Owner surprised to find cat regularly catches bus
A pet cat named Dodger is living up to his name – by catching free bus trips from his home town.
The ginger moggy, who was named after the Artful Dodger from Oliver Twist, has taken to hopping on and off the public transport at the bus station near his home.
The 15-year-old Tom even sits on bemused passengers’ laps as the bus makes up to 10 mile round trips from Bridport to Charmouth in Dorset.
Dodger is such a regular customer that some of the drivers take tins of cat food to work with them to give to him. They even know what stop to let him off at.
At the end of his journies the roving moggy returns to his home and owner Fee Jeanes.
Mrs Jeanes, 44, believes Dodger first took a liking to the buses as they are warm like greenhouses when the sun is on them.

Merry Christmas Blogmoc’ers!
Hope all is Merry and Bright.
Just got back from visiting my mother upstate today and on the way up, grabbed this pic at the entrance to the Holland Tunnel in Manhattan. I was surprised it turned out so sharp because it’s hard taking photos in a moving car, especially when you’re a little bit blinded by building shadows and the sun in your eyes.
Too much Christmas turkey and ham. Groan. Then came the chocolate log and I couldn’t say no to that! Sleepoyyyy. The triptothane from the turkey must be kicking in.
Merry Christmas to the bestest blog.
Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah everyone!

Merry Christmas to everyone who contributes, comments, and lurks here at Blogmocracy! Even though I don’t comment that often, I’m pleased to be a part of this community since the early days when the site’s focus was a bit, ahem, different.
And P.S. go easy on the eggnog!

As a youngster I had a pair of the classic red longjohns with the buttons up the front and a flap in the back. I don’t think I ever used the flap though. Not enough room for error in my opinion!

Even here in rinky dink Maine, I see some youth wearing fuzzy tails and/or caps with with full face coverage with animal ears. And these kids are walking around at the local mall with tails and furry headgear. WTF is up with furries?

Either that, or they took one good look around and decided to check out of the human race. I know where they’re comin’ from…
That type of facial coverage (at least in cold wintry climes) beats wearing a burqa, I’ll grant them that.
