We're not easily offended and don't want people to think they have to walk on eggshells around here (like at another place that shall remain nameless) but of course, there is a limit to everything.
This whole administration is an act. They were using these tactics during the election. Calling Ozero “Hussein” was RAAAACIST. Where did that Hussein thing come from anyway, and where did it go? The disappearing acts are legion.
@ yenta-fada:
We had some felons in the office next door a couple years ago. Clothing, the walk, the attitude, everything. Creeped everyone out. They were debt collectors -- collection by harrassment.
Bill Ayers feels embolded with bho in office and people need to take notice. This president has gone rogue. If Bill Ayers thinks capitalism is going to be ended.
The people backing him are really dangerous to the American way.

Call in, sound stupid and explain for the rest of us how southern women take off their bras while driving.
That is an amazing Houdiniesque feat of magic and I have seen several live performances. I’m thinking the secret is in whether the device unlatches from the front or unlatches from the back. At any rate, it’s a threadworthy topic.

Time to say goodbye. You are so done. My shit bucket is overflowing now.
In separate interviews, Vice President Joe Biden and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton sought to cast Romney as stuck in the days of the Cold War and unaware of the strategic interests that the United States and Russia share on Iran, Afghanistan and the world’s oil supply.
The two were hitting back at Romney for criticizing Obama last week after the Democratic president assured Russian President Dmitry Medvedev that he would have “more flexibility” to deal with the contentious issue of missile defense after the November 6 general election in the United States…
“The administration has given away concession after concession to the Russian government and received obstructionism on major issues of national security in return. We can expect more such ‘flexibility’ if President Obama is re-elected,” Chen said.
Obama was, is the Manchurian Candidate. Anything previously known as an American “military secret” is long gone. I really believe that. Now here’s the funny thing; I think of others on this blog as being unhinged paranoids.

It was not meant to be directed to you personally, it’s just a pattern I see here, the “ain’t nobody good enough for me” meme, aka the classic non-productive game called “Ain’t It Awful.”
I’m happy to escape the dreadful discovery I’m going through for the case at work right now. I have dueling lawyers and I feel like I’m first prize in a taffy pull. I hope Sean Payton wins his appeal -- maybe all Goodell wanted was for him to grovel and he’ll show some “mercy.”
I’ve been out of the loop for 3 days, so Sean Payton did go for the appeal? Hopefully that is all Goodell wanted because he is nuking the Saints and still no deal with Brees! Arrrghhhhh!!!!!
The waiting is the hard thing on this. So the decision will be on Tuesday. Just making Payton grovel ‘hopefully’ will be good enough and the message is sent ‘on what will happen’. Crossing my fingers.
@ doriangrey:
Ha! Just wanted to say that I see I “guessed” correctly re the kerfuffle. And also to compliment you on your knowledge of Mexican politics.
My knowledge of Mexican politics is only in the general, and woefully inadequate considering I live only 50 miles from the border. I do try to understand what is happening down there, since it does find it’s way up here. But I am greatly hampered by my own lazy failure to learn Spanish. (a damn good question is, how did I manage to live this close to the Mexican Border for 40 years and only learn a small handful of Spanish words and phrases/)
I did the I-5 border crossing from Tijuana to the U.S. one morning at 6:00 a.m. Like an idiot, I thought “who crosses the border early in the morning?” Almost ran out of gas in the two hours it took, and then I had to explain why we had so much luggage (I had an out of town visitor and we had gone from spending a week in L.A. to one day in Mexico).
@ Lily:
Flyboy needs one for his job, too. And it’s a very invasive process and hard to get.
Lily, you would not believe what I had to go through for my clearances while I was in the Army. Proctology exams for my entire family out to second cousins / a little sarc there but not much. And once you get a clearance at that level you NEVER go off the screen.

Two hours, man you were in the express line, the wait there can be as much as 5 hours sometimes. (think all the college kids trying to get back from spring break at the last possible second)
Sounds also like my brother when he was in the Air Force. I asked him what he did and he said, “I could tell you but then I would have to kill you.” I never asked again.
/I knew only he worked on the spy planes. That was it.

