After The Rapture

[Tip o' the Tarboosh to CR.]

All I can think of  is “that poor damned dog.” Of course, it could be that The Day of Rapture is different for canines, and one day there will be a leash laying on the ground beside a collar while its owner stands there dumbfounded.

Now that The Rapture is officially over, we can safely resurrect and enjoy
The Overnight Open Thread.

Is that blackmail? (no that was NOT a racist remark!) I have to tread lightly around my Obama loving family. They take it almost personally. I think that’s weird.

Dear Congress, Last year I mismanaged my funds & this year I cannot decide on a budget. Until I have come to a unified decision that fits all of my needs & interests, I will have to shut down my checkbook & will no longer be able to pay my taxes. I’m sure you’ll understand. Thank you very much for setting an example we can all follow.

Oh, you meant my family. They don’t vote in your elections either. I don’t see the obamamagic charm at all. They’re lefties and I love them. We just don’t perceive reality the same way. Of course, reality means “I’m right” lol. Still, they are used to Canadian socialism.

Yes it is. People have NO IDEA because of what gets in the newspapers and on TV. This kid is extremely well-read and interested in Canadian politics. If I gave him an counter-jihad book, he wouldn’t read it. He’s been fed some harmless verses of the Koran during the course of his education. Boy, I’d like to get him in a room with Philip Daniel for a few hours.

Effin’ ISTE! I shoulda axed him about my computer infestation days ago. All my up-to-date software, all my tricks, rebooting in safe mode, rescanning with 3 different programs, resetting to earlier settings, registry scans, manually removing identified malware did no good at solving the root problem.

It was a root problem, and he sent me a link that fixed it in less than 15 minutes.

Good Morning Blogmocracy! Today is another glorious day in the Reign of Emperor Barack Hussein I, Pasha of the United States and Defender of the Faith Ummah! There are 532 Days Until the 2012 Presidential Election! The news of the day is, of course, the Missouri tornados. Prayers for the survivors, and the souls of the dead. What a terrible thing! Disaster can come all of a sudden, and it is no one’s fault. You will nnote, there has been no outcry that Barack Obama wanted Southerners to die in Alabama, Missippi, and now Missouri. Indeed, no one has even blamed the Missisippi river floods on him. What a difference an Administration makes! If that administration is Democrat. We should remember this if we win in 2012. The MFM will again blame all manner of things for which no one is at fault on the President. Just like Hurricain Katrina and Bush.

President Obama just said in a speech in the Irish village of Moneygall (where POTUS has distant relatives) that the Republic had “overcome occupation.”

things that make you go hmmmm……(tm)

Top Democrats Rebuff Obama at AIPAC

The fact that two of the highest-ranking Democrats in Congress implicitly criticized the president’s proposals indicates two things. The first is that there is a disconnect between Obama and congressional Democrats on Israel policy. And the second is that top Democrats are now willing to disparage the president’s proposals publicly. Even if Obama wants to push anti-Israel policies (and there’s evidence to that he does), his own party won’t stand behind him on it.
