Israel to Assad: “You start a war with us, we will kill you!”

I love those type of direct, blunt  messages. They are the exact opposite of  Obama’s “reach out and touch someone” messages he regularly  sends to Iran and Syria.  I hope that the head of the Assad Crime Family understands that the Israelis mean business. If he starts a war he will be killed, I hope that warning also goes out to Nasrallah of Hezbollah, the de facto ruler of Lebanon.

by Oren Kessler

Israel sent a message to Syrian President Bashar Assad in recent days, warning him that if he started a war with the Jewish state in order to divert attention from domestic problems, Israel will target him personally, Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Jarida reported on Tuesday.

According to the report, the personal warning was sent through Turkey following intelligence reports of unusual Syrian troop movements, including the moving of long-range ballistic missiles that could be used to target Israel.

[....]

Last month, following deadly attempts to breach Syria’s border with Israel, US-based Syria experts accused the Assad regime of being behind the Naksa Day protests on the Israeli border in order to distract from the prolonged uprising challenging Syria’s rulers.

“It’s almost a cliché – this is what he always does. He’s under pressure at home, so he deflects attention,” Andrew Tabler, a Syria expert at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy said. During the 2006 Second Lebanon War, “it was by rallying the people around resistance to Israel, and this time it’s with the Palestinian cause. This is not going to work.

Government sources on various continents also accused Assad of at least enabling, if not spurring the deadly protests that turned into the most volatile clashes on the Golan border since the 1973 Yom Kippur War.

    @ Fritz Katz:

Their decentralized model led to infiltration. I wouldn’t be shocked if the Left gout neo-Nazis to infiltrate the organization. It’s like the Tea Party, you and I saw Larouchies.

The EDL needed to disband and reform and keep stricter membership.

This is sad, they were the only ones standing up to the Islamists.

  7. 7 | June 30, 2011 9:32 am

    @ Fritz Katz:

Ok I’m reading it and it seems EDL members are denying any Nazi infiltration. They say its a leadership dispute and that Roberta Moore had an ulterior agenda.

I’m not in the UK and can’t get the truth. Let’s see how this shakes out. I think the Left could infiltrate as Nazi false flaggers to discredit them.

Let’s see how this shakes out.

U.S. shifts to closer contact with Egypt Islamists
ReutersBy Arshad Mohammed | Reuters – 47 mins ago

BUDAPEST (Reuters) -- The United States will resume limited contacts with Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton confirmed on Thursday, saying it was in Washington’s interests to deal with parties committed to non-violent politics.

While Clinton portrayed the administration’s decision as a continuation of an earlier policy, it reflects a subtle shift in that U.S. officials will be able to deal directly with officials of the Islamist movement who are not members of parliament.

The move, first reported by Reuters on Wednesday, is likely to upset Israel and its U.S. supporters who have deep misgivings about the Brotherhood, a group founded in 1928 that seeks to promote its conservative vision of Islam in society.

The MFM uses “conservative” as a generic term for “bad”. That is part of their propagandizing. Hell, most of them are so indoctrinated that they probably believe it. It is just like they call the Nazis “right-wing”. Right-wing as compared to what? More right-wing than the Bolshiviks, true, but if your political spectrum runs from the Bolshies on the Left to the Nazis on the right, where does a small-government, strict construtionist Federalist Republican fit?

“Conservative” in the sense of wanting to conserve the laws, traditions, and uniqueness of the American experiment is not the same as a “conservative” Muslim who wants to conserve the good old days of razzia, looting, piracy, slavery and Muslim empire.

But the media equate the two.

  20. 20 | June 30, 2011 10:58 am

Yup, wouldn’t want to vote for someone with her track record of seeing what is coming long before it gets here.

The US imports most of its oil, which means that a weaker dollar makes fuel more expensive, leading to inflation in retail markets as well. A few people predicted this very outcome when the Fed announced its QE2 project — one of whom was Sarah Palin, who got roundly ridiculed for her prediction, which turned out to be all too accurate.

So Gellar, you’ved listened to your mate Roberta and you feel you have all the facts. Not that you’d want to listen to the other side.

Yep, she resigned, but only before she was pushed. Basically the rank and file of the EDL were sick of her antics. Ever since she joined the EDL she has been trying to hijack the EDL and had an agenda to use it for her own purposes. She has increasingly become hysterical and earned herself the title of Batty Berta.

The EDL is a populist street movement designed to highlight the creeping Islamification of Britain. Anyone is welcome to join that feels affected by this Islamification. However, the movement belongs to the people and is not there to be used as a vehicle for someone to achieve their own personal objectives.