Yup, when I was 19 I obtained clearance for working at the San Onfre Nuclear Power Facility, as a professional musician in my late 20′s I was in a considerable bit of trouble with the law, so you would think, security clearance shot to hell and gone, right? nope, when I was working for DR Technologies I was assigned to work on a “Black Project” I told my boss, I’ll never get a security clearance for this.
When they ran me for a security clearance, I came back with the highest security clearance rating in the entire company. Go figure.
My friend from New Zealand kept asking if they were all Americans coming back into the country. I said not according to the license plates and the fact that their probably uninsured vehicles were playing bumper cars with the back of my Mustang.
What is this “Spy Plane” you speak of? Don’t make be sneak in through the back door of one of my satellites and and turn the brainwave reader on you to get the details…
AZ -- I have never been angrier than I am over this President and never more fearful for our future. I want to stop listening to talk radio and to stop going on the internet, simply because every day brings a new outrage. But I keep telling myself, that if I don’t have the truth, I can never smack down the liberal lies.
@ doriangrey:
I suppose it depended on what you were arrested for. I bet if you had ever been arrested at a protest you would not have gotten it.
Well, not sure, but I do know that AZ is right about my never dropping off national securities radar, those guys basically know where I am pretty much 24/7.
I wish more people were paying attention and maybe they are. Like I have said many times before. It’s too quiet and there seems like a rumbling just beneath the surface.
Not to mention I 4.00 gas prices for premium gas in Texas.
@ doriangrey:
I willing to bet that there was nothing in that checkered past that left you open to covert control ie blackmail.
What they are looking for is shit you are trying to hide or an indication of a failure of basic morals. This part just don’t sound like you!
Yea, they got a psyc profile on me that gives them a pretty damned good idea of who and what I am. I have actually been evaluated three times that I know of. The second one was right after my incident with the law, 120 pages of questions and bullshit. I’m pretty sure those guys know me better than I do.
I can honestly tell you I don’t know what he was working on. He couldn’t say and to this day he will not say. I know he went on several overseas trips. If I asked him today he will tell me he can’t say and he isn’t playing around. So I honestly do not know. But he’s been out of the Air Force for a while.
@ doriangrey:
Yea, in the service they don’t worry about the clearance in those cases. After you get busted by the UCMJ you don’t have a clearance anyway.
@ doriangrey:

@ AZOlddog:
No kidding. To this day he will not say and he is a quiet man. He may tell you what it is like in the Air Force but he will not tell you what he did.
I am glad I was never under that kind of security. Everything I know and did is technically classified as classified, but none of it is stuff any security threat to the US could ever use, because they already know it.
Or should I say he never complained about it even when he was in the Air Force. He never said it bothered him but he is squeaky clean.
Even as a teenager he never got in trouble.
He works on top of a mountain for scientists. Every so often when a new batch of pictures from outer space comes in he’ll send me the link. So I don’t think he deals with classified anymore.

Flyboy needs one for his job, too. And it’s a very invasive process and hard to get.

Yes.
@ Carolina Girl:
You don’t want to know about the Donkey Show.
I’m all done for the day. G’nite me bloogies…..
@ Lily:
I’m happy to escape the dreadful discovery I’m going through for the case at work right now. I have dueling lawyers and I feel like I’m first prize in a taffy pull. I hope Sean Payton wins his appeal -- maybe all Goodell wanted was for him to grovel and he’ll show some “mercy.”
@ Carolina Girl:
I’ve been out of the loop for 3 days, so Sean Payton did go for the appeal? Hopefully that is all Goodell wanted because he is nuking the Saints and still no deal with Brees! Arrrghhhhh!!!!!
@ Lily:
His appeal to Goodell and that of the GM will be heard on Tuesday. I imagine Breezy wants what Peyton is getting and he should get it.
In the meantime, we wait,
Dorian -- are you still around?
@ Carolina Girl:
The waiting is the hard thing on this. So the decision will be on Tuesday. Just making Payton grovel ‘hopefully’ will be good enough and the message is sent ‘on what will happen’. Crossing my fingers.
@ yenta-fada:
No thanks.

Just finished dinner, so yes I am… (and as I look down at my waistline, I do mean around)…

Ha! Just wanted to say that I see I “guessed” correctly re the kerfuffle. And also to compliment you on your knowledge of Mexican politics.
Oh my heck….I have eaten an entire box of Chicken in a Biskit.
@ Carolina Girl:
That happens sometimes!
BTW I still think it’d be fun to have a meetup sometime. There’s lot of people I’d like to meet in real life. I’m just saying.
Carolina Girl wrote:
My knowledge of Mexican politics is only in the general, and woefully inadequate considering I live only 50 miles from the border. I do try to understand what is happening down there, since it does find it’s way up here. But I am greatly hampered by my own lazy failure to learn Spanish. (a damn good question is, how did I manage to live this close to the Mexican Border for 40 years and only learn a small handful of Spanish words and phrases/)
@ doriangrey:
I did the I-5 border crossing from Tijuana to the U.S. one morning at 6:00 a.m. Like an idiot, I thought “who crosses the border early in the morning?” Almost ran out of gas in the two hours it took, and then I had to explain why we had so much luggage (I had an out of town visitor and we had gone from spending a week in L.A. to one day in Mexico).

