MSNBC Offends Again, Panelist Calls Grover Norquist ‘Gringrich’s Butt-Buddy’

Another classy moment happened over on MSNBC this afternoon. During a segment on Dylan Ratigan’s Show, former White House advisor to Joe Biden, Jared Bernstein was talking about the economy when panelist and “DC Insider” (Ratigan’s term for him) Jimmy Williams let loose with a string of charges against Grover Norquist.

One person is controlling the agenda of the United States of America and his name is Grover Norquist. Grover Norquist was Newt Gingrich’s butt-buddy, he was Jack Abramoff’s close friend, he laundered money from Native Americans, he charged people $25,000 a pop to go to a Bush White House signing ceremony. He’s a petty criminal and made just about every single member of the House Representatives on the Republican, not the Tea Party, the Republican side and almost all Republican Senators sign a pledge saying they will never ever, for the rest of their lives, raise taxes. I need to know, first of all, do we on the Left have a Grover Norquist?”

Democrat Congressman Luis Gutierrez Arrested Outside White House During Dream Act Rally, Slammed Obama on Immigration

On Tuesday Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-Illinois) was arrested outside of the White House during a Dream Act rally. The Congressman was reportedly arrested after refusing to move when asked by authorities. MRCTV brings us the explanation and video:

Gutierrez, who sat in front of a sign that read “Stop Separating Our Families” with a line of protesters, refused to leave when asked by the police. Gutierrez was in attendance at a rally urging President Obama to do more to stop the deportation of illegal immigrants.

MRCTV caught up with Gutierrez before he was arrested in which he said, “I think (President Obama) should use the broad discretionary power that the laws have conferred upon him and make decisions, smart decisions” in regards to deportation.” The arrest occurred around 4:40 pm

If he’s concerned about families being separated, I have an idea: Why don’t they stay on their own side of the border? Then they wouldn’t be separated.

Yes, the diving is supposed to be great. The ‘bugs are outside of the main city. I don’t think they use it much. They make trips to the U.S. to stock up on supplies and stuff they like. They had to learn how to bribe their way through Mexico when driving. It is getting less safe to do so from what I hear. I certainly don’t hear the guys complaining about crime in Belize. It lacks infrastructure, of course.
It is very poor. There are a couple of places where the very rich are buying up land and building a resort or two. It is definitely a backwater, which is why it was chosen.

Two of the first four brains donated to the Canadian Sports Concussion Project show that former Canadian Football League players Bobby Kuntz and Jay Roberts both suffered from brain disease.

The results of the autopsies on Kuntz, a former Toronto Argonaut and Hamilton Tiger-Cat, and Roberts, an Ottawa Rough Rider, revealed Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE), most likely from the repeated head blows and concussions they suffered during their football careers.

The other two players examined at the Krembil Neuroscience Centre at Toronto Western Hospital did not have CTE. They were former Winnipeg Blue Bomber Peter Ribbins and former Montreal Alouette Tony Proudfoot.

Ribbins, 63, died last December of Parkinson’s Disease; Proudfoot, 61, died earlier this year of Lou Gehrig’s Disease.

“While both of these men appeared to have pathological signs of CTE, they also suffered from other serious neurological and vascular related diseases,” said Dr. Lili-Naz Hazrati, who conducted the autopsies and examined the brains. “Right now we have more questions than answers about the relationship between repeated concussions and late brain degeneration. For example, we are still trying to understand why these two players acquired CTE and the other two did not.”…

I wonder why the other two had Parkinson’s and ALS, respectively. Seems as though I read something awhile back about head trauma being correlated with those diseases also.

I said the same thing earlier.

The House should go into recess until they decide to get serious.

Yes, but that wasn’t the point. The point is that people who kill can be crazy and still be culpable. This dude took ephedrine and steroids and who knows what else to make himself crazier than he was to begin with.

I think chronic thieves over the age of 25 should be permanently banished to cheap fenced off condos in China. They can teach English.

Some killed or injured during the commission of a crime should have no right to sue posthumously or humously.

Naw, there is another one. Already have a debt ceiling in place. Call a recess in the house and go enjoy nice summer days while Obama stops spending or breaks the law. Well, breaks more laws

How about a bill that LOWERS the ceiling? Who was it that said?..I’m not broke, the government’s broke.

Now I can get on board with that one!

AFAIK, there is no such word as humously in the sense of while still alive.

I’d be more inclined to investigate their diets as a causal element, than physical trauma. But, then again – you bang on a box of cereal long and hard enough, the contents occupy a significantly smaller space then when they left the factory. I can see a human skull reacting the same to similar treatment.

The first rule of career politicians is NEVER solve a problem without creating a new one. Fining businesses that hire illegals is THE solution – which is precisely why it’ll never happen.