So, please, no more of the Nazi stuff, stop reading the made up articles of the far left produced in Britain. If someone in an organisation becomes destructive and devisive, they are removed for the benefit of that organisation, no hidden agenda, just common sense.

Finally, a link below showing one of this week’s many outburts from Roberta.

from here it looks like the kahanists were trying to take over and the EDl were having none of it.

    @ Rodan:

Most Americans (including nearly all “Liberals”) aren’t politically sophisticated enough to know that. They hear what the alphabet soup networks tell them is good and bad, what the New York Times says is gospel, and they believe it with an almost child-like faith despite all of the mounds of evidence that the aforementioned are pushing an agenda with Goebblesesque levels of propaganda.

I have met Kahanists (some have posted on this blog) and believe me -- they suck! They have the same “all or nothing” mindset of the radical left. A good example is the blogger Debbie Schlussel who used to be a good read but has become increasingly bitter and insane and spends her time defining and insulting those who are not “real conservatives” in her eyes.

EDL UPDATE: Pamela posts the following statement from EDL leader Tommy Robinson:

Tommy Robinson, leader of the EDL, just issued this statement to SIOA moments ago. I am relieved that they recognize they have a problem and intend to address it. I will carefully watch how events unfold.

Here is Robinson’s statement on the conflict within the EDL:

The English Defence League was formed two years ago. One of the fundamental beliefs that this movement was built on was its support for Israel’s right to defend itself. In our first demonstrations, we went to Birmingham, and we flew the flag of Israel, the Star of David. In the first public speech I ever gave, I wore the Star of David in Leeds. The reason for this is because Israel is a shining star of democracy. If Israel falls, we all fall. This is what our movement has been built on for two years.

The English Defence League will not be deterred from its support for Israel and the Jewish people. Recently, in the EDL there have been internal arguments, which are nothing more than that. Every large family has its disagreements, but when push comes to shove, we all stand on the same side.

Meanwhile, some people on the fringes of this movement wish to direct it toward their own agenda. This will never happen. Israel is a beacon of democracy amid repressive Arab states. Recently some people have jumped on the EDL bandwagon and tried to use our platform to express anti-Semitic views. These statements are not in accord with the fundamental beliefs of the English Defence League. These people are not welcome, never have been welcome, and never will be welcome within the EDL. We reject all anti-Semitism. The EDL stands where it always has stood, which is side-by-side with Israel.
We repudiate any individual, group or writing that favors anti-Semitism, neofascism, and any race-based ideology. Any rogue elements within the EDL who go against our mission statement and our beliefs will be removed from the organization; we are determined to remain true to our mission. Anti-Semitism will not ever be tolerated within the EDL.

The EDL stands for freedom. It always has, it always will. We want the Jewish people and all free people to remain free forever, and we all stand together in this fight against Islamic jihad.

    @ coldwarrior:

Lionheart is an anti-Catholic bigot. He’s smearing the EDL because the leadership is Catholic.

All “Tommy” and his hooligan brown nose groupies have done is spread the word that the English Defence League has nothing to do with me, that I never played any part in its formation, called me an infiltrator, completely smeared my name and reputation across their EDL media platform, and unsuccessfully attempted to intimidate me into silence. This includes threatening my family, and smearing family members of mine. All this towards me, an English patriot who will not buckle and bow under any circumstances at the hands of a few Luton Irish Catholic plastic gangsters and their hooligan brown nose groupies who control the EDL. Not for the good of the Country, but for the good of themselves.

Intimidation and violence towards their opponents is common place and can no longer be hidden after Irish “Tommy’s” Blackburn disgrace. How he is still walking the streets is testament to Alan Smith and his accusations being true.

Tommy Robinson held on its tether is responsible for this terrible shift in the EDL’s direction — I don’t know. But whatever the case may be, the EDL has done a Charles Johnson. And they are now unrecognizable to me. I am sure regular Atlas readers have noticed that some time ago I stopped covering their events — I was waiting to see how things would shake out. I was waiting to see if the forces of good would recapture the heart and soul of the group. Alas, it was not to be.

Now that the person whom I most trusted in the EDL, Roberta Moore, has resigned, as she was increasingly uncomfortable with the neo-fascists that had infiltrated the administration of the group, I too am withdrawing my support from the EDL. I hope that genuine anti-jihadists in Britain will also leave the EDL and work with Roberta on starting a new group that will resist definitively and firmly all attempts to divert it from its mission of fighting against jihad and for human rights.

if moore is a kahanist, then robinson did the right thing by showing her the door…hey pam…the edl is about england…not about kahanists.

