OWS planning a May 1st “Day of Action”

by Rodan ( 117 Comments › )
Filed under Communism, Progressives, Socialism, Tranzis at April 30th, 2012 - 11:30 am

The Neo-Stalinist Occupy Wall Street Movement is planning a soviet style “day of action” on May 1st. That date is celebrated by the International Left. By choosing May 1st as the date of their Popular Uprising they are revealing their Communist nature.

Occupy Wall Street demonstrators, whose anti-greed message spread worldwide during an eight-week encampment in Lower Manhattan last year, plan marches across the globe tomorrow calling attention to what they say are abuses of power and wealth.

Organizers say they hope the coordinated events will mark a spring resurgence of the movement after a quiet winter. Calls for a general strike with no work, no school, no banking and no shopping have sprung up on websites in Toronto, Barcelona, London, Kuala Lumpur and Sydney, among hundreds of cities in North America, Europe and Asia.

In New York, Occupy Wall Street will join scores of labor organizations observing May 1, traditionally recognized as International Workers’ Day. They plan marches from Union Square to Lower Manhattan and a “pop-up occupation” of Bryant Park on Sixth Avenue, across the street from Bank of America’s Corp.’s 55-story tower.

“We call upon people to refrain from shopping, walk out of class, take the day off of work and other creative forms of resistance disrupting the status quo,” organizers said in an April 26 e-mail.

It is time to stop playing around with them. OWS is a Stalinist movement and people on the right need to label these people correctly. My question is why doesn’t the Tea Party organize marches anymore? The Left has seized the initiative on the streets while our side does nothing. This creates an impression that they have momentum. It is time for Conservatives and Libertarians to hit the streets.

OWS are bullies and they need to be confronted.

FYI Day of Action is a Marxist term like Popular Uprising.

I was watching this corny movie (Willow) with my brother one time, and the evil Queen was brewing up some evil potion to kill the little baby girl, and her evil henchmen were standing around doing evil henchman stuff as they prepared to cut the year old baby girls heart out.

I made some off-handed comment to my brother about evil henchmen, and my brother responded… “Hey, even evil henchman have to pay the rent”…

The sad part is, that given the state of California’s public indoctrination system, he probably has no idea who Mao is and Rodan informing him that Mao murdered 100 million Chinese in his great leap forward is probably the first time in his life he has ever heard about it.

At least two journalist unions are part of the protest. Those include:
•The Writers Guild of America, East, “a labor union of thousands of professionals who are the primary creators of what is seen or heard on television and film in the U.S., as well as the writers of a growing portion of original digital media content.
•CWA Local 31003 The New York Newspaper Guild, as well as two other Communications Workers of America locals.

As part of Occupy Wall Street’s call for a nationwide “general strike” May 1, elements within the group are looking to shut down bridges and tunnels in both New York and San Francisco.

It has nothing to do with it. This is simply another way to outrage people to riot. Although he does his little best to not come right and say the riots were good. But the overall piece is that the riots were good because justice had failed and justice has failed them again with the Zimmerman case so the riots are indeed okay and they need to rise up and riot again.

    @ Lily:

The mistake Conservativesa are making is falling for the racial aspect. Many of you don’t see the big picture. That is just one element, OWS is the real agenda and the “race” rioters will join with OWS. This is a Progressive popular uprising, not race riots.

They use race to distract conservatives.

    @ NoThreat2U:

What rankled me … it is the out right glorification of the LA riots. No matter 54 people were killed, no matter that millions of dollars worth of damage was done…it was righteous because justice had been denied, again and again and again and again with the Zimmerman case. So they need to riot again.

  94. 95 | April 30, 2012 1:48 pm

    @ Rodan:

It is going to get a lot of people killed if they pull off what they are trying to. These overgrown, spoiled children of #OWS aren’t just going to get a spanking, or a couple of days in County. People are going to wind up getting shot, and as long as it is rioters getting shot, I’m behind it. They don’t have a right to their Popular Uprising™. Just their threatinging it is probably illegal incitement, but the Law doesn’t have the intestinal fortitude to arrest them on it.

The politicians of the areas these guys are planning their “Day of Action ™” support their agenda. SO the Police will be on the side of OWS.

Oh no I see were they will join up together. Race/warfare and Class/warfare together. I just hope it blows up right in bho’s face this fueling of this unrest. They have been trying to ignite an outright war and so far it sizzles out. They are trying again to throw gasoline on the fire tomorrow. I am sure they have their fingers crossed. The problem is: this isn’t the 60′s.

The beauty of it, it will be mostly Democratic areas effected by this “Popular Uprising ™.”

It just depends upon the race or group affiliation of who is doing the incitement.

If I put out a bounty on anyone’s head, I would expect the full weight of the law to be brought to bear against me. I am not a black panther.
If I incited riots that murdered someone, I would be prosecuted and put away in jail for a very long time. I am not al sharpton.

It isn’t the policemen’s fault it is the mayors of the towns fault. The policemen will have their hands tied behind their backs and I am sure they are not happy about this ONE SINGLE BIT!!! If this gets out of hand the mayors will have no choice but to untie the policemens hands.

The only problem with that thinking is there will be innocent people caught in the crossfire. People who want nothing to do with this at all.

Check this out. Bob Schieffer Ties 20th Anniversary of Rodney King Riots to Trayvon Martin
CBS, and Bob Schieffer in particular, are openly inciting a riot. Disgraceful.

Indeed and this will hurt them a lot if things go the way they want them to go. But just like a fire, it can suddenly blow-back on them all. They are playing with unstable dynamite and matches.

  104. 105 | April 30, 2012 2:01 pm

    @ huckfunn:

This coincides with OWS’s day of action!

  105. 106 | April 30, 2012 2:01 pm

    @ Rodan:

If they burn down their own nests, then throw up barricades, and confine them to their own areas. The problem is, there are decent people living there too. Much better to shoot the rioters. I am sure the Democrat establishments will let them run wild, but Romney better be prepared to capitalize on the unrest and how it demonstrates that you can’t trust the Democrats to run the dog pound, let alone a city or the country.

    True.

On the other hand, where are the voices from the black community against this insanity? It is possible that I have missed them. I have heard Lloyd Marcus at American Thinker, but that is about it.

On the other other hand, I also understand that such a position would be highly unpopular and quite possibly dangerous.

Getting away with it? He has turned it into a lucrative vocation!

Otherwise he would be a reverend without a congregation like he was before tawana brawly.

    @ huckfunn:

WOW. So is Leonard Pitts,Jr. Coincidence I think not. Not to mention right before the day of the *May Day* protests. They are so open with their agenda you can almost here them actually saying, “RIOT! RIOT! RIOT!” Even a 4th grader could see what they are doing.

  111. Lily
    112 | April 30, 2012 2:12 pm

    @ citizen_q:

The people who are saying to calm down are being drowned out by the race hustlers here even Leonard Pitts says it is not time to listen to people to say wait and see they are tired of the wait and see. They want ACTION NOW!!! So anyone who does try to throw water on the fire will simply be swept aside and blasted as a traitor. Hence the reason you aren’t hearing their voices not to mention the msm isn’t giving them a voice either.

@ 112 Lily: I’d say if Leonard Pitts feels the need for a race war then it is best to arm up for it and not be a victim of it. Knock on wood that smarter wiser minds than Leonard Pitts are given his soapbox someday.
