China Slows Solar and Wind Projects Undermining White House Green PR Strategy

The Obama Regime energy policy is primarily about driving up the cost of fossil fuels to the point that they are no longer affordable so that we will have no choice but to turn instead to the so-called “green” or “alternative” energy sources of wind, solar and biomass. To that end they have tried to sell the idea that we must move quickly to convert to these alternative energy sources so that we won’t lose our competitive edge to China. Oh, yes; and think of all of the green jobs that will be created.

Much to the disappointment of the O-Regime, the Chinese government announced that it  “would stop expanding its wind and solar industries, choosing instead to focus on nuclear, hydroelectric and shale …. as the energies of the future.”  How about them apples?! Obama has been telling us that fossil fuels are the energy of the past and wind, solar and algae are the fuel sources of the future. As I’ve said in the past, I have yet to fill up my gas tank with wind, sunbeams or seaweed as Dr. K-Hammer quipped.

“It is getting tougher and tougher for the Obama administration to argue that somehow we’re in this big race for green power worldwide when the rest of the world seems to have decided that the race isn’t worth winning,” Daniel Kish, the senior vice president for policy at the Institute for Energy Research, told The Daily Caller.

President Barack Obama, whose administration has held up solar and wind energy while stunting shale and snubbing hydroelectric, has deployed nationalist lingo, holding the specter of global Chinese green technology dominance as a driving motivation behind the administration’s expensive and embattled green energy subsidy programs. In his 2012 State of the Union address, Obama said, “I will not cede the wind or solar or battery industry to China or Germany because we refuse to make the same commitment here.”

By halting wind and solar industry expansion, Kish told TheDC, “China’s just doing what every other country in the world other than the United States is doing. Years back, the president used Spain as an example [of green energy competition] … then Germany, then China.”

Spain’s green energy subsidies were found to have a cost of 2.2 jobs for every one created; and in Germany, the government announced this year that it is scaling back its subsidies. “It’s too damn expensive,” Kish explained, “and someone’s got to pay for it.”

Obama is not a major intellect, that is MSM myth.
But he doesn’t sit in a corner with a drool cup
    under his lower lip either.
He is willfully destroying our economy, our culture,
our place in the world & our military.
He has a grudge & now he is getting even.

Every scheme the Regime has sold, or tried to sell to the American taxpayer has been a fraud. And, in true fraudster fashion, WE’VE GOT TO ACT RIGHT NOW BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE! I’m glad to see the Chicoms leave him twisting in the wind on the solar/wind deal. The Regime has gotten so predictable. Anytime there’s a new policy initiative simply look for the lie because it’s not very far away.

    Related, I think.

The US Federal Court in New York on Jan. 26 will hear the appeal of the Chinese manufacturer Liaoning Xinxingjia against the Nasdaq’s decision to delist its shares. Xinxingjia has also filed a complaint with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.

Benjamin Wei, the majority shareholder of Xinxingjia, said that the company’s legal representative Arlen Specter has written to Nasdaq CEO Robert Greifeld and Edward Knight, the exchange’s chief attorney, claiming Xinxingjia was denied an adequate judicial process and fair treatment in the case.

The Small and Medium Enterprise Department of Liaoning province in northeastern China, where the company is based, has also written to the US Department of Commerce and the US Trade Representative demanding the US government look into the company’s accusations of bias and handle the case in a fair and transparent manner.

The department charges that the share delisting has a caused US$200 million loss to Xinxingjia’s market value, affected the company’s reputation and even influenced Liaoning province’s economic development. Due to its inability to raise funds from the international capital market, the company could not table a bid for a contract to build a US$100 million windmill in New Jersey.

I can’t wait to read what those leaders say about him in their books when they and BO-hole are out of office. Should be some juicy stuff. It’s not like they’ll pull their punches because they want to be pals with him.

It will be interesting to read them
Angela Merkel got his measure very early.
She forgot, or maybe not to say that “this is
off record,” speaking to a Der Speigel reporter.
BHO was not in office a year and she said “There is

I guarantee that someone close to Specter (or maybe even Arlen himself -- he’s pretty out there) lost their ass on an insider tip about “Chinese windmills” he received while he was still in office. He then missed the heads up to get out after he got booted.

Just a theory, but why does he care so much?

Another Friday and another executive order from Baby Doc Baraq.

Obama appoints Soros-linked immigration advisor to lead natural gas council

WASHINGTON D.C. — President Obama released today an executive order claiming to support safe and responsible development of unconventional domestic natural gas resource. The order creates an interagency working group led by the chairman of the White House Domestic Policy Council, Ceclia Munoz, who formerly led the Center for Community Change and the Open Society Institute — two organizations with close ties to billionaire George Soros, ACORN, MoveOn, and other radical groups with a record of opposing the development of America’s organic fossil fuels.

Britain announced yesterday that it will not issue permits for any land based wind farms. This follows strong public protest by those impacted, including substantial royals. To add context, more than 20% of the capital invested in energy for the last decade or so has gone into wind. It has generated about .09% of the new electricity . This is a negative return of investment of 22,222% Meanwhile, the country side is infested with these ugly, noisy, wildlife killing machines.

Global Warming Dogma and the New Iron Triangle

The typical doomsday cult believes that an apocalyptic disaster is imminent. When the disaster fails to arrive, the cult faces a psychological disaster from which it may or may not recover by announcing a new and later date for doom to arrive. The advocates of apocalyptic global warming have a lot in common with doomsday cults1. Compared to the typical doomsday cult, the global warming cultists are better-educated and use the jargon of science to make their beliefs sound reasonable. The global warmers have the special advantage of generous government financing. Billions of dollars of government money is spent on climate research and low-carbon energy schemes. The money buys impressive political support.

An iron triangle, in political usage, describes a strong lobbying interest with three mutually supporting components. The iron triangle of interests that promotes government support for global warming consists of big science, environmental organizations, and alternative energy industries.

It is truly outrageous, but not surprising that the EPA has a Climate Change Division and I am in the process of contacting my Senators and congressional rep about this utter fraud. However, we don’t have a cabinet level post for climate change as does UK. We have no Department of Climate Change or a Climate Change Secretary. I briefly browsed that EPA Climate Change site and it’s like reading a child’s fairy tale. We must put an end to this fraud!

Common sense???? I think that common sense has flown the coop with many people. Especially people who are running this government. It’s all about feelings and damn be the facts. We have a corrupt and rogue president because of voter fraud and people who no longer have common sense.
But a ray of hope if it goes by my sons and nephews and nieces. They are seeing that common sense has flown the coop and are not happy with it. They also are seeing that there is fewer communications with real people and my youngest son said just today there is a huge dis-connect with people inter-acting with each other now days.

This is only my opinion from within my family, 25 to 30 year olds who live on the West Coast they are still buying into the green nonsense. Those that live in the south believe it is all a bunch of horse crap and are complaining it cost us 100 dollars in gas for a small trip!!!
