Obama Still Has Delusions of Godhood

I kid you not. After three years of mostly failure, you would think Obama would have learned some humility. You would think wrong:

Obama asks CBC for Biblical faith in his agenda

President Obama made an appeal to the religious faith of black voters at a Congressional Black Caucus rally, likening Biblical prophets who had faith in God — and so refused to worship an idol — to the black voters who “keep the faith” by supporting him and his policies – and, he hopes, his reelection campaign.

Obama opened the speech by mentioning the Biblical story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, three captive Jews who were thrown into a fiery furnace because they would not worship a golden idol. Obama quoted a pastor who referred to the three men as “good crazy” for having that faith. He added that the pastor had attributed the same “good crazy” to him when he decided to run for president.

Obama continued that analogy, equating the Jews’ “faith in the things not seen” to the more mundane “belief that if you persevere a better day lies ahead.”

Obama added, “you and me, we’re all a little bit crazy, but hopefully a good kind of crazy…We’re a good kind of crazy because no matter how hard things get, we keep the faith; we keep fighting; we keep moving forward.”

So continuing to support Obama is just like keeping faith with God. Wow. That makes the Greek columns and Lightworker BS look like self-effacing humor by comparison. Of course none of those “men of faith”, including several preachers, took Obama to task for his Luciferian-scale ego trip. Why would they? They agree with him.

Odd thing going on in Texas, Ms tfk just got word that the State Republican Party has cancled the party straw poll. The e-mail she got said the canclation was due to lack of interest. She thinks it is because the Laup Nor’s were going to stack the numbers some how.

Me I think Perry etal think he would not do good local so they nixed it.

As I said prior and got stomped on for it, when Perry opens his dumb yap people get turned off. We here in Texas have been misled by him once to often. He is not what he wants you to think. Just more of the Bush go along crowd of the establishment R’s.

He is soft on immigration. He is a big govt. R. and the taxes here in Texas being low have not one thing to do with him, the work done on the slip and fall atty’s ect had nothing to do with him, and the Tea Party lady wiped the floor with him in debates and he would look a fool in a debate with Obama.

    Now is it more clear?

TFK, I’d been hoping you would return to comment on this. I had a gut feeling you were right about Perry, and unlike some here I have not gotten carried away with Perrymania. He is starting to unravel.

What do you think of Herman Cain?

Obama is also giving American Rabbis “TALKING POINTS” for their High Holy Day sermons for the third year in a row!!!

The talking points benefit Obama, of course.

He might as well tell the rabbis, “Tell them to vote for me or they won’t have a share in the world to come.”

All those who complain about the separation of church and state (so that kids get suspended from school for saying that they think homosexuality is wrong) should stand up and fight against the president telling religious leaders to give plugs for him during their sermons on Holy Days.

    @ The Osprey:

I notice that a lot of folks are rushing to discredit Cain on a CNN interview he gave in which he disagreed with the House GOP in the recent CR debate as to not agreeing to fund FEMA for recent natural disaster victims without up front cuts.

The thing is, Cain can afford to disagree with them. If he comes out for blocking disaster aid, no matter how much this offends the sensibilities of Tea Partiers, he sounds like a big ol’ meanie to independents, which he needs and is struggling to gain traction with.

He’s all about streamlining government, and I’m sure FEMA would be somewhere on that list. He seems focused on eliminating waste. But there’s nothing that he can do now to address that, and for now, FEMA is what we got. The House GOP is right to squeeze the Dems as well – they’re not running for POTUS.

Many of the dissenters seem to be staunch Perry advocates, and I sense a bit of sour grapes coming from that crowd.

Even in Reform Temples, the Holy Days are still Jewish.

    Or they’re supposed to be.

The Obama administration has turned the political sermon into an art form, and last week’s conference call with 900 rabbis, which was designed to give ‘guidance’ on what to discuss this year, was the third year in a row that Obama has ‘suggested’ topics for rabbis.

How about if the U.S. government suggests topics for Ramadan next year:

    1. Why murdering people is bad.

    2. Why supporting suicide bombers is bad.

    3. Why you’re ruining your lives hating Israel.

These would at least have religious elements to them.

In my favorite Orthodox synagogue in America, the rabbi says in pre-election sermons that he won’t tell people how to cast their votes (and he doesn’t weigh in on political issues from the pulpit).

He does say that he will tell people how HE is voting if they take him aside and ask him personally.

This is all he’s willing to say about politics in his sermons.

Most Reform Temples have great difficulty distinguishing between the Liberal Holy Writ of the moment and Torah.

I wonder how many Reform and Conservative synagogues have either taken to apologizing for the afternoon Torah reading on Yom Kippur, or have removed it altogether? Since that Torah reading contains one of the sets of Levitical proscriptions against same-sex sex acts.

