Welcome to the Weekend! Kick back and relax…

For some reason, one of the most perfect ‘pop songs’ didn’t make yesterday’s one hit wonder thread….

.

But, if there ever was a perfect pop song it’s this:

.

Enjoy your weekend! The Bar is open, can I get anyone anything?

Thinking about having to vote for Mitt Romney makes me feel a certain way.

After much soul-searching about this and elections past, I’ve come up with a very apt word to describe myself:

    CHUMP.

On that note, I’ll take a Bombay Sapphire and tonic.

Hell, that’s a typical weeknight at the Brick abode. It just needs more midgets, some elephants jumping through burning hoops, a nosy neighbor peering through the privacy fence, and the occasional drunken outburst rising above the din, “Hold daddy’s beer and watch this.” Ok, not really.

Whoa, really? I saw Depeche twice. Thought they did a decent job.

NIN ripped me off with their 90 minute “Fragile” tour. I think I only ever walked out on one concert, though, which was Franz Ferdinand’s.

The Cure’s Bloodflowers concert in Houston was the best one I went to. Four hours they played and every moment was awesome. And then a critic complained that it was “depressing”. (Er, that’s kind of the Cure’s point, genius.) And Marilyn Manson put on a good show as well, but then, no-one ever listened to Marilyn for their music; if they didn’t put on a show, they would suck.

They have a ton of stuff out.
Not sure why they’ve never caught on in the states.

I believe I’ll be seeking out some more of their stuff. :)

and 0 will have a great rose garden ceremony allowing the catholics to do what they want under obamacare, it’ll be a great and well publicized meeting in the rose garden with bishops and cardinals…just in time for the election…and the sheep will go right back to voting D.

Have you tried the compressed gas drain de-blocker? I use it as a first resort, it’s great. Assuming it’s available in your market area…. it’s a little disposable can of some kind of compressed gas with a plunger and a set of different tips for fitting different drains, which is meant to be kept. Up here it’s about 20 bucks for the whole kit.
