The GOP Establishment is seeking to cripple Tea Party Conservatives. Their latest target is Allen West. Florida’s GOP elites have added more Democratic precincts to West’s district. The mastermind is Romney’s Florida Spokesman Florida Representative Will Weatherford.
Jacksonville,FL- After last night’s Republican Presidential debate, the candidates’ respective spinmeisters made their cases to the media as to why their guy won the debate. One of Governor Mitt Romney’s spokesmen was Florida Representative Will Weatherford, and during the course of his remarks in the “Spin Room”, he shed a very dim light on the ongoing redistricting process in the Florida Legislature. Over the past several weeks, many Republicans have voiced their disappointment towards the Republican legislature after the release of the preliminary redistricting maps. Much of the ire concerns the proposed boundaries of Congressman Allen West’s 22nd Congressional District that would be redrawn to include far more registered Democrats.
West’s congressional district inexplicably sheds the most out support as compared to all other incumbent Republican and Democrat Congressman. A few weeks back we quoted an unnamed legislator saying that, “Allen West was screwed”, a statement which was originally made about made five months before the proposed maps were made public, leading insiders to believe that the fix was in against Allen West. But in light of Weatherford’s comment, it is increasingly clear that this is a fait accompli.
The GOP elites keep screwing over Conservatives. It really is time for Conservatives to rethink their allegiance to the GOP.

Hmmmm. This requires much thought. Mitt Romney wants an appropriate offering from Allen West. And an appropriate answer should be given.
This speaks for itself, but needs traction.

Did Elliott Abrams and National Review Online get “brainwashed” by Romney?
Last week Elliott Abrams and NRO have had their reputations severely damaged by printing an article smearing Newt. It was full of falsehoods and outright fabrications. Both Abrams and the NRO need to come out apologize publicly before the Florida primary.
In order for Newt’s comments in the March 21, 1986 edition of the Congressional Record to be cherry-picked to say the exact opposite about Newt’s support for Reagan means they had to have read the whole thing and knew it was false. Whoever did that research was fabricating an outright lie. For the Abrams and the editors of NRO to not fact-check it and let it stand makes them a part of that lie.
When George Romney, Mitt’s father, ran for president he famously said that he was “brainwashed” by U.S. advisers. He then lost the nomination to Nixon.
Will the NRO now say they were “brainwashed” by Romney advisers?

It is as important to defeat Mitt Romney as it is to defeat Barack Obama.
@ 1389AD:
Dear GOP — You fuckers really DON’T remember what happened in 2006, do you? Remember when the Libertarians and the Independents said “enough of Democrap light!” and didn’t vote for your candidates?
Look around at your House majority. The TEA Party you loathe so much got you that majority. Your problem was that the TEA Party members got there and remembered who they worked for -- and it wasn’t YOU.
