This should be a great election year issue for the GOP. I will not hold my breath for this to be used to hit the False Messiah. The Obama Regime has rejected the Keystone Pipeline.

The Obama administration will announce this afternoon it is rejecting a Canadian firm’s application for a permit to build and operate a massive oil pipeline across the U.S.-Canada border, according to sources who have been briefed on the matter.

However the administration will allow TransCanada to reapply after it develops an alternate route through the sensitive habitat of Nebraska’s Sandhills.

Can’t piss off the Greenies and our Saudi masters!

    Odd call on this today.

One vietham time buddy is a welder on high pressure transmission gas pipe lines.

He called on another matter today, but we spoke of Keystone Pipe Line.

He says the back east union pipe line companies and the union guys tell him that the Democrats will ok Keystone later in the year to lower the price of oil closer to the Nov. vote time.

They are going to use the anouncement of the OK for the pipe line to help get Obama elected.

The commie/union democrats want the oil price to go down closer to Nov. vote day.

The announcement of this rejection needs to be blasted from the airwaves every day until election day, and the blame put squarely on the Obamessiah.

Obama Regime Department of Killing Jobs (DOKJ) by the numbers

Delaying the Keystone XL Pipeline 20,000
Forcing lignite coal plants in Texas to close (EPA) 14,000
    Gulf Drilling Moratorium (Interior) 72,000
    EPA’s Cross-State Air Pollution Rule 1,440,000
EPA’s determination that coal ash is a “hazardous waste” 250,000
EPA’s shutdown of AEP plants 5,000
EPA’s commercial and industrial boiler regulations 800,000
Interior Department’s protection of lizards and smelt fish 75,000
Jobs killed by the Obama environmental machine: 2,676,000

And that is just jobs killed by the EPA. The above numbers don’t include jobs killed by other tens of thousands of new regime regulations regarding everything from light bulbs to taxes.

    @ taxfreekiller:

If they approved it yesterday, it wouldn’t do crap to affect the price of oil before the election.

In fact, WTI DROPPED (after the close) when the rejection was announced.

Well, that is a helluva coincidence!

    @ yenta-fada:

You can also be assured it’s quite temporary. The moving finger, having writ, moves on, and all of that.
