Even though he is my Governor, and I’m trying to vet all of the candidates, I have to say that Perry has impressed me. As has Cain to an extent. Romney too, on some points. Mittens is still too much of a RINO for my taste, Cain lacks some experience, but I do see him as a player in politics.

So unless he (Perry) makes some major gaffe, or has some skeletons in the closet, which is unlikely, he’s going to win it, in my opinion. Perry/Cain sounds good to me. There was a Bible I saw somewhere that had pretty much every prominent figure from Scripture as black. Jesus, Moses, Abraham, maybe even Paul, although I won’t swear to that one.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t believe Christ had blond hair & blue eyes, but I also don’t believe he was ‘black’ either. Probably swarthy skinned with brown eyes & hair.

The midterms were an essay test about the books (that I’d read just days before). My essay came back with a snarky comment that I hadn’t read them. I was the last white guy to drop the class.

I hate to admit it, but you’re probably right. I’ll keep backing Cain until he drops out, though.

Cain’s a good man and he is definitely part of the debate.

He was great. I thought he did the best of the 8.

I took a History of Civilization class in the late 70s. Couldn’t choose the time period, so I ended up with a black teacher who assigned three books to read. All three ran on the theme that Jesus was black.

    That’s what General Seti says.

@ 91 Rodan: When faced with afro centrism then those centrists needs to face the fact that they also created slavery and were probably responsible for most of the misery of humankind. Then modern slavery is just karma biting them back in the but until they learn.

There is some truth to that as the people usually concerned about ending slavery in Africa and other parts of the world are white and not black.