Since I am pretty damned sure that arming your enemies is the classic definition of TREASON, I see no problem with McCarthy calling George C. Marshall and Sec. of State Dean Acheson traitors. Because that is exactly what they did. But then I guess you are ok with that.

Senator McCarthy kept finding more and more references to General Marshall as he continued his research into the reasons China fell to the Communists. When he heard that the Foreign Affairs Committee of the House had been requested to approve the arming of, by America, ten Chinese Communist Divisions he could hardly believe it. And then he learned that Secretary of State Dean Acheson reported that General Marshall had agreed to assign sixty-nine United states officers and 400 tons of American equipment to train ten Communist Chinese armies. This was incredible, and when Senator McCarthy had completed his research, he gave a report of General Marshall’s record to the Congress and printed his book “America’s Retreat From Victory” a story of George Catlett Marshall. General Marshall had been built up as such a great General and hero by the press that most people had a hard time believing the truth, but his book was completely documented. I’ll tell you how to get a copy if you really want to know the truth, and I hope you want to get one….

And McCarthy did not support the waffen S.S. troops of the Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler division, he objected to the defendants being beating half to death to get them to confess. Something else you clearly have no problem with. McCarthy wasn’t for the Waffen SS, he was for the rule of law, which was ruthlessly and brutally abused and violated in that trial. As long as you get the results you want you obviously have no objection to have they are obtained.

Hey Rodan, what’s your take on this? Has the shit just hit the fan in Lebanon or what?

Please don’t put any ****** words in my mouth. I stand by every thing I said about McCarthy. The man was an alcoholic moron who could not find a fucking Communist in Moscow on May Day. McCarthy went after the army on the Malmedy Massacre and helped get the death sentences commuted (all of the soldiers convicted were eventually released). McCarthy thought he was playing to the German-American population in Milwaukee.

I take your word about it. I do not have the stomach for it.

Neither do I -- I only made it through the first two minutes or so.

Hizballah will attack Israel now. I’ll work a thread on that!

    @ coldwarrior:
All I need to know is that if CJ is triumphantly running a thread bashing the EDL, something is awfully fishy.

As is the case whenever there’s anybody attacking the European counterjihad.

You are to be lauded for doing your own detective work and not taking things at face value without checking first.

Let’s just say that Vlaams Belang is in the blogroll at 1389 Blog under “Freedom Parties” -- so is the EDL -- and LGF never will be.

McCarthy himself has been unjustly maligned by those whose oxen were being gored. Like Pinochet and Fujimori, he will be vindicated by history.

History has proven you wrong on all accounts. Face the truth if you dare, you swallowed the Communist propaganda hook line and sinker and never ever have you considered that you were lied to.

Those responsible for the Malmedy Massacre eventually went free for the exact same reason OJ went free. Because some stupid fucking asshole couldn’t follow the rules of judicial procedure.

Like I said, as long as you get the results you want, you don’t give a damn how they are achieved. Thank god we still live in an America where that fascist totalitarian bullshit isn’t the accepted norm.

But hey, this is America, so you just go right ahead and keep sucking up that Marxist kool-aid, it is after all, your constitutionally guaranteed right to do so.

That is until we don’t have a Constitution anymore, than you can live happily in a land where people think exactly like you do, that the end justifies the means.

Yea, that’s what I figured too, Syria and Hezbollah will decide that it’s a good day to die. I hope Israel kills Assad and Nasrallah when they do attack.

McCarthy has already been vindicated by history, just some people who swallowed the Marxist propaganda refuse to admit what history has proven beyond any shadow of doubt or that they are dead wrong in what they believe.

honestly macker, i can read english.

i do not see pam apologizing for siding with her friend a a kahanaist who was trying to undermine the edl.

i do see her saying, ‘see! i was right! THEY have a problem!’

no, the edl does not have a problem, pam! they git rid of the kahanists and the ulsterists…because this movement isnt about ulster, or about kahanists.

    it is about england.

pam is getting all pissy because one of her buddies got whacked for being a ‘problem’.

where is the apology from pam?

    BREAKING NEWS… Shocking I say, truly Shocking…

    U.S. News
Study: July 4th parades turn kids into Republicans

The three key findings of those attending July 4th celebrations:

When done before the age of 18, it increases the likelihood of a youth identifying as a Republican by at least 2 percent.

It raises the likelihood that parade watchers will vote for a Republican candidate by 4 percent.

It boosts the likelihood a reveler will vote by about 1 percent and increases the chances they’ll make a political contribution by 3 percent.

What’s more, the impact isn’t fleeting.
