Kim Jong Un’s Election as Head of WPK Hailed
Pyongyang, April 13 (KCNA) — Officials of the Ministry of Light Industry of the DPRK are delighted at the happy news that the dear respected Kim Jong Un was elected first secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK).
Vice-Minister Choe Il Ryong told KCNA:
“The dear respected Kim Jong Un is a prominent great man faithfully carrying forward the idea and cause of leader Kim Jong Il.
Guided by him, our revolution is progressing steadily and confidently along the road shown by the leader.”
A department director, Ho Chol San, said Kim Jong Un is a great statesman giving energetic and wise guidance over the party, army and state affairs as a whole.
A department director, Kim Kyong Suk, said,
“Kim Jong Un is the tender-hearted leader of the people as he takes warm care of all of them with deep love.
With the noble outlook on the people, he makes a new history of love for people, attaching top priority to the interests and convenience of the people.”
Kim Jong Un Elected First Chairman of NDC of DPRK
Pyongyang, April 13 (KCNA) — The fifth session of the 12th Supreme People’s Assembly of the DPRK elected Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea, supreme commander of the Korean People’s Army and supreme leader of the party and people of the DPRK, as first chairman of the National Defence Commission (NDC) of the DPRK. The session was convened at a historic time when a bright future is being opened for the great Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il’s Korea.
The session solemnly declared at home and abroad that Kim Jong Un was elected as first chairman of the NDC of the DPRK in reflection of the unanimous desire of servicepersons and people of the country. Kim Jong Un, a great statesman of literary and military accomplishments, who is possessed of outstanding wisdom, distinguished leadership ability, matchless pluck and noble revolutionary comradeship, is advancing the revolutionary cause of Juche pioneered by President Kim Il Sung and led by Kim Jong Il along the path of victory with his sweeping revolutionary practice.
The participants burst into rousing cheers of “Hurrah!” with feelings of strong yearning and loyalty, extending highest glory and warmest congratulations to him.
His election as first chairman of the NDC is an auspicious event that provides an eternal guarantee for glorifying Korean-style socialism centered on the popular masses by consolidating the DPRK as the country of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and demonstrating the dignity and might of the nation.
This is a manifestation of the unshakable will of all the servicepersons and people to follow the supreme commander who has performed great exploits in political, military, economic, cultural and all other fields by providing energetic leadership to the revolution and construction together with Kim Jong Il from long ago.
This is also a historic event that demonstrated the strong will of the army and people of the DPRK to hold Kim Jong Un in high esteem as the center of unity and leadership and accomplish the revolutionary cause of Juche, Songun revolutionary cause that was started on Mt. Paektu.
All the participants were full of pledge to become genuine revolutionary comrades and comrades-in-arms who would go along the path of the revolution arms in arms and shoulder to shoulder with Kim Jong Un while single-mindedly united around him under the slogan “Let us defend with our very lives the Party Central Committee headed by great Comrade Kim Jong Un!”
Only victory and glory are in store for the army and people who are dynamically advancing under the leadership of Kim Jong Un, closely rallied around him.
wrt to Chuck, there’s a book out called “In Sheep’s Clothing” which talks about sociopaths and how to deal with them. The book says that those people without a conscience don’t have a particular background that produces them. Giving them the standard ‘mommy and daddy were mean to me’ explanation doesn’t work. They constantly play victim because it is one of the strategies they employ to control and demean others. You have to basically walk away from them because they can’t be “figured out” like normal people. They don’t respond well to therapy and mostly won’t even be interested. Maybe we will have a “Why we split with LGF” one day at Blogmocracy.
@ Speranza:
You and Rodan got quoted again by two separate news sites.
You were quoted by Al Arabiya News, and I won’t link it.
One blog writer by the name Speranza on The Blogmocracy wrote on April 1: “Add her to the list of actors whose films I will never watch even on cable. The funny thing is that I’ll bet in her heart of hearts she does not give a s*** one way or another about Israel, ‘Palestine’ or anything else. She just wants to stay ‘trendy and relevant’ in today’s Londonistan. The National Theatre of China is ok but not Habimah?”

Dull subject, but wotthehell.
When Mad King Yertle started looking for people to ban rather than banning people who were merely stupid or disruptive, it was obvious something had changed; something had gone screwy in his makeup.
When he started erecting stupid little altars to a gnomelike little god of “science” that showed he had no more idea what “science” was about than a cargo cultist, that was a problem.
And when he permitted both the half-inch-foreheaded “Jimmah”—a surly illiterate boob—and the smarmy idiot “iceweasel” to dominate his pages without banning them for offenses against civility more egregious than anything done by many a longtime poster, it was obvious that Mad King Yertle had some new plan a-cookin’. The most charitable view is that he had lost his mind; I hope for his sake that is true, for insanity is more forgivable than the only other explanation, which is that he decided to be a whore either for cheap sex thrills or for the promise of money which never materialized.
Far more honorable for him to have gone well and truly mad than for him to have sold himself either for a few ejaculations or the promise of money never received.

In Mexico, there are more hispanic criminals that white criminals.
In the entire world, there are more asian criminals than black or white criminals. In the Bay Area there are more democrat criminals than republican criminals. I don’t know where I’m going with this but it has to do with demographics and statistics.
@ Speranza:
In the U.S. blacks make up 10-12% of the population. There are more whites than blacks. There is a percentage of whites who are criminals, and their number is larger than the number of black criminals.
I’ve never met the man and wouldn’t ascribe that nomenclature to him based on one article, and a few quotes selected by those who have an interest in preserving a certain narrative.
Nor, would I want anyone to ascribe certain labels to me based on something I may have written, or a few off the cuff remarks I may have made in my lifetime. But, I’m funny like that.
Palestinian prisoners to launch mass hunger strike
If only…
They should be allowed to go on a hunger strike as long as they’ll waive their right to medical care and indemnify the prison for any conditions resulting from their willful act not to eat.
@ Brick:
I read the article he wrote. Started off good, then it started getting weird, and by the time I finished I thought that someone had hacked into NRO to post it. That wasn’t the case, and he meant what he said.
