988, they choose Papa Bush. In 1996,  it was Bob Dole’s turn. In 2000 they railroaded McCain in favor of George W. Bush. In 2008, they made it up to McCain by favoring him. Now in 2012, they have chosen Mitt Romney. Karl Rove is behind Romney’s campaign and has assembled Bush’s old contributors. The game is fixed in favor of Romney.

By all accounts this should have been Mitt Romney’s turn to win the Republican nomination and the presidency. In a survey last week he was the only Republican who topped Barack Obama in national polls. Now, after bin Laden, one has to wonder.

What still makes Romney strong?

First there is the money. Insiders have told me that Karl Rove has been advising the campaign and some insist that he is the mastermind behind this new formidable fundraising juggernaut for Romney.

[....]

My former boss, George Herbert Walker Bush is among those, although he is savvy enough to know that endorsements can hurt as well as help a candidate.

When Papa Bush endorsed someone, that means the game is over. This explains the lies and smear campaign doen by the RNC against Donald Trump. This explains Rove and others attacking Palin and Bachmann. The truth is the GOP is not Conservative it is Center left. Just like the Old Soviet Politburo, they get their way.

America needs a Conservative choice!

Please do NOT nominate Romney. He is of the sex cult called “mormonism”. Though he may not have multiple wives, the media will drill the point home that the early mormons believed in that and that there are still pluralists in the US. Also, don’t forget a Mormon man gets his own goddam planet with as many sluts, hoes and skanks as he wants, and virgins if that suits him. Nominate anyone else, please.
And I conveniently forget about his liveral tendencies and Romneycare in Mass. That shit means nothing. He is a member of a sex cult, period. That will be the primary and neverending meme of the media -- and rightly so, in my opinion.

the media will make sure there are plenty of stories about polygamy and som fringe mormon practices (presented as mainstream mormonism) just as the prez election season gets underway if mittens is the gop nominee.

the mormons of today aint like they were wayyyy back.

even beck says that they have some ‘interesting beliefs’ but i dont think its really true or accurate to call them a ‘sex cult’ at this point in history. the ‘sex cult’ problem they have are with the nutters that have been tossed out of the church anyway. so, we cant pin the tag on the apostate and make it stick to the whole movement.

Sex cult? Give me a break. I don’t want Romney but it isn’t for the reasons you site. He is smart, he understands business and has had a job outside of politics but he failed with RomneyCare. He proves he is not a limited Govt. guy. That is what I’m looking for. The religious litmus test is stupid. Why are you worrying about his afterlife? It is the next term of governing that I worry about.

    @ snowcrash:

romney fails because of romneycare and bane capital, and my favorite, where mittens says that his sons ‘served their country’ by working on HIS campaign:

AP) Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney on Wednesday defended his five sons’ decision not to enlist in the military, saying they’re showing their support for the country by “helping me get elected.”

Romney, who did not serve in Vietnam due to his Mormon missionary work and a high draft lottery number,”

sorry mittens, helping you get elected is not ‘service’ you elitist punk.

(he also got to do TWO years in france on mission (usually missionary is one year)

    MISSIONARY ‘WORK’ IN FRANCE????)

I only bring up the “sex cult” sensationalism because the media will. Romney is a guaranteed loss to barack HUSSEIN obama.

they can also go into the blowjob classes the mormons give their girls. You see, only real sex is sex and before marriage the girls can do anything short of it to get themselves married and make their man-to-be remain true to them with all the slutty temptresses outside the good LDS church.

There’s no need for Mormom bashing. We have on our blog here.

    @ coldwarrior:

Yeah he gets a pass for that. But Trump gets attack by the Politburo for his deferment. It’s hypocrisy.

Romney is a guaranteed loss to barack HUSSEIN obama.

Bain Capital will guarantee Romney loses in Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Florida and Iowa.

indeed, my family is, I know from whence I speak but it’s not meant to bash, it’s meant to illustrate the venom with which the media will attack the LDS church -- which obviously I am not invited into very often…..Plus, Mitt will be too New Testament soft, turn the other cheek like Bush. We need someone who will fight/fight-back. Hopefully Santorum will do that. I have spoken with him one on one and he seems like a good person. I saw a bit of the debate and he seemed to do no harm to himself, in spite of the Chris Wallace attack questioning tone (of everyone).
