I don’t know whether to laugh or be disgusted, but it’s an educational video for sure. The lesson is “don’t get suckered into eating a spoonful of cinnamon.”

I think that’s what they refer to as weapons grade stupid. :)

So, what’s the story with your av?

    I know it’s a relative, but what’s the rifle?

Nice. I got drafted talked into helping coach a youth shooting team. They shoot both 3 and 4 position 50 ft. indoors. A couple of them Could. Go. All. The. Way. /Berman Before that happens though, I have to convince them of the importance of keeping a shooting journal. :(

DG, I left you some leftover snacks downstairs to go with your beer tonight.

And, your mom is stronger than you think. Glad to see her node biopsies came back negative. The arrhythmia will resolve with some old fashioned meds by tomorrow. Prayers for her speedy recovery.

Damn! We might have to open up a new OOT to handle this volume!

I take it as a good sign that the economy might be moving again. More peeps have more work and can’t prowl around as late as they used to. As for me, sleep is for wooses.

Well, I just arrived back at wellsite after a long stint off work recuperating from a broken arm. Just got the computer fired up a while ago.

Humpf. The last time I sat wells, I used to bring a programmable calculator (TI) and printer cradle to do log calculations. Portable computers were science fiction.

    @ doriangrey:

I mashed that up a few days ago. It’s something I’ve wanted to do for quite some time, but until this past November, I didn’t possess the hardware capable of processing it.
For anyone else interested, that item is located here

    Thomas Sowell gets it:

Growing numbers of Americans on food stamps, jobs preserved by bailouts, people living on extended unemployment payments and people behind in their mortgage payments being helped by government interventions are all potential voters for those who rescued them — even if their rescuers are the reason for hard times, in the first place.

The economy was far worse during the first term of Franklin D. Roosevelt than it has been under Obama. Unemployment rates under FDR were more than double what they have been under Obama. Yet FDR was reelected in a landslide. Dependency pays off for politicians, even when it damages an economy or ruins a society.

Obama may very well beat whomever we nominate this year. People who think he is gone no matter what are fooling themselves. He is not, by any indication, invincible, but if we run another John McCain/Bob Dole style campaign, Obama will be President come next January 20th.

    @ Moe Katz:

It’s raaaacist I know, but that picture would be hilarious IMHO if obama’s head from the marshmellow cannon photo form a couple of days ago was photo-shopped over hitler’s.