I remember an interview where the person was waxing poetic about the luminous brilliance of the minds in the current White House (including and especially Obama).

His young university east of Naples – and the town he built around it – is growing, but not as fast as he would like. He has poured more than $300 million of his own fortune into Ave Maria, the university and the town.

In March, Monaghan handed off his day-to-day role as CEO of Ave Maria University, but he’s still the chancellor. Any profits from his new business will go back into the university, he said.

He’s used to challenges. In his life, he’s had plenty of them, beginning in his childhood when he moved in and out of foster homes and orphanages in Michigan. Domino’s wasn’t an overnight success, at times bringing him to the edge of bankruptcy

    Domino’s Pizza

Monaghan returned to Ann Arbor, Michigan in 1959, and enrolled in the University of Michigan, intending to become an architect.[3] While still a student, he and his brother James borrowed $500 to purchase a small pizza store called DomiNick’s in Ypsilanti, Michigan. This business would, after a lawsuit from Domino’s Sugar, grow into Domino’s Pizza. Tom, after opening a further three stores, traded his brother James a Volkswagen Beetle for his half of the business.[4] Monaghan dropped sub sandwiches from the menu and focused on delivery to college campuses, inventing a new insulated pizza box to improve delivery. The new box, unlike its chipboard predecessors, could be stacked without squishing the pizzas inside, permitting more pizzas per trip, and keeping them warm until they arrived.[2] Spreading his model to other college towns through a tightly-controlled franchising system, by the mid-1980s there were nearly three new Domino’s franchises opening every day.[2]

He sold his controlling stake in Domino’s Pizza in 1998 to Bain Capital, an investment firm based in Boston, for an estimated $1 billion.[3] Monaghan returned to Domino’s in 2001 after its fortunes worsened and helped the company recover.[citation needed

Black Pastor Sues Obama & Democratic Party for Racism

Reverend Wayne Perryman began the lawsuit (case C11-1503) along with journalist Robert Parks because he was fed up with all the rhetoric coming from the left, blaming all of Obama’s failures on race. Perryman and Parks began researching the Democrat Party and became enraged when they noticed the Democrat Party—via their website–was whitewashing their own history.

    snip

On the archived Democrat.org site—which has since been scrubbed– they gave a brief acknowledgment that their party was formed over 200 years ago.

Over two hundred years ago, our Party’s founders decided that wealth and social status were not an entitlement to rule.

That was it—no mention of any of their mistakes—including the fact that also over 200 years ago, the Democrat Party blocked all efforts by Republicans to abolish slavery.

    snip

In addition to trying to re-write history regarding Democrats and slavery, they are also trying to hypnotize people into believing the Democrats were instrumental in Civil Rights—not mentioning anything about all the efforts they made to BLOCK all of the Republicans efforts toward Civil Rights:

Democrats are unwavering in our support of equal opportunity for all Americans. That’s why we’ve worked to pass every one of our nation’s Civil Rights laws, and every law that protects workers. Most recently, Democrats stood together to reauthorize the Voting Rights Act.

On every civil rights issue, Democrats have led the fight. We support vigorous enforcement of existing laws, and remain committed to protecting fundamental civil rights in America.

This is a blatant lie, and Reverend Wayne Perryman and Robert Parks have called them on it.

“Rev. Sharpton said we never got our ‘40 acres and a mule’, wrote Parks in his legal brief to the courts.

”Yes, we did, and they were taken away by a Democrat.”

There is nothing inept in what Obama has been doing, only a state of abject denial on the part of those witnessing it. Everything Obama has done has been according to plan and has been executed with brilliant precision.

To grasp just how perfectly Obama has been executing his plan, you first have to accept and understand what his plan is. To date Obama and company have engaged in a near flawless implementation of the Cloward-Pivens Strategy. Until you accept the truth and reality that this is what he is doing you will continue to struggle trying to find words to express what he has achieved.

He is not inexperienced, he is not inept, he is not bumbling from one failed strategy to the next, this really is his strategy. He promised to fundamentally transform America, what most people refuse to accept is into what did he promise to fundamentally transform America, and the answer to that is, a Marxist Utopia.

Oh, it will. Nothing is going to happen to Obama, because of race more than anything else (though Democrats are more or less above the law). Not on Solyndra, not on Fast and Furious, not on anything. His being a racial demagog is really way down the list of his ennumerated sins…

Yes: the new attempt at expansion by the EPA—under which it appears to be taking unto itself the power to determine just what “functions” will be “permitted” in the private economy—looks very much like an effort to socialize the private sector as completely as possible.