Lily, you would not believe what I had to go through for my clearances while I was in the Army. Proctology exams for my entire family out to second cousins / a little sarc there but not much. And once you get a clearance at that level you NEVER go off the screen.
Carolina Girl wrote:
Two hours, man you were in the express line, the wait there can be as much as 5 hours sometimes. (think all the college kids trying to get back from spring break at the last possible second)
@ AZOlddog:
Makes you wonder how bho ever, ever could get the clearance to even run for senator!!!
@ Lily:
Because there is no Clearance requirement to run for public office.
BHO is in my humble opinion PROOF that there should be!!!!
@ AZOlddog:
Sounds also like my brother when he was in the Air Force. I asked him what he did and he said, “I could tell you but then I would have to kill you.” I never asked again.
/I knew only he worked on the spy planes. That was it.
@ AZOlddog:
No kidding!!!
AZOlddog wrote:
Yup, when I was 19 I obtained clearance for working at the San Onfre Nuclear Power Facility, as a professional musician in my late 20′s I was in a considerable bit of trouble with the law, so you would think, security clearance shot to hell and gone, right? nope, when I was working for DR Technologies I was assigned to work on a “Black Project” I told my boss, I’ll never get a security clearance for this.
When they ran me for a security clearance, I came back with the highest security clearance rating in the entire company. Go figure.
@ Lily:
Not that we have any spy planes.
@ doriangrey:
My friend from New Zealand kept asking if they were all Americans coming back into the country. I said not according to the license plates and the fact that their probably uninsured vehicles were playing bumper cars with the back of my Mustang.
@ doriangrey:
I suppose it depended on what you were arrested for. I bet if you had ever been arrested at a protest you would not have gotten it.
Lily wrote:
What is this “Spy Plane” you speak of? Don’t make be sneak in through the back door of one of my satellites and and turn the brainwave reader on you to get the details…
@ doriangrey:
I willing to bet that there was nothing in that checkered past that left you open to covert control ie blackmail.
What they are looking for is shit you are trying to hide or an indication of a failure of basic morals. This part just don’t sound like you!
@ AZOlddog:
AZ -- I have never been angrier than I am over this President and never more fearful for our future. I want to stop listening to talk radio and to stop going on the internet, simply because every day brings a new outrage. But I keep telling myself, that if I don’t have the truth, I can never smack down the liberal lies.
@ doriangrey:
I know nuthing!
Lily wrote:
Well, not sure, but I do know that AZ is right about my never dropping off national securities radar, those guys basically know where I am pretty much 24/7.
@ Lily:
If he was Air Farce I guarantee he was not working on the same birds I was. Or not working on IYKWIMAIASYD
@ doriangrey:
El Cajon & LSD in street lights?
@ Carolina Girl:
I wish more people were paying attention and maybe they are. Like I have said many times before. It’s too quiet and there seems like a rumbling just beneath the surface.
Not to mention I 4.00 gas prices for premium gas in Texas.
AZOlddog wrote:
Yea, they got a psyc profile on me that gives them a pretty damned good idea of who and what I am. I have actually been evaluated three times that I know of. The second one was right after my incident with the law, 120 pages of questions and bullshit. I’m pretty sure those guys know me better than I do.

I can honestly tell you I don’t know what he was working on. He couldn’t say and to this day he will not say. I know he went on several overseas trips. If I asked him today he will tell me he can’t say and he isn’t playing around. So I honestly do not know. But he’s been out of the Air Force for a while.
AZOlddog wrote:
But probably not the same “Birds” I most assuredly was not working on…
@ doriangrey:
Yea, in the service they don’t worry about the clearance in those cases. After you get busted by the UCMJ you don’t have a clearance anyway.
@ Lily:
In my job I knew what birds he was not working on just as I would bet he knew what birds I was not working on.

@ AZOlddog:
No kidding. To this day he will not say and he is a quiet man. He may tell you what it is like in the Air Force but he will not tell you what he did.
@ Lily:
About as far as he will go is he worked on planes. You think? Air Force and all.
Lily wrote:
I am glad I was never under that kind of security. Everything I know and did is technically classified as classified, but none of it is stuff any security threat to the US could ever use, because they already know it.
@ doriangrey:
I don’t think it bothered him. He didn’t say. I just saw him this week-end too. He lives in AZ now.
doriangrey wrote:
Why I am totally shocked at that article. Care to see some land in Florida?
@ Lily:
Or should I say he never complained about it even when he was in the Air Force. He never said it bothered him but he is squeaky clean.
Even as a teenager he never got in trouble.

He works on top of a mountain for scientists. Every so often when a new batch of pictures from outer space comes in he’ll send me the link. So I don’t think he deals with classified anymore.

I now know exactly where he works! No Comment!!!!
@ AZOlddog:
Yeah I figured you would figure it out and I didn’t want to say exactly where he works!
