Charles does a weather forecast.

Sorry people, this thread is not about Charles Johnson. Its about his name sake, Charles the Prince of Wales. Like his American namesake, this Charles is also a Ghoulish clown.

In Prince Charles’ latest appearance on TV, he does the weather forecast for the 60th anniversary of BB Scotland.

I wonder what would happen if prince Charles started a blog? I bet it would make LGF look sane!

They must have used pretty good make-up. I don’t see that al-zawhairi like carbuncle on his forehead from bowing and scaping towards mekkka. Has he admitted to reverting yet?

ROFLMAO * carbunkle. I watched something the other day with Prince Harry. He was awarding medal to…I forget who. lol Anyway he went on to really stress how impressed he was by all the nations fighting in A-stan. He is a righteous young man and I hope the taint of his father’s stupidy spares him. The Queen must be so disappointed in Chuck.

I really do believe that. He would be such a disappointment as a son. He is tossing aside centuries of protocol just to be more cosmopolitan. He whored around on his wife, the mother of his children!, with that nasty skank Camilla. He declares himself “Defender of the FAITHS”. Just because I believe in the fact that America was establish with no state religion, it WAS in Europe. I pray his sons are not as PC (or stupid) as he is. Even as the rightful heir, Wills fought in battle. Chuck never did. Wasn’t it Andrew that fought in the Falklands? Chuck is a bitch.

France’s new Socialist president owns three holiday homes in the glamorous Riviera resort of Cannes, it emerged today.

The 57-year-old who ‘dislikes the rich’ and wants to revolutionise his country with high taxes and an onslaught against bankers is in fact hugely wealthy himself.

His assets were published today in the Official Journal, the gazette which contains verified information about France’s government.

To the undoubted embarrassment to the most left-wing leader in Europe and a man who styles himself as ‘Mr Normal’, they are valued at almost £1million. [...]

As well as the spacious Paris apartment he shares with his lover Valerie Trierweiler, Hollande owns a palatial villa in Mougins, the prestigious hill-top Cannes suburb where the artist Pablo Picasso used to live.

It is valued by the Official Journal at €800,000 (£642,000), and is just a short drive from Hollande’s two flats in the Cannes. They are each priced at €230,000 (£185,000) and €140,000 (£112,000).

Hollande has promised to cut his pay by 30 per cent after he is officially sworn in as President next week, but he will still be on €156,000 (£125,000) a year, plus fabulous expenses and other perks.

    Yes, it is fantastic!

They had nearly 1000 there the 2 times we have gone. There are vendors. They allow vistors near the balloons as they are being set-up. In the mornings they have mass assentions. In the evenings they may have fireworks, or with the balloons teathered to the ground they would coordinate and run the burners at they same time so hundreds of balloons would all glow at once.

Plus if you want a break from balloons there is so much else to see and do nearby.

We wanted to try a hot air balloon ride at the festival. It was out of our budget.

OTOH, as the next best thing, the owners of the Lazy Boy Chair shaped balloon needed help, so we helped crew it and were treated to heck of a ride through ABQ chasing it in the back of their pick-up.

Good times. We have not talked about that in a while, I will have to remind my wife about it when she gets home from work. I am sure it will bring a smile to her face.

The “ballon people” said that ABQ has a weather phenomenon they called “the box”. This is where the winds are about 180 degrees apart at different altitudes. When it was working, and we did see this happen, after traveling some distance in one direction they could hit the burners, gain about 500 feet and almost return in the direction they just came from.

The ABQ balloon festival is also different from others I have attended in that they allowed the general public in among the balloons as the crews were setting up. Usually that area is fenced off.
