Fourth Woman Accuses Cain of Sexual Harassment

A fourth woman has come forward with claims of sexual harassment against GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain. Here is the TV interview.

My questions are:

1. Why did it take 14 years for this woman to go public with the allegations?

2. She has said she will not press civil charges. Why, then, is she bringing it up now? What is her motivation?

3. Can these allegations from 14 years ago ever be proven true or false?

4. Is this woman a credible person?

Fire away.

Why would she retain Gloria Allred?

    Why a lawyer at all?

Do you seriously expect me to believe that you didn’t tell your boyfriend or your mentor what happened in ANY detail at all?

    I call bullsh*t.

Where has this woman been for 14 years? If it her allegations are true, was that the first time she re-buffed a sexual advance? Is every male who ever made a sexual advance and was turned down guilty of “sexual harassment”?

    @ huckfunn:

She described a sexual assault. And was laughing. And never went to the police nor told anyone the details.

    It’s a lie.

Yep. If it was so horrible 14 years ago, she would have said something before now. Pure smear.

odd that this comes up now, why didnt she come out when he was running for senate in georgia…or, odd she didnt make a big stink and get some $$$ way back in the day when this happened, odd that she didnt go to court (cant now i think the statues of limitations have run out), odd that gloria allred will be all over this but wouldnt touch much worse allegations and fact against clinton. odd, odd, odd…

    @ coldwarrior:
What are her motivations? All Red will have coached her to say “to see that justice is done… the truth come out”, etc… Complete political smear with probable financial incentive.

This Too-Ray guy is certainly getting a lot of legs with the Cain story.

NBC News’ Race-Baiting Analyst: Cain’s ‘Predatory Black Sexuality’ Is ‘Very Threatening’

“We’re going to see how open the GOP is to this black — their ‘new black friend’ when they find out he is harassing blonde women as opposed to black women. That sort of thing of black sexuality — predatory black sexuality. Very frightening in this country, still. Very threatening. So we’ll see how that plays out.”

The most recent allegation is that he made a (verbal) pass at the woman when she wasn’t even working for him.

This doesn’t fall under the definition of sexual harassment.

I suspect that these women think they can get book deals or something.

This may well all bullshit, but unfortunately it’s mounting and he’s being taken completely off message by it all.

Just defending against shit like this is a full time job.

He’s really fucked no matter what.

Is there a “Premium” Linkedin member here? Sharon Bialek has 7 connections but only Premium members can see them. Might be worth $24.95/month to uncover a possible ‘scoop’.

I’ve been a supporter of Herman Cain for a long time- probably one of the earliest of his backers here. IF there’s anything to this, I’d have to re-think my support for him. But I’d want to see/hear a lot more than has come out so far.

If he’s found innocent will that hurt his credibility with moderate Democrats? They seem to go for powerful guys who harass interns.

    @ mfhorn:

This screams bull shit at the top of its lungs. Think of the probability from a statistical stand point for just one minute. Herman Cain has a huge career of many successful endeavors that spans decades. All of the women so far have come from only one small blip on his career. Where are the women from Godfather’s, Burger King, the Navy Ballistics Research job, The Federal Reserve, The Radio Station, anywhere else? Has any of these high profile cases pursued by Gloria Allred ever turned out to resembling in any way the narrative that she presented in her opening presser? Doriengrey has noted also that each of the women so far come from the one organization where Herman had to deal with the SEIU. So far, only Allred’s client has suggested anything occurring which would constitute any type of sexual behavior.

This is a smear job from our dear friends of the left.

Well, it’s not much, but Mr. Cain just received his first contribution from me. It was also kind of neat seeing my name on the “latest donors” ticker on his site for 5 seconds. :-)

Some links for these over at Freep.

I’ll summarize what I found posted on various threads.
    The IRS is after her…

She has a lien against her property..

She has several bankruptcies and paternal fights over a son she had with a married CEO (and she has lost jobs faster than Kardashian marriages).

Another thing that doesn’t smell right is she said that her boyfriend booked the hotel room for her but when she got there, Cain had upgraded her room. Due to the privacy act, hotels don’t give out names of guests. You can’t call a hotel and ask if xx is staying there- not to mention some third party jacking with your reservation. Hotels wouldn’t do that.

She just had a summary judgement against her from a collections lawsuit. In September, her assets were order to be seized.

    Who’s behind it all?

The Chicago connection makes me suspect Rahm Emanuel too.

Research over at Free Republic is overturning a lot of stones and finding slimy things in Bialek’s past (summary, links to evidence at FR):

    The IRS is after her…

She has a lien against her property..

She has several bankruptcies and paternal fights over a son she had with a married CEO (and she has lost jobs faster than Kardashian marriages).

Ms. Bialek sure left a lot of creditors in her last bankruptcy (all got screwed 100%). All her debts to them were WIPED OUT…including her doctors.

Washington Examiner thinks they have a “fifth accuser.”

Read this tale of sexual mischief!!!!

A former employee of the United States Agency for International Development says Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain asked her to help arrange a dinner date for him with a female audience member following a speech he delivered nine years ago.

Donna Donella, 40, of Arlington, said the USAID paid Cain to deliver a speech to businessmen and women in Egypt in 2002, during which an Egyptian businesswoman in her 30s asked Cain a question.

“And after the seminar was over,” Donella told The Washington Examiner, “Cain came over to me and a colleague and said, ‘Could you put me in touch with that lovely young lady who asked the question, so I can give her a more thorough answer over dinner?’”

Donella, who no longer works for USAID, said they were suspicious of Cain’s motives and declined to set up the date. Cain responded, “Then you and I can have dinner.” That’s when two female colleagues intervened and suggested they all go to dinner together, Donella said.

Cain exhibited no inappropriate sexual behavior during the dinner, though he did order two $400 bottles of wine and stuck the women with the bill, she said.

The next time the women heard from Cain was Christmas, when he sent them his gospel CD.

    @ Bumr50:

Get this. Here’s the reporter that documented the supposed “hugging” at the Tea Party convention, and who believes Miss Buy-A-Lick:

On July 6, 2007, a videotape of Jacobson (was on YouTube, but later removed), clad in a bikini, and her children at the home of Craig Stebic, husband of Lisa Stebic, a missing woman, was made public[3] by WBBM-TV, the local CBS affiliate. Jacobson had been covering the story of Lisa Stebic’s unexplained disappearance.

On July 10, 2007, Jacobson and WMAQ-TV negotiated her exit, following an investigation by the station.[4]

On Monday, July 7, 2008, the Chicago Sun-Times reported “On Monday, Jacobson filed a multimillion-dollar lawsuit against CBS-owned WBBM-TV-Channel 2 for airing the tape of her at the home of Craig Stebic, the southwest suburban Plainfield man whose estranged wife, Lisa, has been missing since April 2007.”

    Stranger and stranger.