Another list of characteristics of psychopaths:

    1. Considerable superficial charm, verbal facility and average or above average intelligence.

    2. Unreliability, disregard for obligations, no sense of responsibility.

    3. Untruthfulness and insincerity.

    4. Inexplicable impulsiveness.

    5. Antisocial behavior.

    6. Poor judgment and failure to learn from experience.

    7. Total self-centeredness.

    8. General poverty of deep and lasting emotions.

    9. Lack of any true insight, inability to see oneself as others do.

    10. Fantastic and objectionable behavior, after drinking and sometimes even when not drinking–vulgarity, rudeness, quick mood shifts, pranks.

You really do have to understand the behavior of a psychopath to make any sense of Ozero. Psychopath does NOT necessarily mean serial killer. Although, I think the military has a good sense of exactly how much value this person places on their lives.

    @ buzzsawmonkey:

The proposed regulations would set greenhouse gas emission thresholds above which businesses must file for an EPA permit and complete extra paperwork in order to continue operating. If the EPA wins its court battle and fully rolls out the greenhouse gas regulations, the number of businesses forced into this regulatory regime would grow tremendously — from approximately 14,000 now to as many as 6.1 million

This would be a killer to our economy….this president certainly wants a Marxist state. People need to wake up. So as far as obamma being inept…no…right out there communist.
Not to mention the useful fools who fall for this…especially in the class warfare that is being thrown around. People who make a decent living are evil and need to share what they worked hard for. I do not think this country could with stand another 4 years of bho. He has done a great deal of damage already…and has more damage for us in the wings. Can we even with stand him till 2012?

Well psycopaths are on a graded scale…from 1 to 10. 10 being a serial killer. 1 being someone who causes misery wherever they go.
The one common link with a psychopath is in their wake is nothing but damage to other people. It may be looting someones money to actual physical harm. With bho there is a very high level of narcissism. He will not listen to anyone other than people who agree with him. Not to mention if he doesn’t get his own way here he will/has brought in class warfare and the race card to further divide our country. He doesn’t care what this will do to our country…we deserve it in his mind.

My question is—will the EPA try and institute this unilaterally, even without Congressional authorization and no vote for the funding?

It’s already acting like a rogue agency under the wing of executive orders issued by a rogue President—whose Treasury Secretary is certainly capable of cranking up the color copies to provide the money.

It is, perhaps, time to start referring to the Obama regime as a “rogue Presidency.”

The question here is whether congress will continue letting him do this? Or are they too afraid of being called ‘racist’s'? Surely there are many democrats in congress that are not happy with this ‘rogue president’!

  89. 89 | September 26, 2011 3:37 pm

    @ Lily:

Congress can’t stop him. It requires 2/3 of the House and Senate to effectively check a rogue President. We don’t have that kind of control of the legislature. Obama can pretty much do as he please. That is scary…

I agree that we don’t 2/3 of the House and the Senate either. There are too many anti-American democrats that got voted in. But I do believe there are some democrats that aren’t anti-American. Too bad there are so few. This is indeed scary.

Fast and Furious screams rogue operation with the highest levels of agreement, if not necessarily sign-off. Nothing will come of it. The best venue we have is Fox, and there are indications they intend to “moderate” themselves (i.e. move Left). The Republican Debate was just the first such venue, I am afraid.

All time lows for approval of Congress and Congress doesn’t seem to care. Seriously, they do whatever they can get away with because the Press is compliant. From de Tocqueville:

•“Democracy and socialism have nothing in common but one word, equality. But notice the difference: while democracy seeks equality in liberty, socialism seeks equality in restraint and servitude. ”

•“The greatness of America lies not in being more enlightened than any other nation, but rather in her ability to repair her faults.”

•“The health of a democratic society may be measured by the quality of functions performed by private citizens.”

•“The power of the periodical press is second only to that of the people.”

    94 | September 26, 2011 3:51 pm

    @ Iron Fist:

You misunderstand me. I am advocating adoption of the term “rogue Presidency/rogue President” as a term used in conversation.

Currently, if people say that they “don’t like/oppose” Obama, that is put down to being Republican, or conservative, or whatever. But the term “rogue” is understood, I think widely, as referring to something that is operating outside its proper bounds or limits of behavior. It’s an objective term, if you will—which can be backed up by citing, not to how much money he spent or what he’s spent it on, but what he’s done; ignored court orders and laws passed by Congress, refused to issue permits, abrogated the laws of bankruptcy, etc., etc., as well as authorize such operations as F&F.

By referring to Obama as a “rogue President,” it may be possible—perhaps—to get some people who are not totally in the bag as leftwing ideologues to understand what our country is saddled with, and why it must be removed.

Fox is still better than nothing. Fox does show both sides. They aren’t the ‘evil’ news network the other news networks say they are.
Fox news has been demonized even in TV shows, movies, and in newspapers. The crazy started in Bush’s 2nd term and has just snowballed since then. It is so out in the open now that I fully cannot understand that a lot of people don’t get it. But because it is so out in the open the crazy, some people are actually getting it. I agree with you the next 13-14 months are going to be full on crazy!
